They are 0% interested in assisting in RESPONSIBLE credit building. Think about this for example. An 18-19 year old kid, saves up 35% of a 13K car for a down payment, is working hard at a job, saving money AND going to college. Then, applies for a car loan to begin to responsibly build credit, build a strong payment history and prepare for the future - because hey, you've saved 35% for a down payment, you're working a good job, you have NO DEBT, no monthly bills, and it's the perfect time to build your credit before you graduate college and want to buy a house in a few years, right? I mean, you're making around $2400 a month, fortunately have $0 in living expenses, bills, or debt and this measly credit building car payment is going to set you back around $220 per mo. Make sense? One would think. All while having a "supposed" fiscally responsible banking professional adult screw over a 19 year old kid! You're awesome Members 1st! I hope you're extremely proud.
