Terrible experience for our family. Outrageous admin fees. Will never make the mistake of signing up with them again.

Except there happened to be an idiot answering thier phones today.I called to see if an appointment was necessary. Unfortunately some guy answers the phone plainly "Hello". I asked if this was the gym, he rudely says "yeah what do you want". Really?! I decided to hang up. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and show up, maybe they had an idiot answering their phone that day. Nope!!! I'm guessing he's the owner and trainer!! I show up with another adult and two teens who were ready to sign up for boxing classes. We step inside and the gym is empty, zero patrons and the guy says "Yeah what do you want". I told him that we were there to see the gym and talk about pricing and signing up. He just points to the empty gym and says "that's the gym", what else do you want. WTF?! Is this really happening. Still, I remained calm and asked to walk around, he says "yeah but don't touch anything!" very rudely. At that point I walk around and see that he has all the right basic equipment. However because of his shitty attitude, we decided to walk right out. No way am I paying $260 a month for two teens and $600 for 10 sessions with an asshole! If we were training and everything..... SURE talk shit to me and get me pissed off....but no way am I giving a complete douche bag my money. This is not how you do business, get business or deal with potential clients who pay you money!! I'd rather take shitty boxing classes at the gym than to give this turd any money!

Writing this review is long overdue, but I cannot recommend Kids World at Renaissance ClubSport…read moreenough! It has truly become our second family. The fact that the staff knows every single child and parent by name is amazing and creates such a welcoming environment. My son did the Leaping Learners program last year and thrived. He learned his colors, how to count, how to color, and how to write his letters. Beyond academics, he made close, wonderful friends in the class. The teachers are absolutely amazing, patient, and caring. The seasonal camps have been an absolute blessing. They offer unique, hands-on experiences that my son still talks about. He was able to pet farm animals, touch a snake, and learn all about music and outer space. He even learned how to swim over the summer thanks to their amazing coaches! If you have a toddler and are looking for a way to relax, workout, or just enjoy some self-care time, this is the place to be. The family membership includes up to 3 hours of childcare per day! This amenity is truly how I keep my sanity as a parent. I would recommend Kids World to anyone. It is worth every single penny!

Stayed here overnight and this hotel does NOT disappoint!…read more I came here a couple years earlier for an overnight stay, just like this trip I went on. Instead on this trip, I had a free room available in my account, which I wanted to redeem before expiring. First of all, the front desk people are very sweet and were very knowledgeable about the hotel and the amenities included. It was also around $35 for overnight parking, which I guess was okay considering I was only staying one night. The parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Couple of the reasons I came is for the swimming pool and the gym. It seems this is what the hotel revolves around; that and the kid care. Entering into the hotel room, it was super clean and very nice. They have a no-smoking policy in the room, which I love because certain hotels don't have that kind of policy and the rooms smells horrible. When I woke up in the morning, I had a view of the pool and spa. It seemed there was a class in the pool and it looked really fun and I didn't know they had classes. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to see the gym, but I will my next trip to this hotel. Next time I head to this hotel, I'll have more to review but for now, this is all I have to say. Thank you, Marriott!

After spending several years in club volleyball across multiple clubs in the San Gabriel Valley,,…read moreour family can honestly say that Stormbreaker has been the best overall club experience we've had. What makes Stormbreaker different is that it was specifically created to solve frustrations that parents and players commonly experience in club volleyball. One of the biggest issues in club volleyball is roster size. Many clubs carry 12-14 players, meaning some girls spend large portions of tournaments on the bench, players worry about being substituted out after mistakes, and teammates feel like competitors fighting for the same playing time. Stormbreaker intentionally keeps rosters smaller, typically around 9-10 players. The girls are not only on the court more often, but they have a defined role and purpose. They are part of every match and rotation rather than wondering if they will see the floor. That consistency allows players to develop confidence through real game experience instead of constantly worrying about being replaced. Another major difference is training volume. Most clubs provide two practices per week. Stormbreaker provides three, plus additional opportunities for clinics, scrimmages, and position-specific development. More touches, more repetitions, and more feedback lead to more growth. Practices are also structured differently. Stormbreaker often has multiple teams training simultaneously with four or more coaches actively involved. Athletes are divided into position groups. Setters with setting coaches, hitters with hitting coaches, liberos on defense and serve receive, middles on middle-specific skills. The specialized instruction and repetition the girls receive is dramatically higher than what we experienced elsewhere. Stormbreaker also has something most clubs don't offer: a dedicated strength and athletic development area called The Vault. The girls participate in structured conditioning sessions focused on athleticism, explosiveness, core strength, injury prevention, and volleyball-specific performance. We've personally watched players become stronger, jump higher, and gain confidence over a single season. We also appreciated that development was built into the club experience rather than requiring constant outside lessons. Between three practices, specialized coaching, strength training, clinics, and additional opportunities for extra reps, our daughter received far more development within the program itself than we experienced elsewhere. Stormbreaker is also not built around a single coach. Jonathan, the club director, is deeply involved and genuinely cares about players and families. He has invested tremendous time studying collegiate, Olympic, and high-level volleyball development systems so coaches work from a shared philosophy. Unlike many clubs where your experience depends almost entirely on one coach, Stormbreaker has worked to build a consistent developmental system. The goal is that players continue progressing regardless of which coach they have because the training philosophy, skill development priorities, and expectations are shared across the club. What impressed me most, however, is the culture. The emphasis is not only on volleyball skills but on character, confidence, resilience, leadership, and personal growth. The club's mission and core values show up in how coaches interact with players, how families support one another, and how girls are encouraged to grow as athletes and young people. Our own team faced plenty of challenges. We had players learning new positions, several first-year club athletes, and periods of instability that could have derailed development. Instead, we watched the girls improve dramatically. They became more skilled, more confident, more competitive, and more resilient. Our daughter gained meaningful court time, developed confidence, and grew more in a single season than we expected. More importantly, she genuinely looked forward to practices and finished the season loving the game even more than when she started. We've spoken with many families from other Stormbreaker teams, and our experience is not unique. Parents consistently share that their daughters improved more in one season than in previous years elsewhere. No club is perfect, and Stormbreaker is still growing. But it was intentionally built to address problems many families have simply accepted as normal in club volleyball. They created an environment where athletes can develop, compete, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy the game. For our family, the difference has been significant, and we are grateful for everything our daughter gained this season both on and off the court.
