We had a luncheon of retirees yesterday at Scott's. Food portions were large, and the food itself was great. Fast service and Tad was there when and where he was needed. Had breakfast with mom's the other morning and it was fantastic. I had the chicken fried steak with over medium Eggs and Hash browns with wheat toast .. mom's had the ham and eggs and hash-browns with wheat toast both Entrée were cooked perfectly and seasoned delicious. The service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. The cook also prepared are food very fast and it was fresh and hot. Also got to see the owner Scott Which is always a pleasure he stopped by our table to say hello and chat plus also checked to see if everything was good. Went to Scott's Diner for the first time and wow, we were truly amazed with how good everything was!!! From the food to the service, everything was excellent! The garlic fries are the best fries we've ever had. They're crunchy on the outside but still soft at the same time and so flavorful. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as well! The only thing I didn't really care for was the fruit and that's just because the melon wasn't ripe. That wasn't a big deal though. We're definitely going back!!! read more

Met a friend for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It's not much from the outside, but inside is random diner decor in the best sort of way! Service was incredibly fast and super attentive. I think our waiter's name was Tad. The portions were legit and tasted great. My veggie omelet came with a side of carbs, one option being a pancake! It was was huge. The prices were incredibly fair as well. In this pandemic-ish world, where staffing at restaurants can be tight, it was so so nice to receive such good service! I would absolutely come back and would recommend everyone give it a try! read more

First time here & not bad. When i asked about coffee, the waiter said they don't sell what I probably want and was surprised I was okay with black coffee. He was really friendly and funny So I didn't care for the comment. Service was great! I ordered the California Benny and overall really tasty! But because of its location, it's not an area I am around very often... but this morning, my friend brought it up, and we decided to try it... we went at about nine something this morning and they said we could have breakfast lunch or dinner, which is pretty awesome in my opinion... We both opted for breakfast, and they have many different things to choose from... Standard diner fare.... What we went with was they have an area where you can pick three items out of several options and my friend got biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and potatoes... I got scrambled eggs, fruit, and a funnel cake. Waffle... I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of it, but it was really good... The fruit was literally the best fruit I've had in a restaurant... Usually the melon and cantaloupe are really hard, but every single piece of fruit in there was really ripe... They had strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, melon, and bananas, and I absolutely loved it... The gravy is a basic country gravy, but it's very flavorful and I am more inclined to eat gravy with sausage in it, and they said even though they give it to you without meat, they are more than happy to add sausage or bacon chopped up into it if you prefer... The prices were great, and I saw the owner... when I saw him I recognized him right away as being the old manager of Black Bear diner for years.. I was really happy that he was able to open this place up... I will not hesitate to go back again... Don't be fooled by the historic Mi Casa sign out front. The sign on the building got me straightened out. Greeted at the door and friendly service. Its not fancy but I had been there when it was Mi Casa. Back then it was a solid Mexican restaurant. Scott's sell breakfast and apparently their whole menu all day. Works for me. Didn't have huevos rancheros on the menu but found out after they do serve it. Bummer, that's why I came their from the Yelp review. So if you go ask for what you really want you might get it. The owner Scott and his wife, Shareece hosts a clean,family friendly restaurant with outstanding service. My waitress, Josephine was a pleasure to have where she recommended fresh daily specials off the menu. Food was fresh and flavorful, I recommend trying the Green Huevos Rancheros and linguica plate. Came in after I saw a Facebook post. The place has a great atmosphere the inside feels so welcoming. Although when we ordered we asked for no pickles and for some curly fries: since the waiter suggested them. When my food arrived it was regular fries and it seemed to have extra pickles. The gentleman that brought my order acknowledge me and said didn't you order curly fries? and left. The waiter didn't come back to check up until I finished my order and asked if I wanted more coffee. Its a cool place WEIRD customer service.
