The worst possible boat rental experience ever. From the MISERABLE high school or college flunkie at the "desk" in the morning, who was AWFUL, to the mean spirited, equally miserable lady who couldn't handle negative comments at the end of our terrible rental, this was the WORST boat rental experience we have had. Oh and by the way kid, when you're tipped $20 you really shouldn't complain about hosing down some mud from a pontoon boat. Perhaps you need a reality check about cleaning up but the nasty "lady" (word used very loosely") - whatever issues about what you think of renters ( we are LOCAL professionals) you may need to work out. Because your interaction with the public should be SEVERELY limited. You're the meanest, nastiest "person" we have encountered in your community in quite some time. Took the kids fishing here this summer. We rented a small boat (cost was about $110 for 4 hours). The guy helping us out carried everything to our boat, got our bait for us, explained everything about how to run the boat and they even marked up for us a map where the best fishing spots are in the bay. We went out on a fairly windy day and were a bit late coming in, and with the low tide, the water disappeared in the bay. We were stranded about 40 yards from the dock, with the boat completely beached. Not only did they fetch us, they literally pushed the boat back to the dock over the sand bar. Never complained about it or give us a hard time. I apologized being a newbie and they just chuckled. We didn't do too well with the fishing, just a small nurse shark and a small fluke both throwbacks, but the kids had a blast. We'll be back again in May. read more

I was shocked to see a single negative review about this business. I've rented boats from here for several years and always had a great experience. There are some rules but that is to be expected when boating and safety is number one priority. In fact I've had such a great time I purchased a boat and docked it at Ray Scott's last season. I hope to get a spot here in the coming season. Robin and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me get acquainted to the waters. Again, I read the negative comments and I'm in complete shock. I wonder if there is more to the story and if it's a personal issue. I highly recommend Ray Scott's as long as you follow the rules and their policy. Lots of summer fun. read more

Always a fun time, I've been going to Ray Scott's Dock for almost 50 yrs (since I was a kid)... Everybody is always very polite, helpful and caring. Big shout out to Robin, Ray, Rachel and Vinny. We now normally come down in a group of 5 and always with my niece (now 14). She now talks about fishing all year long... We will there there tomorrow, My Niece, My Granddaughter, My buddy and his wonderful girlfriend... LET'S CATCH LOTS OF FISH!! read more

We took a private sunset cruise with friends and family and had the best time. From start to finish, it felt like the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. Captain Robin and her crew were friendly and attentive, the boat had everything we needed (including a bathroom), and the sound system kept the vibe going all night.
