As planned, a couple of weeks later they grinded down all 3 stumps and the day after they were back to haul away most of the grinding material. They left enough so I didn't have huge holes. It should settle down even further and I shouldn't need as much dirt brought in as I thought I would. The entire crew were experienced and cleaned up pretty well after each visit considering the mess trees make. I would use them again or suggest anyone else to use them. I was hoping to remove limb above neighbors side of fence to clear some space over their yard, as well as trim the tree away from the house. Once he got there Travis was kind enough to explain that cutting the limb away would likely hollow that bit out and that I'd probably get the desired result by simply trimming away the branches growing downwards along there. He also mentioned that he could do that and if I wanted more done could always do that after I saw it and decide from there. He came out to our home and determined that the best time to take the trees down would be when the ground was frozen. So a few months later that's exactly what he did.
