I accidentally locked my keys in my shed which apparently had a commercial grade handle/lock on it. I called Scottsdale Locksmithing and they got someone over within two hours. The man who came was so pleasant and nice! He got the door open in the blink of an eye (literally, I looked away for one second and it was open!). He tightened the door handle and showed me how to use the different settings on the door, like turning off the auto lock, so hopefully this doesn't happen again! I really appreciate him putting in the effort and being so nice considering it's not a fun position for me to be in. I had a new style door lock on my bathroom door. Somehow the door was locked when it shut. Usually I use a bobby pin to unlock it door but this lock didnt want to unlock. I called Scottsdale Locksmithing. Within 40 minutes of when the call was placed the guy was here. I wish they told me the price upfront because it was $120, just to pop open the door. I know they probably couldnt say because they had to see what was entailed. The guy was very nice and wore black Jean's and a tee shirt. He didnt have a mask on which I didnt like. On a Wednesday afternoon at 3:15 I realized the lock on my pool gate was broken...couldn't get into the pool area. By 3:30, after doing some quick searches for locksmiths, I got in contact with Leo at Scottsdale Locksmithing. He asked me to send him a picture of the lock via text. Within half an hour he called me back and said he could come the next morning and take a look, but suggested I might want to go to Home Depot and purchase a new one just in case the old one (very old) couldn't be fixed. If he could fix the existing lock, I could return the one I purchased. He even sent me prices of a comparable lock from Amazon and Home Depot! I explained my issue and the guy gave me a quote but then when he arrived he told me that I had told him something different and the price went up. Which I suppose it's fine but it was annoying the way he said I had told him I bought a key for him to program- because I definitely didn't tell him that. Lol At 3:30 he told me it would take ten min or so. At 5:00, both of us dripping sweat and me fighting tears he told me he was missing some sort of chip or somethingfor my specific key model and asked if he could run and grab it and come back or meet back up tomorrow. I just locked myself out of my apartment. Called and the gentleman said someone would head right over. I promptly received a call from the driver saying he was 25 minutes out. I was shocked and said "25 minutes?" The driver became irritated and yelled at me and then hung up. I called the dispatch number and told him to cancel my request because the driver hung up on me and I didn't appreciate that type of business. After that, the driver called me 4 times yelling at me about cancelling my request. Not good business practice and I would not recommend this company! read more
