The fish and shrimp were delicious but the eggplant that two of us ordered was not edible. The owner visited at the end of our meal where we shared the bad news about the eggplant dishes. He was very concerned that we had not had a good meal. He offered to cook up something else to make us happy. Of course we refused. He comped both of the eggplant dishes! He didn't have to do that but we appreciated it. Although this place was a disappointment, the owner's enthusiasm and commitment to great service and good food will bring us back for another try.

There was a wide range of ages from people in their early 20s enjoying a late meal to people in their 60s playing trivia. Tons of TVs, I enjoyed watching west coast baseball during my visit. Beer was cold, bartenders were friendly, I'd definitely like to return and get a bite to eat. Dagwoods certainly feels like a strong option for drink or food. I just wish they were open past 11 PM.

Went in a couple times at night and the music is loud and people are dancing around. There is also a large back area where they have live music. Decent place for a quick bite on the beach. Don't expect steaks, good deep fried bar food is on the menu, which was good! Cold beer, unfortunately poured right into a plastic cup from the bar. Cold cans at the grill area though. The bar was double packed, a few bar tables were open but really no room to walk anywhere once you've made it inside. It took a solid handful of minutes to get some beers ordered, but they were cold and cheap so can't complain! I love a good dive bar, and maybe the vibe would have been better if we were able to sit at the bar, but it was insanely loud and everyone seemed to know each other, prompting me to finish it up and go along in search of somewhere slightly more chill!
