Dive bar is an understatement! We walked in through a white non-descript door hoping for the entrance to the bar and were the center of attention, getting the immediate feeling of "you're not from around here". The bar was double packed, a few bar tables were open but really no room to walk anywhere once you've made it inside. It took a solid handful of minutes to get some beers ordered, but they were cold and cheap so can't complain! I love a good dive bar, and maybe the vibe would have been better if we were able to sit at the bar, but it was insanely loud and everyone seemed to know each other, prompting me to finish it up and go along in search of somewhere slightly more chill! read more

5 Star Dive Bar Review Up and down the coast of Myrtle Beach and this is the hidden gem of them all. You have to like going to bars and having a few pops to enjoy The Bar. A true dive bar with some of the funniest karaoke you'll ever experience. The clientele like to drink shots and they will pull you in to have them with you. The bartenders are wonderful, funny, and will throw a shot back with you too. This is a small place that hasn't been updated. Weirdly the bathrooms are updated. This is the best dive bar in all of Myrtle (North, Main, Seaside, Murrells). It's not really close. Always so much fun. Remember, you have to enjoy dive bars, funky clientele, and shots. Felt very welcomed and had a blast! Lots of local folks having a good time in an unpretentious, affordable watering hole. The "Little Mule" drink special was delicious - the bartender even added a bit of fresh ginger to give it extra kick. read more

Went in there a simple drink ordered 2 twisted teas and was told that we had to spend $10 to use a card. So we bought another one took here 5 mins to get the drinks. Then she kicked us out for not giving here a tip for opening a can. Do not recommend. read more

Best little local's bar ever. The owner is one of the best people . She does for the community and many charities. The bartenders all have a heart of gold and help everyone as well. Best location and prices. It has a unique local family flavor. . read more

This is by far the best bar in the area I love to go whenever Tina is working. If you love the Smokey bar atmosphere with fun people to talk to. If Tina is working she lights the place up with her great service and smile. She even sung karaoke with me while she was bartending. I wish I could give ten stars!!!! read more

Brought me back to my cocaine days from Miami without the pleasant party packages. May have had a better time with the pleasant party package but we were a little bit fearful of the strange man looming outside and the knowledge of the shoes on the powerlines out the back. From my experiences with sketchy places you will get lost or ralfed on, around this joint. read more

If it were possible to give this place less than one star, I would. The bartender was absolutely terrible. She was unbelievably rude and ruined our entire experience. Would never recommend this disgusting place to anyone. read more

This place blows it out of the water... literally! Epic karaoke performances on top of the overly hospitable bathroom attendant and beautiful hand painted palm trees in the ladies room that just make you feel at home! Efficient AC and great company! This place sucks as far as I'm concerned, my son got in a fight there and now they won't serve me because I am his father in which I had nothing to do with it. They need to get rid of the trouble makers and not the very generous customers! read more

This is one of the worst places to go, so many lawsuits for over serving customers. The smoke is awful, can't get a drink, and if you go outside you need to watch your yourself. Too many customers have been in the emergency room. And as for food, there is not a kitchen or a menu. read more

He didn't have to do that but we appreciated it. Although this place was a disappointment, the owner's enthusiasm and commitment to great service and good food will bring us back for another try.

Beer was cold, bartenders were friendly, I'd definitely like to return and get a bite to eat. Dagwoods certainly feels like a strong option for drink or food. I just wish they were open past 11 PM.

We did play a round and it was fun but too difficult to keep up with the game with an 8 and 11 year old. The crowd made service a little slower. But we would definitely come again!

This place is awesome and has a great environment, they have karaoke , bingo and even has a wii game . Not sure about the negative reviews but I don't see that there and I'm a local , the owners and the bartenders have always been very inviting to me and my friends . It's close to the beach so it's very convenient to go back and forth , not to mention they have great prices ! read more

This place is a dump! A hole in the wall that is stinking with smoke, music is blaring. On top of that got a want to be blonde yankee that shows her a** if you don't tip everytime you order a beverage. There are a lot better places to go on that end of the grand strand. The owner will sleep with any man that walks in. Any attractive bartender is fired because she doesn't like "competition" ... Run horribly. Rude staff. No food. About as big as a closet. All the electrical work is bad, don't try to use an outlet, you'll catch on fire. Biggest joke on garden city beach. read more
