We went here for an early dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised at all the great choices for dinner. They had a vast selection of craft beer on tap and I choose a local IPA called escape. It was fantastic and paired well with my dinner which was the fish and chips. My wife had her standard Michelob ultra and an Asian chicken salad. The best part of the experience was was the wonderful bartender named Jenna. She was very attentive to our needs and made the dining experience even better. Ask for her she'll take care of you, oh and by the way Jenna is my daughter and I was very proud of her she did a really good job. read more

You have to understand that this is a small pub/club house restaurant inside of a golf course gated community. This is not a big business operation because of its location. Saying that, the place is great. Good food, lots of beer and food options, comfortable seating, lots of TV's to watch games. Great service. Fish N chips excellent. What can you say. Great location, pretty good food, but the service is so so so inconsistent. We have been here 2 dozen times and at times it is like the staff checks out. Today, we arrived at 5:45pm with my family of four. There are exactly 27 people here including ourselves and it is 7:15pm and we are still waiting for our food. You really need to be very tired and dry after a game of golf to say anything positive about this place. Probably the worst place I have eaten in the last five years !!!! Atmosphere 75 Not bad. I stopped by here to meet some friends. I knew the owners from a previous location. This is a nice, homey place to sit and talk, drink or eat. I was quite surprised, for being a relatively small place, at how busy it was. Tables full of people laughing , chatting, drinking and eating. I did not eat , so can not speak to the food. Drinks were good and bartenders knew what they were doing and were on spot. Yes, I will return and try it out again. What's a girl to do? Gotta keep moving on to find the best of the best! read more

So after coming to this little "hole" three times, I figure a review is in order. They have recently renovated the lil Irish Golf Course Pub. It is open to the public and has daily 2-4-1 on drafts and house wines. Each time I've been here it's pretty quiet with locals that don't really "pay you any mind" unless you look lost. The bar is small but has added a nice courtyard and private party area for weddings and such. The have a few Irish staples with Smithwicks & Cider. The Blue Cheese Chips are good and they have typical other Irish staples as well as basic bar food. All in all, it's a small little Irish Pub that carries character where it can. read more

Nice non smoking pub with a screened in lanai for the smokers...the booths have a nice feel to them and the lighting is the perfect dimb... staff is friendly and helpful...very accomodat8ng.. Last time I was there they had a burger special that gave me a $11 burger for $6...and last but not least they always have plenty of Jameson. read more

AWESOME FOOD! Went here a little over a year ago and it was not up to par, although we heard that there is a NEW chef, (Dan) working there and so we went and gave it another try. It was WONDERFUL! What a difference! Very nice staff too and very friendly. We will definitely go back and recommend it to anyone wanting a casual meal close to Tarpon Springs. read more

We have been longtime Mulligans patrons and have seen a decline in both food and service. We recently tried it again on a Wednesday (which is "burger" night) and my wife's burger was undercooked (again). My main issue this time was the beer. I had ordered a Stella Artois which is usually served in a chalice. When I ordered a second Stella, it arrived in a much smaller chalice. When I asked the server why, she checked with the bartender and the answer was that is was the only glass that was clean. I would have expected an offer to replace it with the normal size chalice...but I was wrong. I later sent an email to their site raising this issue. I received a reply from the general manager Cliff LePoer, who stated that this was the only small glass in the inventory and they had removed it from service. Again, no effort to generate customer "goodwill". He also stated that the glasses they use are supplied by the distributor and are "33cl in size (about 15 oz)". In reality, 33cl is 11.16 oz., which is a far cry from the "Pint" that is itemized on the receipt. I raised this issue in a return email and have not received the courtesy of a reply. Mulligans advertises for new business but does not try to retain the customers it already has. read more

This pub was a bit confusing to get to because I hadn't noticed it was part of the golf building and behind it. But you'll know where it is when you see the green, white, and orange flag hanging from the side of the building. When I first stepped in with my family, we were waiting for someone to assist us. After awkwardly being there, we sat ourselves down. The interior is okay with corny beer quotes, there are outside seats that are really nice, and just right next door is really pretty dining place probably for events. Our waitress after we had waited a bit talking. To be honest, and I don't say this a lot, I didn't like the waitress. But it was probably because she was really busy that she couldn't have served us more. Our food got to us after a long bit.. The fried mushroom was good, but a bit cold. The food must have been sitting. We also ordered shepred's pie and nachos with beef (can't recall what it was actually called) The food was decent. After eating, we played pool which was right the other room for at least 4 rounds before heading home. From this one experience though, I am not willing to go back. The waitress was often busy and the food was slow. Not only did I get sick, the rest of my family also got sick after an hour or two of eating from their. It was probably because the food was sitting before the waitress could bring it to us. I'll just return for a couple rounds of pool. read more

Food & service is the worst EVER! If I could give them a negative ten I would. At first I thought that they must just be having a bad day, but after several experiences here nothing has improved. They cannot keep staff, they cannot keep a decent chef & the wait staff that they do keep is incompetent. Your food order is never complete. For example - I ordered a chicken salad and a coffee. He brings the salad without the chicken WTF? No set-up (silverware, napkins etc.) The coffee... no cream. No sugar. I tell the waiter I need silverware & sugar/creamer etc. He brings me a 'FORK'. No spoon, no knife, no napkin, no sugar and no creamer. So I tell him I need these things & he brings 1 sugar. ONE sugar. Still no cream, no spoon, no knife and no napkin... I hear people cater their special events with this people. I wish them better better luck. read more

Horrible. Just horrible. Food took forever...AGAIN. Forgot one of our meals. We have been here SOOO many times. And then when it was brought, it was supposed to be salmon. The salmon was white!!! White salmon? Come on! Said something to server who didnt offer to do anything about it. Complained to Mgr about our previous visit. He acted surprised to hear that we were unsatisfied. Assured us that it was a fluke. So, we tried. Again. Was even worse. The food sucks. Period. Yes, the servers are awesome. I stopped in for a glass of wine and was delighted with quality service, friendly conversation, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The wine was great, didn't partake in a meal, although next time I stop I will plan on eating, bringing my friends and of course...more wine. Attention management. This place has great potential in an area that really needs a decent pub. You need to seriously look at the service you are delivering. It is terrible! No one greeted us when we arrived and then we sat for 20 min without menus or a hello from anyone. You need a hostess and a bartender! Why are the servers doing everything???? No wonder they are so rude. After 20 min of waiting, we were greeted with "what do you want?" Seriously???? Our entrees were auctioned off at our table by a guy in a dirty T shirt...line cook? Busboy? Who knows. Your claim to fame is $5 burgers, great, everyone loves a cheap burger, but your business would really take off if you staffed your restaurant with some friendly, capable people and charged a fair price I believe you would generate more revenue and repeat customers. Any place can reel folks in with a cheap burger, it's your job to deliver great service when they walk through the door. read more

The food is better than good for pub food. The problem is with the service, or lack there of. My family and I have gone four times, due to it's close proximity to our house. Twice, the place was not crowded, yet the service was slow. The bartender was also responsible for being the wait staff/busser. Not very efficient. The third time was for a St Patrick's celebration. The place was packed! There is never anyone to seat you and when we found a seat we couldn't get service. After forty minutes, we went up to the bar to order drinks and to try to order food. After another thirty minute wait and no one taking our food order, we just left. The few wait staff were working hard, just not enough of them. The fourth (and probably final time) was for a school fundraiser. They were promoting $5 burgers. Again, grossly understaffed. 30 minutes before we were even asked if someone was helping us, and another 45 minutes to get our food. Seriously, 45 minutes for three burgers? If it wasn't for the school, we would have left. The food was good, but we didn't even want to order dessert, as it might take an hour. Oh, and our appetizer, spinach dip, came at the same time as our burgers, just saying. read more
