Bartender kinda acted like he was ticked off to be there during the wing competition. We kind joked it felt like Ed Debeviks and that insults were next. They weren't, but the vibe was there til a little bit later when he lightened up a bit. I don't know how to rate because I never got served. After being passed by the bartender four times and a waitress six times I left. The bar was 1/3 full and I sat there for 20 minutes and was not even acknowledged. The service was non-existent so a zero star would have been more appropriate. Who knows about the food. A group of six went to have your Monday haddock fish fry on 17 February. We realize it was a holiday and it was busy. The service was practically nonexistent. We had to wait at least 45 minutes for our fish fries. Our waitress was very busy with other tables and bartending. You needed more staff in the kitchen and servers. This was our first visit to Fitzgerald's. It will be one place we will be coming back to! My spouse ordered the Mulligan Stew with a Guiness Black and Tan. She really enjoyed her meal!! It was served with a nice large dinner roll. I ordered the Classic Reuben on grilled marbled rye. It had a very generous helping of corned beef. I chose the fries and the pickle. The fries were crisp yet meaty and the pickle was crunchy crisp! Wow! Was it delicious!! After our meal, we ordered the Chocolate Lava Torte to share. It was warm chocolate heaven covered with chocolate and caramel syrup decoratively adorning it with whipped cream mountains on each side. It absolutely melted in our mouths! She decided to wash it down with a Bailey's Irish Cream coffee topped with a dollop of whipped cream. What a wonderful meal! We will definitely be coming back here when we are in this area!! We were waited on by Koral and she and the bartender Megan checked on us frequently. Mike came out from the kitchen to make sure that we were happy with the food. Went there with a friend for his birthday party. We had a large group around 15 of us were there. We were taken to what was a dining room that felt private and was perfect for our group. Mike, bartender, has treated me with zero respect and has refused to serve me ... for no reason at all. ive considered this to be my neighborhood bar and Have enjoyed going there on a weekly basis if not more for years and years. Mike has ruined this for me ... I was there tonight and he ignored me even though he was in front of me at the bar The whole time. I was never served at all. i will only order drinks & food from Tara or Scotty moving forward, if I even go in the bar again. Excellent service; went on a Saturday night and it was slightly crowded but the waitresses was very attentive. The drinks were pretty strong; I just did vodka on the rocks and only needed one. The atmosphere was pretty neat too. The lighting was excellent, the music was a good volume (not too loud), and there wasn't a smoky smell or anything. There was a jukebox, which was fun to play around with but we had to wait a while to hear the songs we picked. We stayed up at the bar and did not see what all was in the back room. It looked very tiny, but later we found out there's a whole back area hidden from street view. We grabbed the only table left. The waiter took our drink order and gave us some menus. My husband decided to try the fish and chips, and I got the special that night, which was blackened mahi over rice topped with mango salsa. My husband's was just okay, but mine was very tasty. The waiter was very friendly and stayed on top of our needs. My husband tried a blueberry martini. It was very good, but we had sticker shock when the bill came, as it was $10.50! My best friend from High School and I stopped in a Fitzgerald's Irish Pub to spend some time before our 40th High School Reunion Dinner. I had a Half and Half. A half and half is made with Guinness and Harps Lager. They didn't have Bass Ale on tap for a Black and Tan, which is what I ordered. Trish made sure to inform me of what I could get, as you know these Irish pubs (at least the authentic ones) are very particular on their beers and nomenclature. The Half and Half was excellent and presented expertly. I also had the Sam Adams Summer Ale, which is one of my favorites; it is flavored with lemon zest and "Grains of Paradise," which a rare pepper from Africa... It is absolutely delicious; and, so refreshing. My friend had 3 bottles of Michelob Ultra. Trish was very efficient, not overly friendly; the bar was doing a good business; but, it wasn't very busy. We thought about sitting outside; but, honestly, it was just too hot. Compared to Orlando, prices were great, so I left a tip of about 30%, as we sat at the bar for about 2 hours. read more

The portions are perfect it's not overkill and it's not under kill. the price point is ideal for the location. The inside is dark outside They have a large area with tables and umbrellas and the the inside of the bar (reminds me) of a long galley kitchen where it's just a long bar and narrow room also inside there are about 5 high top tables and about 15 to 20 seats at the bar. Staff is excellent and attentive. My fiancé and I had gotten their roast beef sandwich that we split with aus jou sauce and their signature fries which are kind a like a waffle fry. the food was fantastic I definitely go back and we have.
