This was my first time ever attending a Haunted House themed attraction and I was definitely not disappointed. It was so entertaining and sort of spooky. The first house was clown themed. Personally, I have never been afraid of clowns. However, if I was, I think this would have freaked me out. Next we did the "Black Pool" prison - themed, interactive house. My guest and I chose to wear the glow necklaces which enabled the inmates to grab us and make us part of the show. I had someone grab me when I didn't expect it. I screamed pretty loudly. It was a bit scary for sure! Next, we did the "Dead House" which was a walk through the woods where you enter about six mini haunted houses. Although the path was slightly illuminated, it was still pretty spooky. In one of the houses, someone came out of nowhere and made me scream again. Our next event was the Haunted Hayride which was my favorite! Riding through the woods in a wagon filled with hay under a full moon definitely lent an eerie feel to the ride. There were some very spooky scenes and people were coming out of nowhere and grabbing the people on the outside edges of the wagon. One lady kept screaming her head off because they kept scaring her so badly. Last, but, not least was the interactive Infected House, which was filled with zombies wielding chain saws and medical tools which were used to torture the "guests" with. I was definitely a little tripped out when they took my partner and made him a part of the show which left me to wander around on my own. They were also playing some pretty cool music. They had bonfires to help keep the bugs away and for people to make smores over. There was some pretty freaky creatures roaming the crowd and scaring the beejezus out of people. Also, they had beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food, photo takers, characteur artists, and souvenir stands. Located in Dade City, this was a pretty cool event, and it was definitely worth the drive. Let me start out by saying I have been here three times prior to 2021. Unfortunately, 2021 will likely be my last time. The only thing scary this year was the drastic increase in prices. I went here prior because it was so much better than Busch Gardens. This year was absolutely horrible. There was hardly anyone in the haunted houses. They got rid of the haunted hay ride and they changed the deep woods house to rated PG. Stick to what made you different in the past. I certainly didn't come here for the clean restrooms and wonderful food in years past. Now the one thing you had, a true haunted house experience, is nothing more than a community church haunted house for 2021. read more

As a regular scare seeker, this place blew my expectations away! My best friend and I had spent the past 4 years visiting The Shallow Grave as our favorite local scare, but they were unfortunately closed this year due to issues with their landlord and county. So we found Scream-A-Geddon and figured we'd give it a try since they can touch you here. Needless to say, "touch" is an understatement. They have 5 haunted houses with 2 of them being "interactive." What this means is, you wear a glowstick when you enter the house to tell the scaractors that you want them to "interact/touch" you. I originally thought the interacting would be a light graze or a weak grab, but I was wrong! In the Jail house, you get man handled and shoved around! Forced into jail cells and screamed at! It was so intense and blew my expectations away. You go in the house in a group of 4-6 and you're pretty much split up right away. The 2 interactive houses aren't your standard "one straight line" house. They have transition hallways to the next section and you can go multiple ways through the house. My best friend and I got separated multiple times and loved exchanging stories about what we experienced. The other 3 non-interactive houses are excellent as well! You can really tell there's passion put into this event. They have a few food vendors and a beer truck set up. The whole event looks like it takes place at an abandoned midway in the middle of the woods. This is a must visit if you're looking for some top notch scares that aren't as soul-less as Horror nights. read more

This more than lived up to my expectations. The bf and I most enjoyed the hayride and the 3-D house. The main area had 4 bonfires keeping bugs away and also being used for roasting marshmallows to make s'mores!!! We had a lot of fun people watching as there were some nefarious characters just stirring things up. I'm not big into haunted houses but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Tip: Having the fast pass is a must if you don't like long lines! There are five different haunted houses to pick from. The first one we chose was interactive. This means if you choose to wear a glow stick necklaces around your neck you give permission to become part of the show. The actors are allowed to touch you and even separate you from your group. I did not choose this option at first. I love how they kept the group separated so you don't see what was going on ahead of the group. This is a huge advantage over Howl-O-Scream and Halloween Horror Nights. We did the other haunted houses and have a lot of fun. The last one we chose to do was once again interactive. This time I was feeling a little braver and decided to wear the necklace. It was so much more fun I regretted not doing it for the first one. They only separate you from your group for a small amount of time. The actors only touch you on the shoulders or back. They're not aggressive and at no time did I feel threatened. It really made it so much more fun! They do serve some food and beer and wine but be ready to pay Raymond James Stadium prices. $8.00 Budweiser $10 a Premium beer. All and all we had a really good time. I purchased 21 tickets, parking passes and VIP passes for my whole company to go to this event. After the third haunted house, the security guards pulled aside one of my employees and her fiancé aside accusing him of touching one of your characters in the attraction twice. The character never came out of the attraction to identify that this was the actual person. Instead the security demanded that he leave the park. A manager was requested and your security told them they would have to wait until the end of the event to talk to someone. It was 8:45 pm when that occurred and the event doesnt end until 1am, so that's ridiculous. Neither of them had been drinking and they were extremely corporative. There were 6 people walking together and no one else was stopped. The two were holding hands the entire time through the attraction. I personally know both of them and they would never become aggressive with anyone. Screamaggedon's security got this completely wrong and Its a shame their staff had to ruin this event for us after spending over $2000 from my employees to come and have a good time. We will never come back and I definitely will not recommend this to any of my other business owner friends and clients. read more

For what you pay, it's not worth it. My friends and I paid to get in and were beyond excited because we live for Halloween and all of the "haunted attractions" that come with it. Upon arrival the security guard was very rude to my friend who simply didn't know he was there to check bags. We brushed his attitude off and were still beyond excited to go through 4 attractions and on one hayride. We got in line for the first attraction and waited about 15 minutes and hadn't moved but two or three steps. At the rate we were moving, we wouldn't have gotten into the house until an hour later. So we decided to buy VIP. BIG mistake. With VIP you only gain access to each attraction one time even though you essentially pay the price of an entire admission for it. Total my friend spent $80 and I spent $120 because someone in our group couldn't afford the upcharge so I bought their VIP as well as my own. We started at Blackpool Prison, and FLEW through the line. In comparison to general admission, VIP is much faster. My friend and I decided to "mark ourselves" because we aren't very easily scared. I was nervous when it was almost our turn because I was like "wow I'm literally saying I don't mind being touched/shoved around." However, that fear quickly melted away when we got into the house. I was almost immediately yanked away from my group which I thought was funny. I was pinned up against a wall and watched my friends pass by through cell bars. To me though, it wasn't scary. I honestly laughed from that moment all the way through the rest of the house. I think some of the actors were great and some just had no clue what was going on. Blackpool was honestly the best of the attractions which isn't saying anything really. The others were very bland. My friend ended up tripping in the "Dead Woods" attraction and face planting because they give you a glow stick as your light source and there's logs along the trail that have fake tea candles in them. So that was the highlight of the entire night because I almost pissed my pants laughing so hard. The hayride was a joke, the infected attraction had some of the worst acting I've ever seen in my entire life aside from a man that was making a freaky snarling noise in our ears and tickled us which was... well funny to be quite honest. The staff was rude as you could tell they were mostly just teenagers who didn't want to be there. It was all just a huge let down. I don't like to complain about things but when I pay $120 and drive 2 hours from Orlando in hopes of soiling myself in fear, it's just quite disappointing. I would suggest Howl-o-Scream which is essentially the same price but at least you get the iconic attractions the park offers during the day, plus the houses for the event. This is hands down my new favorite Halloween attraction! I honestly don't know if I even want to return to the theme park haunted houses ever again after experiencing Scream-A-Geddon. It is certainly worth the trip to the middle of nowhere. Speaking of the trip to the middle of nowhere, it was uber creepy driving to this location. We stopped in Land O Lakes on our way up for dinner. So, our route was a little more rural than if you hit it straight off of 75, but it was DARK and eerie for sure on the one way roads without lights. A few quick tips --the property is DARK and also MUDDY. Wear gym shoes that you don't mind getting covered in mud and can run in. Also wear comfortable clothes. -avoid rainy nights, or even nights right after it has been raining if possible (see above tip) -bring $10 for parking. They do take card inside, but I think you need cash for parking -wear BUG SPRAY or at least bracelets..you are literally in the woods for parts of S-A-G -pee on the way if you can - port-o-potty's on premises -take screen shots of the map on your app before you loose your signal..it is literally in the middle of nowhere and I couldn't get signal -wear the glowing necklace! S-A-G has 6 attractions this year according to their website. Honestly, it should say 5 since the Monster Midway is not really an attraction. It is a few vendors and a cool campground setting with fireplaces and picnic tables. Then, there is the Cursed Hayride and the four houses/mazes. Those four mazes are some of the best houses I have EVER been in. I honestly can't pick a favorite either. They are so well done! It should be noted that there are two major things they do right here at S-A-G that the theme parks do wrong: 1) The mazes/houses are DARK 2) They space people out so that you are only experiencing the house with your group and not with others around. You will truly be scared here! Here is what I thought of the 5 attractions. -Cursed Hayride - I wasn't a huge fan. This is partially because I was really uncomfortable and partially because I was sitting with my back to the entire attraction. You sit in a flatbed of Hay with crossed legs and 40 or so people packed in to the same ride as you. The hayride then went through some cool scenery with spooky things going on. However, it kind of missed the mark for me. Again, this could be because of the two reasons above. I thought there was too much "flash" (or in this case fire) and too many gaps in entertainment. It was the only part of S-A-G that disappointed me. THE HOUSES/MAZES: -Pandemic: This is an interactive house. What does that mean? You choose: 1) glow necklace which gives them the right to touch you and pull you away from your group or 2) be a wuss and don't wear the necklace and watch those with the necklace have all the fun. Don't worry about being separated from your group, you get pushed into other rooms and stuff, but it isn't far from the other people and you definitely won't care at that point. Some people in the house are trying to help you, others are not. It can be hard to tell the difference and you may find yourself back towards the front of the house or in a room you have already been in. There are different ways to go and it is SO MUCH FUN. I actually ran a lot in this house. I was also forced into a dentist's chair at one point. You have to experience this and see if you can escape. Make sure you wear the necklace! I RAN a lot in this maze (for the record: I am not a runner! At all). -Infected: The only "zombie" type maze that I have ever actually enjoyed. These are more like diseased zombies. There are some alive, some bodies and some that appear to be dead until you are close by. You also have to walk through an outdoor maze that involves some fun elements like an abandoned and dark school bus before you even arrive at the house. I may have ran a little in this one too. -Dead Woods: You are given a glow stick and sent on a very creepy walk through the pitch black woods in a pair. Whomever holds the glow stick will draw unwanted attention. Proceed with caution. I had a hard time even seeing the path and had to have the Hubby tell me which way to go. Plus, chainsaws. Lot's of fun! I totally ran out of the woods and abandoned my Husband at the end of this one. I thought we were done, but we weren't. Oh, we so weren't. -Bedlam 3D: This is the artistic, 3D, Neon house with quite a few surprises. This is a must. If you are afraid of clowns and wanting to avoid it, I suggest you suck it up and do it anyhow. There aren't too many clowns and the rest of the house is definitely worth it. This house was not really scary for me (although I did yipe at one surprise that I am not going to share), but it was highly visually appealing. You start off in a hall of skulls from floor to ceiling that are painted in different colors and jumping out at you. Like all the houses at S-A-G, I left this house very happy and smiling. We visited in mid-October. Our group of 5 was both a mix of enthusiastic and reluctant but by the end of the night, I think everyone was really, really happy we came! Parking is $10. No biggie; pretty standard. They have beer and wine and other carnival food, so bring extra cash! I would highly, highly recommend the fast passes. Although it doubles your price, it cut our wait times more than in half. Being older, I just don't have the patience to spend hours of my night waiting in line. So spend the money! It's worth it! For the love of all things that are holy no matter how scared you are, participate in the interactive portions of the event! It completely enhances the experience and definitely makes the night better. Take bugspray!! It's in the woods and if it happens to be warm, you'll definitely need it! I won't give away any other details and the attraction changes from year to year anyway, so you don't need the details. Tonight was our first visit here. Paid $70 each person for VIP tickets plus $10 for parking. Got through all 5 attractions in less than 1 1/2 hrs. It was nice skipping the lines cause I would have been pissed if I waited hours for these attractions. I'm easily scared but this place didn't do it for me. The interactive ones aren't really interactive. Just light touches on your arms and guiding you different directions than your group. At one point it started down pouring raining and instead of people walking through the attraction they stood there and held up the rest of people. The guests were more scared of the rain. We had to push through people to get through which messed up the scares. I wanted to get scared and that's not what I got. I guess I'm still on the look out for an actual scary experience. read more

I was there Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Quality of the haunts was great and definitely a bang for your buck. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the logistics. First, the cons - again, all logistics and planning. (1) I arrived on the street at 8pm - there was a huge line of cars waiting to park and only 2 people taking money. Took me close to 25 mins to get through the line. (2) From what I could see (and I looked) there was only 1 place serving alcohol, and 1 place serving waters and soda - both lines were huge. (3) At the beginning of the night the port-o-potties were clean and well-stocked. I even saw a man frequently adding more TP. By the end of the night, the ladies port-o-potties were completely out of TP and both portable sinks were without towels for drying your hands. That being said, they really did a great job with the scares. I didn't make it to the Deadly Woods, which many people said was the best - it was past midnight, I was tired, and was concerned I wouldn't get to the front of the line before closing time. However, I went through the 3 houses and the hayride and really enjoyed them all. I didn't get a VIP pass and the lines weren't too bad, even for a Saturday. Plus, knowing that they spaced out groups, I didn't mind waiting a bit longer. I personally screamed more here than at Howl-O-Scream, which I visited a couple nights before. Surprisingly, Bedlam 3D gave me the most screams, so extra kudos. For me, the Cursed Hayride was the least scary, but still really awesome in the level of detail that went into it. I did wear the glow necklace in Infected to signify that it was ok to "touch" me. Keep your wits about you here - a couple of the scare actors gave me a little shove into a hallway, which I thought was a room, and I went headfirst into the wall. No harm done, I laughed hysterically, but it could've been bad. Overall, I'd really recommend it and will definitely be back next year. read more

From the moment you pull up to a field in the middle of nowhere in Dade City, you get the feel of a Halloween attraction that is not the corporate feel. I expected lights and flashy stuff, but it was dark, dirty, and down right felt real. Huge positive! Buy the VIP passes, def worth it. You will wait in line for upwards of an hour if not. They serve food, wine, and beer. You can use a debit card to purchase anything except for the $10 parking. Gen admission is like $27 and VIP is $47. These haunted houses are great! Better than those corporate based ones that have way too many people moving through them at one time. There are 4 haunted houses and 1 haunted hay ride. 2 of the haunted houses are interactive, which means you have 2 choices before you go in. Either accept the glow stick necklace and allow the actors to touch you and pull you away from your group, making for an amazing scary experience or decline the necklace and move through as a spectator. You can always choose the necklace and if it's too much for you, then you can just take it off and the actors will leave you alone. So much fun though! My favorite haunted house was Black Pool Prison. Jail cells and crazy barbers and stuff! I was stuck in jail for like 10 mins and they wouldn't let me out. Love it! My idiot cousin made the mistake of saying nothing scares him before we went in and the manager heard him. She followed us through ensuring every sections actors took it out on us! The 3D one was awesome too! At one point a female clown actress told us to hurry hurry into this tiny room. She crammed 4 of us in there and we were like where do we go? Why are we in this room? She replied, hahaha I just wanted to stick you all in here! Wow! The other interactive one was called Infected. It was awesome too, just not as scary as the prison one. This place was a great scare and I enjoyed each and every venue. They had 5 venues and each was unique in its own way. The best one that I liked the most was the Dead Woods trail. That by far was the best one out of the all the venues that I enjoyed the most because I was actually legitimately scared and ran! Lol. The only venue to make me do that. It's also extra creepy because you're surrounded by woods. I liked it much better than any of the theme park halloween houses, and I've been to both. I recommend wearing the glow necklace as this is a more enhanced interaction in the haunted houses where they will actually grab you and move you into other rooms away from your group. This year they no longer have the hay ride but have changed it out with a bus ride where you shoot zombies with paint ball gun. We really had a great time here! The lines were not that bad, especially for a holiday weekend. I think the waiting in line is part of the excitement, anticipation and experience. Our favorite was Rage 3D for the originality. Demons Revenge was also pretty awesome with some really cool ideas. Deadwoods was really cool too. We enjoyed all of them. First time going, thoroughly impressed! Def worth the extra miry for the fast pass though! We've gone every year since this opened and this year was our last. They have become wayyy to money hungry. The admission price keeps going up and the quality of the house and actors keep going down. We bought our tickets online, and paid for the extra paintballs to do the zombie paintball. Rip off because when everyone loaded the bus, every person was handed the same handful of paintballs. Hmmm. Where to start... well, lets begin with parking, it costs ten bucks, this was an unexpected downer considering I just purchased tickets from their websites that included a fee for purchasing said ticket, but whatever, I wanted to check this place out. So, two tickets for a Thursday evening plus parking was around $87.50. The place was pretty creepy in a quaint way. It is in the middle of no where and the employees have a real life Deliverance feel. They have like 5 haunted houses you get access to with general admission and then there are a few add-ons. Additional cash will get you ax throwing, bb-gun game, etc. One disturbing add-on is paintball. You get into a bus and shoot paintballs at paid performers, this was the saddest thing I have ever seen. They should do away with this as it is a little sick. Okay, so the beers are crazy priced at $15 and change for a 24oz. You can also buy a tall boy Bud Heavy for $8 and change. I feel like everything is serval bucks high. They have fire pits, but none of the fires were properly lit. The idea behind this is really cool and location is perfect, but the people running the show seem just a little too slow. On the positive side, most the houses are amazing. They are well done with lots of turns, which allows for legitimate scares. There are smoke machines and good lighting all over the place that really make the place feel eerie. Only one problem, lines are fucking long, and if you buy a VIP pass you basically skip all the general admission folks until the VIP line is empty. So yeah... don't buy the general admission pass (VIP pass is $50.00) They do this on purpose, because I saw several signs indicating you can upgrade to VIP, which was really tempting. One more bad part is they don't really separate you by party, so you may be in a group and the people up front get the bulk of the scares, I'd rather wait another 5 minutes and be with my group and not some slack jaw'd locals. This place has a ton of potential. I think a little less greed and some more thought about how to ensure guests have an awesome time would make this place really worth while. Right now I would say it is good if you are a teenage trash and you want a place to hang out and smoke cigarettes all night. My favorite part of the night was waiting in line for Blackpool prison behind a family of four consisting of a Father, Mother, Teenaged boy, and adolescent girl. The girl babbles on for 30 minutes in line to her Ma and Pa about how much fun this is going to be and how she isn't scared only to get to the entry and break down crying saying "I can't do this", only to run away. Finally a haunted amusement that can hold a flame to Howl-o-Scream and Halloween Horror nights! After a relatively easy ride there, be prepared to park off road (gravel and grass parking for the event.) the attraction was very well executed and easily navigable to a first time guest with 5 haunted house features and the common area with carnival type games and food (You MUST try the Zombie paintball!!!) Prices were affordable (typical fairground prices) and they even had a beer truck on site for those 21+! Overall this is a great Halloween activity that I'm sure will become tradition for my friends and I. read more

Worst experience ever. Paid 40 bucks general admission ticket to only see one haunted house after waiting in line for an hour and 20 minutes. They close at 11? They only stay open til 1 am like two nights a week an employee told us. Anyway, we got into the haunted house finally and it was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. We were in there for a totally of probably 5 minutes and I didn't even scream and I'm like this small little easily frightened 19 year old girl who screams when her friends hide behind the door and scream "BOO!". It was sad. It was nothing but a bunch of people trying to jump scare you and they didn't even do that part well. Not only that but I couldn't see a security guard anywhere, and they could really use some considering I watched a group of 7 or 8 teens totally skip a huge section of the line by going under the rope when they thought no one was paying attention, but they definitely noticed me watch them do it. Then this girl and her boyfriend in that same friend group were still trying to put on some weird show and slink past me. Yeah, that was the biggest rip off I think I've ever wasted my money on. Tampa is kinda big city but this event definitely gave it a small town feel. To set the Halloween theme, We went on a a full moon night. Just driving up, I felt like one of the extras on Vampire Diaries, about to get my neck chewed out 5 min into the scene. Anyways, it was $10 for parking (cards accepted), and we got the VIP tickets (totally worth it if you want to skip the lines, especially for the hay ride). It was like a theme park, complete with drinks (beer and canned spritzy margaritas), games, campfires, random costumed people following you around. The place was much larger than I had expected and there were like 3 different themed haunted houses, a hay ride, and a walk through the forest. I mean the attention to detail here was amazing! The characters did an amazing job at trying to scare everyone, which if you think about, can can tedious considering they're literally doing it every 20 seconds. And I gotta admit, I did scream my lungs out quite a few times haha! I went here Monday night Oct 5th with three of my friends. After the second haunted house I was stopped by security and they said that people had "reported' me for running in the houses, (which I definitely didn't do) and hitting the actors, (also would never lol). I got fake blood all over a white jacket because the actors were touching me and wouldn't let be get back with my group. This place is definitely not worth the ticket price and the hassle. Literally will never go back because of the rude staff and insane prices. I wouldn't recommend this back wood establishment. read more

This is the best horror park I have ever been to. They had me screaming before I even got into the first attraction. The lines weren't bad and we went through some of the attractions multiple times. There was a good variety of themes and the costumes were incredible at each. Good fun and scares for all! read more

I'm sending this email because of a situation that happened inside your attraction. I came with 3 other friends and myself, we entered the park and went to the first haunted house. On our way to the second one we were approached by security whom accused my friend of striking an actor (he fit the description) needless to say we were appalled. They found out it was nothing to do with us and let us go, we went to the line for the second attraction and they came and escorted us out the said my friend Lamont was acting "out of control". Needless to say I am so disappointed that your are to run an establishment that group people in by skin color as well as to avoid a complaint try to get rid of us. I spoke with a manager who said there was nothing she can do, and asked for the GM at the box office. The box office manager Aniera said he would be right up and the security asked us to leave. I went back to the box office whom said the GM is on the way and again security asked us to leave. It's not about money at this point, which by we were not able to get back, it's about the racist actions of the people you have here when you are not. Being an avid Halloween event goer, this is now one event that's on the top of my list. Although it's not as high budget at Halloween Horror Nights or Howl o scream, it's still very good and quite different than the other two. For one, it's in the middle of an unmonitored forest which definitely sets the mood better than Halloween Horror nights and Howl o scream. For all the houses that they offer, guest are spaced out in maximum groups of 4-5 which makes it more scarier than other events where you are packed in like cattle in a slaughter house. The best part of the houses are the interactive ones, where you strap a glow necklace around your neck indicating that the scare employees can touch you! I was grabbed away from my group and manhandled into faux jail cells, dentist chairs, and even a small boiler room! My other friends had different interactive experiences such as being placed in a body bag and terrorized and being thrown into a barber chair and having their head shaved (all fake of course). It definitely raises the scare level up a notch and offers something that the other Halloween events do not have. I would highly recommend this event. The eeriness of the forest with the unique interactives of the houses set this Halloween event apart from the rest! Only thing I would like to see next year are more alcohol options. read more

For being the new kid on the block in the Haunted House arena, SAG was pretty good. The drive itself was eerie through the back roads. Fill up with gas before you head out. The ground was muddy, but they had hay on the ground, so not too bad. Wear sneakers as it can be slippery with flip flops. They do need to cut the grass on the way to the entrance. We started in the Woods ... scary!!! I actually ran from zombies through the houses. Husband made startled sounds. The hayride was a bit uncomfortable, as we had to sit on hay as there was no real seating. The little town we drove through was awesome. Pandemic was interactive and we chickened out of getting involved because of the stories we heard on line. Next time, we'll participate. They do need to let more people in so it becomes scarier and you can witness the "surgeries".... Bedlam was a 3D experience.... really awesome! Infected was scary, esp. as you walk through hanging "human body parts". All in all it was worth the drive. I think that this place has great potential for the future. I hope they lower the price as this will bring more people. I hope it becomes successful. Go support them and you will have lots of fun. read more

We had a really good time tonight, this was our second time going this season and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good haunted house/attraction.
