I took my phone to have the screen repaired for the first time and I dealt directly with Nate the owner, and he did the repair. About 6 months later, the power button stopped working and the battery life was bad. Went back to Nate at ScreenFixing and he simply told me, without even looking at it, to buy a new phone. I ended up fixing my own phone, only to discover the original battery had been harvested, missing screws and stripped screws and a bracket for the battery just floating around. They did a good job. It's been two weeks and my laptop is working fine. I had the battery replaced because it was swelling. I would have given a 5 except I was quoted a price, told I had to pay for the battery upfront and once the work was complete I would pay the balance or the labor. I received a receipt the first time stating the total what I paid and what my balance was. My daughter went to pick it up, I told her what the balance was but she ended up paying about $10 more. When I called I was told it was taxes, which was confusing because you would have thought that was included in the total balance. Other than that it was a great experience and would still recommend just make sure you ask if the quote includes taxes and everything. read more

Nate is very well known at Midway Pub, where he can be found almost every day, fixing shattered iPhones! A fixture in the East Atlanta Village neighborhood where he lives with his family, he has fixed my phone, as well as about 7 of my friends' phones. It only takes him about 25 minutes (depending on the fix) and he's a really nice guy to have a beer with while he's working on the phone. His rates are great and cheaper than getting a new phone (which is what the Apple store will tell you to do). He deserves all 5 stars, but apparently he has too many "good reviews", so Yelp thinks it is spam. Therefore, I am giving him 4 for this reason only. read more

Nate fixed my mom's phone two years ago ... today it was my turn. I dropped my iPhone 5S on its face about 9:30 this morning, visited The MiRL outside of The Midway Pub just after noon and Nate had me ready to go by just after 1. While he was working on my phone I went and had lunch at The Flatiron, then hung out in The MiRL watching TV while he finished up. It's super-convenient for me since I live in East Atlanta, but even if you're coming from some other part of town being able to drop your phone with Nate and go off for lunch or drinks or whatever in the Village is a pretty sweet deal. My phone recently stopped charging. It appeared to me to be a charging port problem and I knew I also needed a new battery. I went to the Apple Store in Perimeter Mall. I was told to come back in 2.5 hours and someone would talk to me. When I went back, the associate told me I had to buy a new phone and presented me with a bunch of pricey options. I've only had my phone for 2 years and would like to get another 2 years out of it. These phones are EXPENSIVE. But Apple seems to think we should all buy one every year. Excellent work and very fairly-priced. The screen on my iPhone 5C was cracked, so I took it up to Nate and he had it fixed in 15 minutes (if that). This is the second time I've had to replace the screen on this phone, and Nate was $50 LESS expensive than the other place I'd gone to, and I'm pretty sure that he's cheaper than others around Atlanta. Hopefully I won't need to go back to him anytime soon, but if I do, at least I'll know that I'm getting great service. read more

Nate is fantastic! We're always breaking something and he's great with fixing whatever our problems are - and with two teenagers and a clumsy mother there have been plenty of problems.
