I had not anticipating the high price quoted to me for replacing four windows. Since I had scheduled another appointment the following day, I called early hoping to catch GHR before a representative arrived at my home. When I explained to Aaron my situation of not wanting to spend so much money on replacement windows, he told me he could do much better than the price I had been quoted. I signed a contract with him that day. The windows are triple pane and the color matches closely to the windows replaced. I am fully satisfied with the windows and pleased that he was able to save me a significant amount of money. E Twigg 10/16/24

As of January 5th, we are still waiting for Windows, while our house sits open to the winter weather. It seems the windows were finally put on a truck December 16th.... and even though the truck didn't arrive in SC, no one at Neelys could been bothered to track the shipment. We finally contacted Marvin ourselves yesterday. They did a little research and found out that the truck broke down and the windows were returned back to their warehouse where they've been sitting since the 17th of December. As I write this, I still cannot get Marvin Windows or Neelys doors and windows to give us a tracking number or a delivery date. I would never do business with Neely's or Marvin again. Once we selected one then we would get an estimate for the whole house. Then also said they would give us addresses for windows in the area so we could see them in person the different types on older homes like ours. Never heard from them. Have send 2 emails back now and nothing. I guess they don't want someone using a local business. Will have to go with a big window company as they are the ones giving me estimates and service promptly.

Michael Sharpe, the owner, was honest about what I actually needed and never tried to upsell or use any high-pressure sales tactics. His price was very fair, and he took the time to explain everything so I felt confident in my decision.[yelp +2] The installation team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and the finished windows and doors look beautiful--truly beyond my expectations. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. If you need windows or doors replaced, make sure you call Window Source of Augusta. You'll be glad you did--this is a company you can trust with your home.

We chose The Window Source of Augusta, and a top-of-the-line Provia Signet fiberglass door. -- The Window Source of Augusta is an authorized dealer of Provia doors, which was a factor in our decision. - Michael and Steven came out to the house a couple times, and were patient and not pushy while I was tweaking the right choice of door and color scheme. - The door from Provia arrived about a month after it was ordered, and we are quite pleased with the new entry door we chose. The cherry fiberglass color we chose perfectly compliments the red brick of our home. Michael provided a lot of input into the design and kept in touch with us throughout the entire process and we are quite pleased with the overall door purchase and installation process!

Once dry, this left a visible jagged border along the ceiling lines, corners, under the railing, and into the family room at the bottom of the stairs. Apparently, the original gallon and the new gallon weren't mixed together for this project, so the tints were slightly off. So, the original work wasn't satisfactory, and their recommended fix created an even bigger problem - all the while assuring me that everything would dry evenly and that I would be satisfied. And all that, by the way, after I pre-paid for the work to be done. Their solution to the whole debacle was to make excuses and charge more money. After dealing with the frustration, and a lack of communication and timeliness, I did not agree to the extra expense. In all fairness, he did offer a bit of a discount to make everything right. Shawn is a nice guy and a member of our community, which makes this experience - and this review - all the more disappointing. On the bright side, the hallway and the ceiling look great. We're grateful for that.

Hired to repair water damage to floor in bathroom. Estimate of $2450 was given & accepted with the…read moreidea there would be floor joists to replace. Ended up the joists just need to be braced, not replaced. Requested linoleum multiple times, but, finally allowed Shawn to use leftovers from another job instead. He said he hated installing linoleum. We went back & forth about it & I decided the outcome might be better if I just let him use the floating tiles, but, the tiles are not sticking right down the middle of the floor, so, I now regret this decision. During the floor repair I asked Shawn if he might be able to install the bathtub & surround we'd already purchased. He said he would install it for an additional $940 labor & we agreed. He shored up the the pipes to the showerhead and installed the pipes for the new faucet. I gave him an additional $100 to purchase a new tub faucet. Shawn then informed us the costs were going to be higher as he had to go to Home Depot. He met with resistance and his attitude changed. I felt that since the joists did not have to be replaced & I'd relented on the flooring used that additional charges were unacceptable. I left for an hour or two & when I returned Shawn was packing up & leaving the job undone. He said hooking up the plumbing to the tub was above his level of expertise, but, admitted it was more about how long it was taking (4 days) and his time was worth more. I told him usually a "contractor" would call in a plumber & would not leave us with an unfinished bathroom. We would have paid additional for the plumber, but, were not given that option. The toilet was not even reinstalled yet. There was a hole in the sheetrock where he'd fallen against it with his back. He agreed to leave his helper, who btw did a beautiful job on the baseboard, to install the toilet & repair the wall where the surround was to go. It was a huge back-sized hole and the repair, though diligently done, is concaved enough that the glue-up surround will not look right once installed unless it is replaced. During the job tools and debris were left in the bathroom, in the hallway, in the kitchen, by the front door and outside in the yard. The bottom line is we would not recommend Heavenly Home Improvements to anyone, in fact, would advise against it.

He brought in a window sample as part of his presentation to show the quality of the frame and glass of the windows. It wasn't a hard decision to make when I compared the other options I've seen during that time. I also looked up the reviews/ratings for the windows/door brand and the company. Richard also provided references of satisfied customers in my area, which I found it very helpful and transparent. The window depot has great Google reviews, as a Yelpie, I wanted to spread the word and be their first review on Yelp because I highly recommend them! They offered financing options which was a plus to proceed with the home improvement project. The cost was also reasonable. They replaced /installed my front windows and patio door. I was highly impressed with how efficient and phenomenally professional the installation was. Dave also came to do an inspection as the final step of the installation process. He brought me this thank you gift box with some goodies inside. Dave also assisted with registering my windows/ patio door for the warranty. The communication was excellent with Richard from day one, he was very responsive with phone calls /text messages/ emails. I'm more than pleased with the service, final product and strongly believe I made the right decision and will definitely consider them in the future for additional window replacements or door installation.
