Had my battery replaced on my iPhone due to an error message in settings and phone not holding a charge. The price was the same as at Apple but screenworks said they'd get it replaced in under an hour which was necessary since it's for my at-home business. Battery initially worked okay but started declining after the 45 day warranty expired. Finally went in to trade in old phone for new one at Best Buy - they wouldn't give me anything because my NEW battery from screenworks was getting ready to EXPLODE!! They said the battery was swelling and they wouldn't touch it and they had an Apple rep come over who then explained that it was probably because of the third party who worked on my phone. $780 for a newish (iPhone 7) phone + $80 on battery for old phone. Sucky service and I will never let anyone work on my phone except Apple. read more

Brought my iPhone 6s in to have a cracked screen replaced. My phone was fully functional other than just cosmetic damage with the broken glass. After picking up my iPhone with the new glass screen from ScreenWorks I noticed discoloration on the phone display, went back inside immediately and they replaced it again, stating the glass they used must have been faulty. I had to wait until they replaced the original screen they used with another one. Once I got home I also noticed that my phone was not holding a charge and would not respond to any phone chargers I plugged into the device. (A problem I had never experienced prior to having my screen replaced.) I took my phone back to ScreenWorks the same night and told them the issue I was having. Which I believed to be directly related to them replacing my phone screen. They denied that the issue would be related and told me I would have to pay for a new charging port to fix the problem. If I hadn't been leaving out of the country the next morning I would not have paid them to fix the charging port but I was desperate. So, on top of the $110 I paid for my screen I also paid them around $80 for a new charging port. I 100% believe they caused the charging port issue. While my phone has been able to charge since they fixed my charging port and my screen is no longer cracked- I have had multiple issues with my iPhone that I never had before. My screen no longer locks when I answer phone calls causing me to mute conversations or accidentally hang up on people constantly. My phone screen also freezes almost daily for long periods of time where I get no response from pressing any buttons on the screen or power button. I would not recommend having your screen fixed here. It would be worth the money to go somewhere with Apple approved screen repairs. I'm dissatisfied to say the least. read more

I took in my daughter's ipad mini 4 and was told it would be $100 to repair the cracked screen. I thought that was reasonable and told them to fix it. 5 hours later, I get a call from the young lady that helped me initially and she stated she was wrong on the price and that it would be $180 to fix it. I said that was outrageous and to skip the repair and that I was going to call around and see what the price was at other places in town. She stated that they could buy the ipad from me if I wanted for parts. She also said that they would still have to replace to cracked screen (why if you are buying it for parts????) and would give me $60 for it. Again, I said thanks but not thanks. She then said she would talk to her manager about possibly reducing the price to repair it and get back to me in 10 minutes. Needless to say, she never called me back. I then went to the store (Clovis location on Willow) to get the ipad back. At that point they had put tape all over the front of it. I was worried that removing the tape would damage it even more. I asked for a manager and a man came out (not even sure he was the manager) and I told him my concern. He removed the tape and I left. After getting home, my daughter and I both noticed that indeed, the removing of the tape did damage it even more. I am beyond upset and would never go back. read more

This place is unassuming, quiet and AWESOME! I have been in many times to purchase tempered glass for my iPhones. They are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. And, they don't charge to install tempered glass. I suggested to my mom that she go there (next to Spotlight-the best place ever). She took my son and his new phone in to them with an already purchased tempered glass screen protector. They happily installed it at no cost....even though it was purchased at Verizon. Do not go here. I took my iPad Air to the ScreenWorks on Willow and Nees (there are 2 locations in the Fresno area) to have the screen replaced. Their technicians failed on three separate occasions, over the course of several days, to get the screen to seat properly (the edge of the newly installed screen was visible above the edge of the iPad chassis, leaving the iPad internals exposed). When I asked to have the ScreenWorks' parts removed and have my payment refunded, I was told that only the General Manager, Mr. Velez, had the authority to issue refunds. I've attempted to get in contact with Mr. Velez on several occasions, through email, phone call, and in-store visits, and have been entirely ignored. Wish I could give 0 stars! read more

Worst place to take your electronics. Took my Samsung tablet there to fix screen. It came back glitchy and with home button messed up. I called them back to inform them that before hand my tablets screen was not this way. They claim the screen was wrong and had me take it back. Two weeks later they call me stating there was nothing they could do. I lost it. I couldn't believe they messed up my screen and home button. They need to train their tech guys and teach them how to properly handle these gadgets.. oh and also it longer turns on. Mind you. Before turned on fine. It was only a cracked screen. I went into the Clovis store yesterday and brought in two iPhones their screens are cracked, I had a coupon to have 20% off each repair and they fixed them both within 45 minutes very nice and welcoming. The only thing is when I requested a quote for the repairs I was quoted a specific price for both but when I paid it was for each so I actually thought I was playing a different price for both when actually I was quoted one price for one phone but charge for both separately, whether or not it was my error or an error on their part I would definitely go back to them they were very good read more

My iPhone wouldn't start back up after turning off unexpectedly, and was stuck in a boot loop; no one at Apple was able to fix it and instead tried to sell me an iPhone 11 even though I just wanted my XS fixed. My mother recommended ScreenWorks and David was able to turn my phone back on when no one else was able to, and now I just have to make sure my phone doesn't turn off again until I'm ready for an upgrade :) read more

My iPhone 7 Plus camera just suddenly stopped working when I dropped it while I was in the middle of doing an order (instacart) for a customer. I went to the Apple store for advice and they were just cold and blunt didn't even try to check out my phone, checked out the phone repair kiosk outside and that guy was trying to scam me out of all the money I had on me when I didn't get paid for another week he had no remorse or sympathy that I only had x-amount of money on me. He was really rude and extremely pushy! I then ordered parts on amazon and tools, a friend tried to fix and failed. So we googled a phone repair and the Campus Point ScreenWorks shows up, I call them and give a quick run down of my issue. Back camera is black and not working and flash also not working. I check him out in person, he calls this Clovis location to ask if they had the part for my phone and they did. Grant at the Campus point location was so helpful and very understanding seeing that I had been stressed by this mess for over a week now and he directly me to check out the Clovis location. I came in this morning and also explained what's wrong with my phone and the rude encounter at the mall. Sharan got me checked in around 12:40pm and told me it could be done by 3:00 there's 2 other phone repairs ahead of me. I told her I'd be back at 4:00 I don't mind the wait. Came for pick up and omg the phone is back to normal, the camera works, flash and barcode scanner works now!!! I can't thank David the tech who worked on my item enough as well as Sharan and just the company itself. They're not pushy with upselling you other services, the communication from one location to another is phenomenal. They actually try to help you. When I got my phone back I saw I got a text from ScreenWorks, my phone was actually finished by 1:47PM, a whole hour after I initially dropping off WITH 2 orders ahead of mine and it was done. I finally broke my iPhone 6 screen and was unable to use it. I took my phone here an hour before they closed with very little hope of them being able to repair it that day. But within FIFTEEN MINUTES it was done! Reasonable price, great service, (from Erica!) and quality work. Plus a 45 day warranty for any glitches that may arise. Ever been so loaded the night before that when you wake up you find that someone or something crack the hell out of your screen to the point where you can't see s**t??? That was the story of my life when I went up to Fresno to visit some old military buddies. I found this spot on yelp and I went to go check them out and so far, I'm glad I did. The store tech really helped me out and seemed to know a lot about my phone (iPhone 4s). I left my phone there, grab some food, and in about 2 hours, gotta call back from the Tech saying that my phone was ready to go. I've been coming here for a while now, whenever I need a repair or advise, these are the guys I go to. This weekend I went in to have the protection film on my iPhone replaced. The service was fast and they were able to do it while I waited there. They have always been very welcoming and warm, which at some places is not the case. I have had my wife's iPhone screen replaced here and they did a fantastic job. They are very knowledgeable in their field, which is good, because I am nowhere near that. I purchased a deal through Groupon to have the screen on my cell phone fixed. Afterward I had problems using the phone because I had to press harder than usual and it just wasn't in sync. Took it back but phone seemed to work fine and they said I had 45 days to bring back. Went home with same problems BUT happened to drop phone again and small crack in corner. This time they refused to even look at it. Even with the Groupon deal, I paid too much. Cell phone repair is cheaper anywhere else. Save your money and find another place with higher regard for their customers. We all know how our phones should work and if I paid over $100 I feel I should get the service i paid for. If I went back because of phone issues, Screenworks should have taken the time to look at my issue in the first place. The only good thing about it is the location. It's a couple of doors away from Starbucks. Next time, that won't be a consideration. read more
