    No customers and no customer service.

    Walked in for an online order. One employee was watching videos on their phone (full volume) the other employee who "helped" me told me I might want to come back because it takes 10mins to open the safe. I told him I'd wait. He then explained that although my Verizon app said the order was ready I didn't get an email saying it was ready so I probably want to come back in 30mins as he would need to "package it up". Two words, lazy and rude. From the moment I stepped into the store the goal was to get me out of the store. The other employee didn't even acknowledge my existence. Maybe Sam could be replaced by AI in an effort to improve customer service?

    THIS STORE IS THIRD PARTY RETAIL, NOT A LEGITIMATE XFINITY STORE. However, they will completely…read moreneglect to tell you this. I went in to transfer service and delete another service... the same service that they were glad to sell me a couple months prior and assured me would be easy to stop once I permanently relocated and no longer needed. Again what they will not tell you is that they are THIRD PARTY SALESMEN, NOT LEGITIMATE XFINITY EMPLOYEES. This is why they do not know anything. The manager here, a very young and rude guy maybe 5 feet tall, who identified himself as Juan H***nandez, tried to tell me that if I wanted to accomplish the transfer I'd have to start a new service at a different price which would be higher than what I was paying. I told him I've been a customer for at least 10+ years and when I started this additional service a couple months ago, the price rate came with a 5 year price guarantee. I started asking why he couldn't honor it, why he is telling me I have to pay a higher price, and why if he is a manager he can't override it since it was guaranteed at this exact store. What did he do? Told me since I am refusing their service, I can either leave the store or he would consider me trespassing and he would call the cops on me. But what did not once do? Relay that he is NOT A LEGITIMATE XFINITY MANAGER, ONLY A THIRD PARTY SALESMAN, and cannot actually do anything that was promised at the time of sale. So instead of being honest about what type of store it is, he resorted to telling me I need to leave or he'd consider me a trespasser. He also left me unable to return the equipment I brought with me and still stuck paying for 2 service accounts that I did not need. When I told people what happened, I was given a different number for customer service to get through to corporate to escalate. Their number got me through to Xfinity and it was only then that I LEARNED FROM XFINITY CORPORATE THAT THIS HERNDON STORE IS NOT A LEGITIMATE STORE. The Xfinity rep apologized profusely for what this store did and how they handled everything. The rep was able to handle the service transfer and cancellation of the 2nd account and told me to go to an actual corporate store to return my equipment , not this THIRD PARTY RETAILER. I went to corporate store on Shaw avenue and not only were they professional and courteous, they actually knew what they were doing. I have already escalated to corporate about this third party store and the manager here. Also, THIS STORE IS NOT EVEN LISTED ON THE BBB. I have since requested to add them and have also reported their service practices and unprofessional behavior. This Herndon third party store is honestly only staffed with practicing salesman who have no idea what they are doing and have no idea how to deal with customers. Walk in to this store at any given time and you will find customers who are incredibly unhappy with the workers here.

The agent, Stephanie, never mentioned anything about adding the "Next Up" plan or the "Protect Advantage" insurance, which cost $10 and $19 per month, respectively. With two phones, that's $58 added to the bill. When I saw the upcoming bill amount, I went back to the store and asked another male agent. He told me the charges would change once our old phones were dropped off. They didn't. Three weeks later, I returned to drop off my wife's old phone and asked the same question to another male agent. He gave me the same answer: "it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the amount to change". Later, I discovered that they had added the "Protect Advantage" insurance, which I canceled, so I didn't end up paying the full $19 × 2. But the bill still seemed higher than expected. When I examined the details, I found the "Next Up" plan already charging me $10 × 2, which I canceled immediately. I felt scammed. Many people might keep paying without realizing these plans were added. This is a very shady practice by AT&T. At the very least, the agents should have disclosed these add‑ons. Even when I asked directly, none of them mentioned that these plans had been added.

    This morning was one of those moments that I almost lost my mind. I looked at my phone, and my…read moreinternet completely shut down. Knowing that was an issue, I quickly switched to see if my Wi-Fi was working, and still no internet access on my phone. This is the kind of day that will make a man go crazy when you're disconnected from the outside world. Long story short, I went into Verizon and received the absolute best customer service I've had in a long time. The gentleman's name was Ruggeri and he knew exactly what to do to diagnose my phone to make sure that he could get it working again perfectly. Lo and behold, after a few tries and a SIM reset, my phone was working perfectly. Thank you, Ruggero, for all of your help and your kindness, and I highly recommend coming to this store and getting your phone serviced by Ruggero.

The gentleman that helped me with my Verizon acct screwed up my entire acct. Deliberately lied about what my phone payments would be, what I would be loosing from my current service, etc. He was very unpleasant to other customers in store while I was present. I went in for a 2nd time to try and fix the issue (as advised by Verizon rep) he was so unhelpful and again, rude to other people in the store. It's been over 2 months and I'm still trying to fix the issues he created with my phone accts. I do not recommend this business.
