Albert called me back within 24 hours, set an appointment for a few days later, gave me his honest opinion about the screen issue I was having with my retractable screen-door (which SAVED me money), worked fast and I am nothing but satisfied with his work. He gave me a one hour window as to when he would show up, showed up on time and had the job done within 45 minutes. I broke the handle on my extremely heavy patio slider, and was over-joyed to find that Screenworks could repair it. Albert was able to find and install a replacement handle and let me know that after 12 years, the rollers needed replacing. In less than an hour and with very little clearance to maneuver the door, the rollers were replaced, and the door glides effortlessly. Albert arrived promptly!!! I had 12 windows and a patio door re-screened. Not only did he do an excellent job, but he installed the new rollers to the patio door that I had purchased online. I wasn't able to properly install them. Albert did and made sure the patio door was installed in perfect working order.....no extra charge. So nice to be able to slide the door open/closed with one finger ! Albert cleaned up (brought his own vacuum). He also replaced a few metal parts FREE. Albert carries a selection of patio door rollers; I won't have to buy online again. The price I was quoted online was honored. Sometimes installers try to up the price; not SCREENWORKS; the quoted price was the price, period. Albert replaced our sliding screen doors with stainless-steel rollers. (We live at the beach so our old rollers were corroded and frozen from the ocean moisture.) Steer clear. Albert expected and even demanded to be paid on an incomplete and sub-par job & to top that off he handed me an invoice for $100 more than he had quoted me over the phone. To start off Albert came about 6 hours late & so late in the day he wasn't able to finish the job & yet demanded to get paid. He was hired to build custom window screens for our bronze front doors & re-screen 3 other windows. He used brown spray paint on round head screws to attach the screen frame. The windows close with great difficulty because of the round screw heads and the paint is already wearing off. Now the latch to the window has broken because of incorrect installation of the screen. When I told him that spray painted screws on a $6000 set of doors wasn't acceptable he told me they don't make bronze screws which clearly isn't true if you search the internet. He has handled himself beyond unprofessional & has been very offensive to the point that I'm afraid to have him in my home without my husband being here. He has yet to finish the job in an acceptable way & refuses to come to some kind of mutually agreeable price for his incomplete & sub par services. read more

Albert did such a GREAT job for us. We have a place right next to the beach and have a problem with previous security screen doors rusting a year or so after we bought them and we were always having to replace it . Albert suggested this Guarda door that is powder coated and the screen is guaranteed for 10 years not to rust. It is an expensive screen door and he gave a better price than everyone else we called. He was very thorough and explained the workings of the locking mechanism which is a little complicated. This door should save us a lot of money over time and it will be great not to have to replace it every year or so. He was very friendly, professional and cleaned up very well when he was done. He also replaced some screens for us. He had to come out to our place multiple times and was always on time. He went out of his way to help us with this door and we are very happy with it.
