I have a very specific way I like my dog to be groomed and when I tried to explain I would write the instructions down for the groomer, she quickly waved me off and said she would do a summer cut but keep his ear length. My dog came out with hair shaved much shorter than she originally explained and trimmed the ears of his ears after they took years to grow to that length. When she told me summer cut, she said she would shorten it like the length on his head which is still rather long however when I got him back, even that hair had been shaved shorter too. This is not what I had agreed to and I honestly had to hold back tears because I did not want to be impolite but this is very upsetting. My dog had beautiful silky fit and now his fur doesn't feel soft and silky like it used to but rather coarse and dry. Even worse, he's a cocker mix so I'm afraid his coat is ruined now because he had a double coat. I would think professional groomers would know better than to shave breeds with a double coat. I'm really hoping his coat grows back normally but I'm anxious and now reading it'll never be the same. Also wants to point out that when she shaved off the feathering on his legs, the legs are patchy and bald in comparison to the other parts of the legs that did not have feathering. This haircut is just absolutely awful. Very very disappointed and I've been crying for hours over this. I should have just gone to Pet Smart for his grooming. I will never use this service again. read more

I scheduled for my shih tzu. When the guy came I told him babydoll cut and he had no clue what that was. About 20 min later he comes back and said he is trying to jump off the table and I can't get him to calm down to cut him. All he did was a bath. My dog was shaking so bad I just told him to let him go. I messaged them on Facebook and they set up with another guy this weekend and I asked if I would be charged again and was told no. Again told me guy baby doll cut, never heard of it. Ughhh. Fine sorry then. Did a good job. I told him it was a no charge because the other guy didn't finish. He called someone and they said I have no notes about that. I showed him the message. I was going to tip him but he got pissed and peeled off. Will never use them again. read more

Sunshine came yesterday to groom both of my dogs. She did a great job and was prompt arriving. This is definitely a luxury service but is worth it to me not to have the stress of kenneling at a groomer. I also have not had any groomer I have tried do as nice a job as Sunshine did. Scrub a Dub has been wonderful for our 2 Golden Retrievers. The convenience of having the wonderfully clean truck come to our house and groom our dogs from home has been fantastic. They do a wonderful job grooming the dogs, scheduling appointments and sending reminders and being extremely reliable. We are so lucky to have such a nice service in El Paso.
