My DLH cat Bubbles got sprayed by a resident skunk a couple weeks ago....and she stinks. Has a few…read morematts on her fur (like 4 small lumps...so rather than bathe her and try to cut the matts off myself....I figured I'd see how much to have her groomed. The place I occasionally take my dog Olivia to is closed Sundays/Mondays so I called a few other places. 3 didn't do cats, and one did. Allie & Paws. So I called them. When I mentioned bath and just a few matts they said we'd have to see her for a price.....but normally between $150 - $280.... I'm like WHAT!? OK thank you, Allie & Paws....you just gave me the motivation needed to do it myself. And hung up. Lol. So my Sunday after church was bathing my cat and cutting off her matts.....lol....Bubbles hates me, but she smells better.....lol! Ridiculous pricing for what I did myself in less than 45 mins. Only getting a 1 star because I can't mark ZERO.

My dog has been to different groomers in the past and the groomers use to leave him with cuts or bad haircuts so I knew I had to find a good groomer, then I found Maria. She has been the best groomer I could ever come across! She has so much patience, I know my dog isn't the best behaved with strangers and he gets anxious sometimes, but she is so understanding and kind to him! I appreciate her a lot. She is also very talented at her job and gives the cutest haircuts. My dog also smells amazing and his nails are nicely trimmed and he comes back with cute bandanas. Brought my bernedoodle pup for her first groom and had a great experience! She didn't love her…read morenails getting done, but the groomers explained to me how I could help her get comfortable with it at home to make the grooming experience better in the future. I'm happy they didn't force anything on her because a doodle scared of the groomers would be miserable! I finally got a text about 5pm "my pets were ready". When I got there only one got a haircut and the lady was somewhat rude saying "my dog was aggressive". Something about the way she spoke to me and walked away, I mean maybe she was having a bad day, but why do that. They only managed to give him a bath. And really not sure what happened, but I really didn't need the attitude, plus they charged me $166.00 in the end. When I first called they told me two haircuts and nails for (2) dogs would be $175.00 (I thought it was pricey) but they really needed haircuts so I was grateful that I got the appointment. But the experience I received today, I'm never taking them there again. Honestly I feel like I got robbed and my dog Chase still needs a haircut, Wag Your Tail in Lakewood here we come. I usually take my dogs there but like I said "they needed haircuts bad and this place was close by NEVER AGAIN. Nik, I rec'd a text after the fact. I called at 4pm because I was worried, the person on the phone said "everything was fine" and the reason for the delay "a groomer had went home". I get a text at 5pm they are ready. When I arrived your groomer came to me irritable. She looked like she was having a bad day. Chase only rec'd a bath, he looked untouched, no attempt of cutting his hair. And the part that blows my mind is, I still get charged as if I got full service. She was going to charge me $175 STILL, until I started saying "he did not get a cut" and they only took $10 dollars off. Unbelievable. I wanted this to work. I was excited to see my dogs groomed. I also want to mention that I gave both my dogs melatonin before I took them. Why did I get charged so much? What would you do or say if this happened to you?

My dog escaped from inside the van and took off running in our neighborhood. According to my…read morehusband who was there at the time, Kelly told him that she put him inside the van and somehow got out of his leash( don't know if it was our own personal leash or the leash in the van) and took off running in our neighborhood. Apparently she closed the door BUT NOT ALL THE WAY and he maneuvered by using his snout to open the door. We are grateful that she was able to catch him because he was pooping at that moment, but if it would have been another ending of her not being able to catch him and loosing him, this wouldn't have been good. After this incident, I don't know if I can trust this service anymore. Just wanting to put this review on their Yelp page so that future and present customers will be able to know to make sure that whoever is taking care of their pup is safe and secured. Ontop of that, he was a little damp and apparently Kelly told my husband that it was the perfume. I don't think perfume would make the fur "damp".

For some context, my little gremlin is absolutely terrible for nail trims. At the vet, it usually takes three vet techs just to hold him still. I honestly thought no one would ever be able to do it safely. Somehow she manages to do his nail trims by herself without losing any fingers! My little guy has struggled with skin issues for years, especially in the wrinkles around his face. Ever since Jenni started grooming him, his skin has improved so much and is now pretty much resolved. What really stands out is how much care she puts into every visit. She takes the time to gently clean between all of his facial wrinkles instead of rushing through it, and it has made such a huge difference. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and treats them like they're her own. With a senior dog, finding someone you completely trust isn't easy, but I never have to worry when he's with Jenni.
