First and last time for me today! It's the most disgusting food ever! Two $16 lobster rolls came in a bag and smelled like dirty clams, I took a bite of a claw and almost spit it out. The buns were hard and stale. Neither is is finished ours! We ordered three crunch wrapped Supremes to go and specifically asked for no lettuce, due to the parasitic, explosive diarrhea from lettuce being recalled. All 3 crunch wraps were covered in lettuce! I've been hearing some good things about the protein bowls here so I decided to head over and check it out. The building is drive thru only. When I pulled up to look at the menu it was pretty messed up and half of it missing. I was inside of the process to do much choosing. I pulled a bit further up to see a sign to order and pay on your own. It's basically all self service. There is another menu that actually has the entire option of proteins etc on the wall above the order intercom. Service was okay. The girl taking my order seemed to be annoyed. Once at the window a guy just handed me the bag. The water I asked for was already on the outside counter. The foo was good, but service was much to be desired . No one's doing it like Angie's! I was in the area and heard about their $4.99 salads through an email I got today. I'm not a lobster fan but they have so many options besides that, including shrimp, other seafood, salads, bowls and burritos. They offered discounted salads last year and I loved supporting them, so I'm glad they brought them back. I came at a great time, around 430, as there was no line. I ordered my favorite: the Asian salad (cucumbers, sweet potatoes, red onions, broccoli) with grilled chicken, half spinach half romaine. I also got their spicy honey ranch salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, fried onions, corn, pepper jack cheese) with falafel, same base. The second salad comes with a ranch packet *and* a spicy honey packet, very generous. I enjoy the mix of flavors and textures of both of these salads. I ate one same day and saved the other for the next day (I've asked for protein on the side to make it easier to heat up). The employee who took my order and gave me my food was friendly. Make sure you have a credit/debit card or phone because no cash is accepted. The only off thing was that I was given forks in my bag, which hasn't happened before. They're big on sustainability and don't have straws, napkins and silverware are available by choice. Such a great deal and it's a filling meal. Definitely recommend Angie's and really hope they open up more locations, especially near me! read more

Impressed that they get their lobsters from their own wharf back East, but it's not just lobsters that they have, so be sure to check out their menu as it helps to be familiar with it before you're on line in your car. I couldn't decide on the hot or cold lobster roll, but I went with a meal of a warm lobster roll with seasoned lemon butter, Angie's special sauce, and fries and soda ($13.99)--(although they should ditch the plastic soda cup since they should care more about ocean stewardship since it's their livelihood). I also asked for the extra lobster meat ($3.99 extra) since I figured I'd need it since I actually wanted to be sure I could taste the lobster and not the roll. It was the correct decision as it was the perfect amt. although the roll itself wasn't as long as I was hoping, but it was nicely butter toasted. Fries just average, special sauce very tasty, and drumroll please, the lobster roll was very tasty although not quite what I got in Maine, but heck, this is the Sonoran Desert and I was still delighted with the treat and the service at the window was smooth as was the entire ordering and processing. My breakfast sandwich was literally cold. Not like sitting out cold, but like having been in the refrigerator cold. I can understand that sliced cheese might be cold, but the eggs and sausage both had a chill to them. Had I not been headed to an appointment I would have returned the food. I ordered shrimp and while waiting at the window for my food to be completed I see the server pick up raw meat to prep and then WEARING THE SAME RAW MEAT GLOVES he picks up my pieces of shrimp and plates them , bags them and hands the bag to me ‼ I told him, "you didn't change gloves after you touched the raw meat! Came to try the updated cod sandwich, this is a junior version which has only one fish piece compared to the other that has two. I tried the original when it came out and wasn't really happy with the flavor/texture. I thought it was "too crispy", it wasn't at all flakey and the breading seemed overfried. This "new" version which they say they adjusted those particular issues doesn't seem totally resolved. Fish texture still isn't flakey like other fish sandwiches. The breading coloring was slightly less dark but still seemed overfried. Also they use the same bun as the two piece sandwich so it was more bread than fish. Overall, I wouldn't get either fish sandwiches again. As far as service, idk if they were overwhelmed (only two cars ahead of me) or what but when I got to the window, I got my drink and the girl handed me my bag. It seemed a bit light so I looked inside and I only received the sandwich. I told her I was missing the fries and she gave me a d'oh!!! expression. She took less than a minute to get me the fries so not real harm but still. Truly disappointed on Angie's and their staff. I understand they are trying to do everything as cost effective as possible, but would it hurt to have employees that act like they care? And have to press the doorbell twice to get the employee just insides attention. They tell me it will just be a "moment". Well for the next 5 minutes I watched this employee standing in the back talking to other employees and then after another 10 minutes (what a moment) I asked if there was an issue. Well there was, the employee just didn't want to admit they sat their talking while the chicken they then claimed to be waiting for had been done and waiting. Do you think they could even apologize? Nope. Just a super fake "here's your food, have a great night." Maybe had the employee indicated what the "moment" was for could have set better expectations. Regardless, people stop going to places where they are treated poorly, no matter how good the food is or how inexpensive it is. These employees act like this gives them a pass to be discourteous and rude. read more

Granted, I didn't read the reviews for this particular location as I was planning on going to one of their other locations. Anyways, I decided to get...the meal as it comes with fries, Angie's sauce, and a drink for $1 more. That's a deal! #2 Warm Lobster Roll (with butter) - A good amount of fresh tasting lobster on this sandwich. Angie's sauce was like a cajun remoulade sauce and was creamy and delicious. Clarified butter was great on the lobster. The fries were thin-cut and nice and crispy. Added a Fried Lobster Tail. Nicely breaded and crispy. The service was nice and friendly as you ordered. Unfortunately, if you walk up to the window for an online pick up, they will let you stand there for five minutes all the way to 15 minutes before they help you, but you can see them serving Carr after Carr after Carr in the drive-through you can continue to knock on the window and ring the doorbell, but nobody will assist you and I say thisseven times of the same issue. Seven times they'll never help you. I even jumped in the drive through walking up to the window. They pretend you do t exist. Seem to do their job fine of your in the drive though. Do t bother doing door dash pickups at this same window. Horrible. read more

I also had the Maine crab roll which was equally as good.(reasonably priced at around $10 each) It is no dining in, just drive-thru... and no cash is accepted. A new location opened up a little closer than the Thunderbird one so I decided to hit it up. Drive Thru was popping and they don't have inside or outside seating. Drive thru went pretty quick even with the amount of cars there. Obviously you come here for the lobster rolls. I've been craving a lobster roll for quite some time. So, I finally took the time out to try this place. At first you may think how odd a drive-thru that serves lobster but let me tell you, it works. There is also a card terminal there so once you're done ordering you pay and then drive up to the window where they hand you your order. No muss, no fuss. I like it! I had the warm lobster roll combo and a fried lobster tail on the side. The fries were good not overly salty but could be crispier. The warm lobster on the roll was nicely cooked and full of flavor. It wasn't fishy tasting and the texture was good. The bread was toasted nicely and they are not stingy with the lobster. They pack that roll. It came with melted butter and Angie's sauce...which is delicious. It's good on the lobster and for dipping the fries in. The fried lobster was nice and crispy and the batter was good but the lobster was chewy so I think it was overcooked and I felt like the batter overpowers the taste of the lobster. Is it the best lobster roll? No. Is it a good value for the price? Yes! $10.99 for a lobster roll, fries and drink when just one lobster roll alone can cost $15 and up. I really enjoyed Angie's Lobster and lovePrime Grill, but my last two bowls were awful! The meat is over cooked, both steak and shrimp and both times, the steak had grisel. The lobster was piled higher, the roll was the right roll, just add butter (which came melted in it's own little pack). The lobster was fresh tasting, not overly chunky, but in no way too small. It had enough that when you take a bite some lobster falls out, which is the sign of the proper bun to lobster ratio. I am a purist, my son got the Honey one and it was fine. Couldnt figure what to eat on my last night in AZ and randomly came across this via yelp. Pretty skeptical because its a fast food drive thru that serves lobster. Drive thru line moves quite fast and I like that they produce less waste like straws and utensils unless requested. You order at a speaker under the tunnel instead of the menu board at the beginning. There is also a card terminal where you place your order so everything is done by yourself and the secondary window will give you your order. Fries were well seasoned. It wasnt overly salty but not crispy which i semi liked. The pieces of lobster was surprisingly good. It was not fishy tasting and had good texture. Wasnt overly chewy as some lobster can be overcooked. Bread was nicely toasted. The fried lobster tail was very crispy and batter was good. I felt like it took away from the lobster taste but i still enjoyed it. Their sweet tea was eh. I wasnt too much of a fan since it didnt taste like southern tea but still good.
