I reached out on Facebook and asked my friends for recommendations. I received several recommendations, but one was close to home AND offered shuttle service. Sculley's on Pines was the winner!! Brought in my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 to get a few things fixed, before I needed to drive down to Boise (to bring my child back to Spokane). I was able to get the dash lights fixed (meaning the dash and other dash lights work) and they were able to fix the HVAC output and the heat (or AC) blows through any option (defrost, dash or floor vents). Took my vehicle in 15 minutes before closing. They were able to get my vehicle in the system to be looked at the following day. They were very up front about the diagnosis cost and the wait time so I wasn't leaving the shop with any questions. They were able to get my car fixed and back to me in the timeframe discussed. Not so sure how honest they are... I went there to get my headlights changed and one of my tail lights changed. they didnt change my the tail light as i thought they would, but I wasnt bugged because i was more concerned with seeing in the dark, i was driving with my foglights on since my headlamps were out and finally decided to get my lights taken care of because my fog lights were dimming down. anyhow, according to the receipt they changed my two headlamps and one fog light. Not too much later one headlamp went out and they agreed to check it out since I just had it replaced. Anyhow, they said they said the one headlamp was never changed that prior visit and it was the two fog lamps. they charged me the cost of the light bulb. I dont believe they only changed my one headlamp and i dont think i should have paid for this replacement. i have the receipt that says both were changed prior and i drive my car so much to know what they did or didnt do. anyhow, if you're going here because you think you're helping out a small business- know the prices are the same are Firestone and I like with Firestone, you can speak with one of the technicians who can explain whats going on with your car. even over the phone, they can see if they can trouble shoot the problem to figure out what's wrong with your car- their attention and patience is nice. read more

I saw Sculley's today to diagnose a coolant leak in my Toyota Pickup. I was prepared to pay several hundred dollars to replace my water pump. But the shop diagnosed a simple anti-freeze leak at the radiator hose clamp. The fix was simple and quick, and the charges were very reasonable. Took my car in for oil change as I do and they do such a good overall check of the car. Turns out my battery was only at 20% which meant in this cold weather I could get stranded. Also replaced my cabin air filter and told me by next oil change I would want to do brakes. No pressure no hard sell they just do a good honest job and very friendly service too! read more

Took my 2000 Chrysler Town & Country Van into them for a routine oil change, they call me later and told me that they had some safety concerns, my front tires were unsafe and I needed a new master cylinder because it was leaking, they had two used tires that they put on the front and they only charged me for the mounting and balancing and they replaced the master cylinder for cost, a very pleasant experience and I'll defiantly go back to them, they care about your safety and are honest, I give them a ***** rating. read more

We live about a block from them however, we work on the North side. Wanting to give a newer neighborhood shop our business, we got off work early to have them do an oil change. They close at 5 PM. We got there at 330. When my wife inquired about an oil change she was told "NO, not today, we like to start wrapping things up around 330." Their words not ours.
