The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and answers any questions you have to make you feel at ease I went in to have CoolSculpting performed on my chin. Christina took care of me and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed in the chair. I've had Botox done once before from another place that came highly recommended to me but I felt so at ease with these ladies I went ahead and had them do my touch up. I highly recommend this place! I spent $1,200 on laser hair removal for my shoulders, and not only did it not work, but now I have more hair than before! This place is a total scam. I followed all their instructions, yet the results were the complete opposite of what they promised. The technician, Nataly, performed my treatments, and it was clear she had no idea what she was doing. The whole experience felt rushed and unprofessional. If their laser actually worked, I wouldn't be dealing with this mess today. If you're thinking about going here--DON'T. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and wasted money. I had been going to Sculpt's DTLA location twice a year for three years and always found the service to be acceptable. However, after moving to another part of Los Angeles, I decided to try their Silver Lake location for convenience--and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly, and the space itself felt dingy and poorly maintained. I came in for another tattoo removal session, and while they do numb the area beforehand, they left me sitting in the chair for over an hour with no update. When I finally asked the front desk when my treatment would begin, I was told I was "still numbing"... with no explanation for the delay. When the technician finally arrived, he smelled strongly of food, which suggested I had unknowingly spent that hour waiting while he was on his lunch break. While I don't mind someone taking their break, it was frustrating that my time was clearly not respected. On top of that, he was cold, unwelcoming, and by far the most unpleasant staff member I've encountered at any Sculpt location. After that visit, I never returned and chose to take my business to Removery instead. I wouldn't recommend the Silver Lake location to anyone. read more

Calvin treated me with the IPL for hyperpigmentation. My hyperpigmentation lessened, my skin felt softer and pores were diminished. I had an injection with botox between my brows that lasted for 6 months. I am due to go back. I didn't want a large dose of botox. Calvin was careful to make my brows look natural. BAIT AND SWITCH. I came here to get my botox done and requested that I had 24 units done to my forehead and frown lines. Specially told them im very sensitive to it based on my last experience. When getting ringed up, they billed me for 44 units! They gave me excuses that 24 units were for the forehead line and 20 for the frown lines. Never did they confirm the total unit amount. I've always had a gut feed they try to add more units for additional profits prior, this really solidify my finding. Make sure you clarify thoroughly cause you might end up paying more without realizing it. read more

Severely negligent medical spa. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I've been coming to sculpt silverlake for 3.5 years for a small tattoo removal. Initially I chose sculpt because it was near my home and they quoted me $125/session for the removal of a tattoo the soze of a credit cars ( it was smaller than that ) Not only did sculpt double the price per session, they didn't notify me until after the treatment had already been performed. They claimed this price was posted in their office (it was not) and they claimed it was posted on their site (it still is not). To add insult to injury, I passed our after one of their technicians increased the laser strength beyond a reasonable amount. I passed out from the pain, hitting my head on the concrete of their parkinglot. I was unable to work for 3 months. When I awoke from the fall I had to call the receptionist to let her know I needed help. She didn't emerge from the office for a full 15 minutes. I could have had severe brain damage or been run over by a car in their parkinglot. not to mention their scheduling service is highly unprofessional. I've waited an hour to be treated. I've been told I arrived 30 minutes too early, made to wait another 40 minutes. Been told me appointment time was an entirely different time of day after arriving at the clinic. Highly unprofessional and frankly scary to see "medical" professionals operating a business so unprofessionally. read more

They don't follow up with you when you have product that needs to be finished and instead just threw out $750 worth of lip filler in the trash with out calling me to come in to use it up before tossing it. Oh, also, they kept $750 worth of brand new unused lip filler that I paid on a promo they had. I changed my mind of not wanting lip filler anymore and wanted to get refund for something I did not get serviced for and said their credit processor charges them like 50% for fees! Honestly, the nurses are really caring and knowledgable - especially Calvin & Anna from my personal experience. Also the receptionist Kim is really nice. They have the latest and greatest lasers for hair removal, tattoo removal, and skin treatments. I've personally had all three. I can really recommend hair removal here as it doesn't hurt hardly at all and I can also recommend the microneedling. I've had 2 sessions and can see really great results. I get laser hair removal at Downtown Sculpt, since I heard they open a new location in Silverlake I now go to the spa in this area. The location in DTLA is closer to me but it is convenient to take the subway for a 10 minute ride and walk two blocks on Sunset Blvd to get to Silverlake Sculpt. Staff is friendly but I hate my results. I've been here three times. The first visit was for chin filler which came out nice. I went back a few months later for a second and third time (same week) for lip filler, nose filler and botox. Filler in the nose was placed in areas I did not want it placed. I thought I made it very clear that I wanted filler only where the bridge of my nose starts and a very small amount on the tip of my nose to help it point up. I've gotten this done in the past with another doctor so I knew this look would be achievable and wasn't worried. As soon as I looked in the mirror I was disappointed and expressed my concern. He tried to fix it by molding the filler and putting more filler in my nose. I convinced myself that after it was healed it would look better but sadly this has not been the case. Too much filler has been placed exactly opposite of where I wanted it placed. Now my nose looks very bulbous. I also had Botox injected in my jaw and forehead and my face is now droopy. The sides of my mouth actually point down when I smile/ rest and it looks like I have slight jowls. I don't look like myself and I cant smile. It's depressing. Very disappointed in my results. I've gotten better work done elsewhere. Do not recommend. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I used to go for good two years to Sculpt DTLA, great friendly staff the nurse used to be Anush very good and professional. When I had to move to Silverlake it's like not even the same company, 3 times in a roll something bad happened because of the rude staff. Instead of felling welcomed you feel like you're walking on a "mean girls" pit, very unfriendly, whispering and giggling that makes you feel uncomfortable just for start. 1ST TIME PROBLEM: After 2 years found laser my first nurse used to do small retouches on areas that I have payed before, when I finished the new nurse ran outside and star whispering with the blonde lady at the reception, the lady said I would have to pay that they don't provide retouches because "WE DONT GIVE FREE TREATMENTS" rude and loud living other customers and me uncomfortable, this all could have been avoided and explained, I spent over $2k there, I guarantee I would not mind paying $70 if the situation was explained. The lady also said I only had 2 sessions left, I said it was three, "Why don't you check again your notes and come back to me? You only have 2, you can pay 1 more". 2ND TIME: I got there 15 minutes before because i could not be late, they made me wait 50 minutes, I end up missing my second appointment. 3RD TIME: I was 15 minutes late, called to ask if it was ok, they said yes, when I got there they said they would not do my treatment. I told them I called, "BUT YOU ARE LATE RIGHT" the nurse Cindy pointed in a mocking tone. I drove past an hour to get there "COME BACK SOME OTHER DAY". The recepcionista the blonde manager and the nurse keep exchanging looks and barely could hold the giggling while I was leaving. They are always on their phones and don't even look at you once you enter the room. I don't want to go back there, I just want reimbursement for my last 3 sessions and never see that people again. read more
