I've visited a few times now, twice for microneedling and once for Botox. The nurses that provided these services for me, Ashley and Elizabeth, were both very kind, patient, and made me feel super comfortable each visit I had. I had microneedling done for the first time about 2 months ago and it really was like a gateway to other beauty services for me hence my coming back to pop my Botox cherry as well. Since I found out Sienna Medspa has a location in Montebello, I will probably continue future treatments there instead as I live much closer to that one, but I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences at the Koreatown location. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now and I love it. I've had sessions done by a variety of ladies and they've all been good. I do have my favorites that know to expect my silly distractions from the pain or that engage in girl talk, which helps with relaxing. Setting a comfortable environment is crucial to the lasering experience for me. Still one of my greatest investments. Waxing could never see me again. read more

After a bad experience at my last med spa (where I'd been going for over a year) I decided to give this place a try. They advertised a Botox special on their website. I filled out the contact sheet on their website because I wanted to get an appointment as soon as possible. The next day I was contacted and told that the special was only two days longer and there were no more appointments available. Really? Why even advertise it then??? So disappointing! I initially requested to book an appointment with a specific nurse who had previously been assigned to me and was the best fit. During the booking process, there were multiple instances of confusion, and I was ultimately assigned to a different nurse. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, the business was already closed, despite it being before their stated closing hours. There was no prior notice or communication. Afterward, the only explanation provided was that the appointment had not been saved due to a system issue. No alternative resolution, credit, or compensation was offered--only a suggestion to rebook. I lost my time due to an issue entirely on their end. The staff here is lovely, but I would not recommend them for microneedling PRP. The first time the nurse seemed unsure of drawing my blood, and the second time they didn't separate out the blood from the platelets correctly and left my face smeared in blood. Any other place I've gone to takes two vials and puts the PRP into syringes for a clean application, I've never left with blood all over my face and it's a sign of a place that doesn't know how to do PRP. I gave feedback and they offered no help. I've had PRP had many times before and I know how it's suppose to be done. read more

They explained what to do before, during, and after treatment to get the best results and took great care of me throughout (wrapped like a baby in blankets and support pillows half the time haha!). On top of everything...their pricing was also at LEAST 30% better than several other clinics I researched, and yet their combined experience and training was high quality and top tier from ladies who have done over thousands of sessions of this and know how to do it properly. One thing that absolutely stood out was Joanne's incredible post-treatment massage. She takes it seriously and is very thorough, which was important to me after learning how much the massage can matter after CoolSculpting! Other clinic massages are weak compared to what she does and if you do the research, you'll see how much it actually matters with results. And do you want to pay more elsewhere for less results? That's what I thought. ;) I had a blast. I watched Korean cooking travel shows the entire time (even with Joanne haha! Giving me the Korean-scoop on all the places and food and her own history with Korea), took several naps, and was kept so comfortable I barely felt like I was there for a procedure. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services I received at your establishment on [8/17/2024]. While I was greeted appropriately upon entering the facility, I have significant concerns about the way my treatment and billing were handled, which I believe need to be addressed immediately. Before my appointment, I communicated with your receptionist via text, sharing pictures of my face and explaining my skin concerns. During this exchange, I inquired about the services and pricing. The receptionist informed me that the treatment options included a VIP peel, with a price range of $250 to $300. However, when I arrived for my appointment, the specialist informed me that I would be receiving the "Purified Plus VIP Peel." I asked for confirmation on the cost and was surprised when she stated it would be $350--significantly higher than what I had been told. When I expressed my concern, the specialist went to consult with the receptionist, who is not the manager, and returned with a revised price of $300, which I still felt was too high given the circumstances. Moreover, the specialist proceeded to take pictures of my skin without my consent. I had not signed a waiver for this, as I did not want my photos taken, and this made me extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, I was pressured by the receptionist to leave a positive review on Yelp and Google before the service was even performed, which felt highly inappropriate. After the treatment, I have experienced severe discomfort and results that do not seem consistent with what a chemical peel should be. I strongly believe that the treatment provided was not as advertised, and I am deeply disappointed with the outcome. Given these issues--the miscommunication regarding pricing, the unauthorized photography, the unprofessional conduct, and the unsatisfactory results--I am requesting a full refund. I believe this is a fair resolution considering the distress and dissatisfaction I have experienced. Please be advised that I keep records of all interactions for my protection, and I am prepared to escalate this matter if necessary. HOW HORRIBLE and DISRESPECTFUL place here. I can't imagine the hiring system of this clinic and how they manages their staff. If you are taking care of your privacy, I should warn you that NEVER GO this clinic, because you never know if your privacy caused by your medical issue will be exposed in public without your agreement by an nasty and ignorant receptionist and it will make you feel terribly insulted and offended. It was my third time of getting a hair removal service from here. I got a same service from a same technician and also we clearly confirmed what I'll take before starting it - meaning the technician wouldn't make mistakes on it for sure. But once I got to the reception for the payment, there was a guy in the lobby, and the horrible receptionist confirmed each area where I've gotten the service twice so loudly. Since they were highly intimate areas -especially one of them was unusual area because of my medical issue- and the lobby is super small meaning any people in the lobby can hear what the other people is talking so clearly, I felt like what the heck is going on, cause I also know the receptionist and she didn't behave like that when there was no patients or only females in the lobby. So I said thank you for reminding me, and then she lied that the technician added the other service so she just wanted to confirm it. Are you kidding me? Even more, just right before I pay for it, she repeated the most intimate area once again. It was third time! Can't believe if she got educated about work ethic or even a social manner at least seriously. This was obviously meant to be an insult to your customer on purpose and I feel horribly offended and disrespected. Ladies, DON'T PUT YOURSELF into this RANDOM, INSECURE and DISRESPECTFUL PLACE as long as you don't want to get feel being screwed over and naked in public, which is completely depended on the poor receptionist's random emotions or feeling!! read more

I would not recommend this med spa. Most importantly they bribe customers to put reviews on their site. Don't trust any of these reviews, see evidence. First, the laser hair removal simply has not worked for me. I've spent close to $1,500 treating my legs and bikini area, have been going consistently for nine months, and I'm still experiencing significant hair growth. For the time, money, and commitment involved, the results have been very disappointing. Second, their appointment reminders are confusing. One message lists the appointment time, while another references a different deadline (such as confirming by 2:00 PM), making it easy to misinterpret the actual appointment time. Despite the confusing communication, they threaten a $50 no-show fee or cancellation of your session. Finally, the customer service is poor. When I explained that the reminders were confusing, Ana at the front desk responded by telling me I wasn't reading the messages correctly rather than acknowledging how they could be interpreted. I found her tone dismissive and condescending, which only made the situation more frustrating. Between the ineffective treatments, confusing communication, and poor customer service, I cannot recommend this business. There are many other providers that deliver better results and treat their clients with more respect read more

Love coming to this place. Staff is very friendly. The nurses are top notch - very knowldgeable and professional. Covid-19 precautions strictly adhered to. Upon arrival, your temperature is taken and there's never more than 2 people at a time in the waiting room. My favorite nurse is Gladys. She does my laser hair removal. Before coming to this place, i had gotten a couple treatments elsewhere. I wasn't experiencing any loss. After my first appointment with Gladys I saw a big difference. She pointed out a few things that I needed to work on. At the other place, the nurse would quickly do my treatment. She barely spoke to me. Gladys on the other hand, is very friendly. She'll let you know if you missed a spot shaving. She told me that the shave job is very important if I want to lose the hairs. And she was right, If you shave well, the laser targets the follicle and doesnt get wasted on hairs above the skin. She also advised me to keep my skin tone natural and not to tan or use tanning products as these can cause hyperpigmentation. I'm so happy I found a good laser spa and a knowledgeable nurse who cares for her patients!!! read more

While I'm here re-posting, I've since had my second appointment for micro-needling and my skin has improve so much! I'm very, very happy with the results and have my third appointment scheduled in a couple of weeks. My skin has NEVER looked this good. I absolutely LOVE this place and I'm pleased with the service I received from both the front desk and the nurse. Kim was very helpful over the phone, answering whatever questions I had for pricing, procedure and what I would need to do prior to my laser hair removal treatment. She also helped me book an appointment. The treatment was painless. I did my underarms, bikini and legs. The painless wasn't the best part, the price was!! I only paid $140 for all three areas (I've paid 10 times that in the past). They also had a special for $360 3 sessions which I will be purchasing next month when I return for my next appointment. I have gotten 3 micro needling with PRP treatments and recently got a hair restoration treatment with PRP. Initially I was skeptical to book an appointment because their prices were so low. I thought it was a scam. They're not!! My favorite nurse is Gladys. She's super friendly and I love how detailed she is. She is very experienced and does a very good job and my results are prove it. I have gotten 3 Laser hair removal treatments here at Skin Code and I am inlove with the results I am seeing. I now shave practically once every 6 weeks, just before my appointment.
