Highly recommend: Great service, very responsive, super nice/friendly/patient, and no hidden fees. Situation: My bike broke down on i-5 on Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. Get in contact: I called 5 different towing companies that are supposed to open 24/7 around San Diego and no one would come or some would say I have to wait until 8 a.m. I finally reached SD Towing and the person was extremely helpful and responsive. Easy to share my location: The first thing he asked was my location. I was not sure which part of i-5 I was at and I was able to share my location on messenger with him which makes things a lot easier. I told the person that I walked off the highway to one of the plazas near by and he even offered to pick me up. Constant update on his location: Unlike other towing companies I worked with before where you call and wait forever with no updates hoping that they will show up. SD Towing gave me a call to update his location 5 times while during my wait from "I am currently stuck in traffic" to "I am 15 mins out" to "I am 5 mins out". This makes the wait time feel a lot shorter knowing that the towing truck is on the way. Safety first: After the truck arrived, the person mentioned that it was not safe to tow my bike there since I pulled over at the left shoulder of the highway next to the carpool lane which is too small for the tow truck to park. Above and beyond service: I was worried that the person would just dip since it seemed to be complicated. Instead, the tow guy then called up the highway patrol to help block out the street so that he could safely load the bike. Patient: The tow guy was extremely patient throughout the entire process. Overall, it took a total of almost 3 hours that morning from 5:50-8:30 am with 1.) a 45 mins wait for the tow truck with constant updates, 2.) an hour and a half of wait for the highway patrol to come and block out the street, and 3.) the rest of the 45 mins to drop the bike off at the mechanics. Smooth ride: I would highly recommend if you have expensive cars/vehicles to use SD Towing given that the loading/unloading and dive were all extremely smooth compared to other towing services companies I worked with before. Great pricing: He didn't even charge for the labor time of an hour and a half of hours of circling and waiting around for the police to block out the street. It was the lowest towing rate I have so far (I have had the bike towed before and it was almost double the rate of SD Towing with a shorter distance). Positive/friendly energy: The experience with SD Towing was amazing. The person was positive and friendly through the entire process from me calling in at 5:50 am to dropping off the bike at 9:00 am. All other services that I worked with before were negative (either they are impatient, drive aggressively, extremely expensive with added change that was not talked about beforehand, etc.). I really do appreciate the time and services of services SD Towing! Definitely will be my go-to when it comes to towing around San Diego! read more

I needed to get my car off of the street for upcoming road work, but it was completely dead; couldn't even get it out of Park so that I could push it. I figured I would have to have the car towed 30 feet into my driveway! I called SD Towing and told the gentleman my situation. Instead of just sending a truck, he recommended a few things to try to get the car into Neutral. After a couple of tries, Huzzah! Success! My son and I were able to push the car into the driveway. I needed an rv towed from el cajon to ramonaon Sunday memorial weekend. I called my aaa provider roadside service (and I have extended miles and rv coverage) apparently there were recent changes to how rv trailers motorcycles are serviced and covered long story short I would have had to wait another 6 hours for service from aaa provider and owe out of pocket on the$995 quoted price to go 25 miles .aaa would pay 495 only! I called was told no other providers could do a flatbed tow. I went on my own second call was to sd towing and they said yes to the flatbed and quoted time of 1 hour wait and price of $475 . I was thrilled! They got to the location in el cajon in 45 min. Loaded rv and confirmed destination and paid withzelle in 10 minutes and off we went. I met then at the delivery site and they unloaded and parked my rv perfectly. I found this tow company to be quick , pleasant to deal with and REASONABLY PRICED! I highly recommend SD Towing and Dash and his crew for your towing needs. I will definitely be calling them on any tows that I need in the future especially when the wait time is a factor.
