This is a real scuba shop. I lived and dived on the West Coast for 24 years, and this is in the same league as the dive shops I dealt with there. Sea 2 Sea stocks a good selection of gear: including wetsuits, fins, dive computers, regulators and BC's. They have the top-quality gear as well as cheaper but solid alternatives. They have a knowledgeable technician in-house who can maintain your regulator and BC's. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. There's no hard sell. There are a couple of drawbacks. They don't have a pool in-house, so--unless you have access to another pool, as many do--you can't try out the gear in the water. The selection probably isn't as good as a major dive shop on the West Coast, but that's probably inevitable. This is my go-to dive shop when preparing to head off for some scuba diving. read more

The pool skills class was canceled and I wasn't notified even though it was scheduled a month in advance. I ended up going to Salt & Sea Scuba and had to pay again. I really enjoy the whole staff here! I took Open water, advanced open water, Nitrox, and Deep Dive certification with Collin. He is the man! He was very informative and let us go at a comfortable safe pace. I feel like the team is really interested in keeping everyone safe while making the whole process fun. I got good coaching and constructive criticism. Even when not in classes, Collin makes me feel comfortable reaching out and asking for advice with gear and next steps. I had a great experience getting my PADI Open Water Diver Certification with Sea 2 Sea Scuba. There's a lot to learn and a lot to accomplish but the staff made it fun and worked with me through all of the skills in a way that made the whole thing seem low stress and easy. Special shout out to my main instructor Colin who was fantastic and not afraid to call out the weakest diver with a smile. He made both the pool and lake days as good a time as they were instructive. We also got to work with James who not only was a great instructor but helped with great gear recommendations, dive recommendations for our upcoming vacation, and went above and beyond in working with our extremely limited schedule to get us the experiences and certifications we need to make the most of our vacation. The shop itself is great, with a fantastic selection of current gear at competitive prices. I overheard they do price matching but the stuff I bought was actually more expensive online. The sales people are knowledgeable, helpful and low pressure. I'll be staying with Sea 2 Sea as I continue my diving adventures. read more

I recently took PADI open water class with Jeff I & Jon F and Nitrox with Colin S. It was a fun, challenging, and "get out of your comfort zone" experience. Jeff has a lot of patience working with new scuba divers. I had some struggles with the mask skills during the course and he was able to provide techniques to help me be successful in completing them. Jon was very helpful during the course too, he had to carry my heavy gear bc I had an unfortunate minor injury (not during class). Bc of that I was able to finish the course before my big diving trip. And we made it to the full 60ft below in Lake Pleasant to earn the PADI certification. Colin was a great instructor for the nitrox course and fit me in in a narrow window. Thanks for all the help and fun! After almost a six year absence from diving, I decided I was ready to get back into this abandoned passion. I researched many shops online and figured I would give this place a try. This was one of the best decisions I have made. The people here are knowledgeable, passionate and treat you like a friend the second you walk in the door. If this was a bar, you would know it as Cheers. I have replaced all of my equipment, signed up for a trip in November and am eagerly pursuing advanced levels (originally certified in '98). I scheduled training for a full face dive mask. I showed up the day before training as asked by Sea2Sea to fill out paper work. When I arrived I was told that I was not put on the schedule and there were no instructors available to perform training the next day. I rescheduled the training for the next month. Unfortunately my scheduled changed and was not able to attend the new training date. I called them on Monday (training on follow Saturday) to cancel. I got voice mail and left message for them to call me back. On Wednesday I still have not heard back from them. I left anther voice mail message in the morning, and by 4:30 pm have still not heard back. I had to call my credit card company to get my charge reversed. It seems that this company is very disorganized. I will not recommend this company to others. read more

I dropped off a tanks to get filled over a month ago. Over that time I had left several voicemails, emails and popped in the shop twice. No one has any idea what's going at Sea 2 sea. I paid for scuba training but moved before I could ever do it. Even though they never worked with me at all they wouldn't refund me. They weren't out any money either so it's not like they had a loss. There wasn't a saved seat for me in any class (because I never signed up for a class) so it's not like they had to hold a spot either! This is a horrible way to do business! Just posted this on google reviews, but I'll throw it over here as well: I went to S2S Scuba last summer to obtain my open water cert in preparation for a trip to Turks & Caicos. I made the mistake of waiting until the last minute- I could not manage to do the mask removal/flood skills without sucking water up my nose and freaking out. S2S staff tried to be soooo helpful. One gentleman (I believe his name was Alan) took me aside and worked with me for almost an hour trying to help me get the skill. He gave me 50 different ways to try and none worked so I went home in tears. I called the shop to ask what I should do and a young woman answered (I wish I remembered her name). When I explained my situation she told me something like "none of the required skills are impossible for anyone, that everyone is capable with time and practice". This actually made a HUGE difference in my outlook. I grabbed the gear S2S had provided me, went into my pool (we are fortunate to have a pool but if I didn't I would have used my bathtub!!) and practiced for hours until I got the skills down! I was now confident and hopeful. I called the shop the next morning and Fred Fidler, my primary instructor, answered. He was willing to come over for a private session that week and caught me up with the rest of the class in preparation for the open water dives the upcoming weekend. I simply cannot say enough good things about Fred and the rest of the team, including Stetson and Ralph who were part of our course. I felt so incredibly well prepared, comfortable and most importantly safe with the thorough and not rushed training that I received with S2S. We did our open water dives in lake pleasant and couldn't see my hand in front of my face, but the way the staff prepared us for that experience and walked us through the skills- it was awesome! After that being my first OW dive anything was going to be an upgrade ;). I went on to do a ton of diving at Turks & Caicos, then on to Kona, HI and most recently to Savusavu, Fiji, including the Namena reserve with tons of pelagic mantas! To think I could have missed out on all of that if the incredible team at S2S was not there to support me!! read more

So disappointed in the complete lack of service we experienced at this shop. My husband and I dropped off two regs to be serviced 10 days ago and were told they would be done in a week. We called last Saturday and were told they weren't done yet. We called today and our regs are still sitting in the shop, untouched. My husband also asked the young woman (apparently she is the owner's niece) at the front desk to have the owner call him because he wanted to order a new dive computer. He left his contact information and never received a call back. When we called today we were told there were still 3 other regs needing to be serviced before the technician could get to ours. Good luck Sea to Sea. With such abysmal service, you too will be out of business in no time. read more

After visiting several Dive shops around the Valley I found my Cheers. I can not say enough about Sea 2 Sea and its staff. From my initial contact with Shop Staff I immediately knew that I would complete at-least one certification with them. They were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure that I was kept in the loop about shop actives and if I wanted, I was involved. I have since gone on to complete my Dive Master certification with Colin Schneider and Colin has proven to be one of the most knowledgeable and professional instructors I know. I would often tell he that his level of knowledge and professionalism rivals that of many of those I have worked with in our Military. And that his level of Dive knowledge is not only impressive but extremely motivating! I recently discovered Sea 2 Sea Scuba and am so thankful I did. Not only does Sea 2 Sea offer the best equipment in town, the staff and instructors are second to none. The sales and service I have received from Kaileigh, Ashley and Julia has been outstanding. I couldn't be happier. But, where Sea 2 Sea really excels is in their instruction. I have received training and certification from James and Colin. Both are exceptional. On multiple occasions, Colin has gone above and beyond his duties to assist me with equipment, fittings and techniques that has made my diving experiences so much more enjoyable. His kindness, passion for diving and willingness to assist is unsurpassed. I am looking forward to my next level of certification and couldn't imagine having an instructor other than Colin. Great SCUBA shop off the SR51. I have been diving since I was 15 but had not been in a classroom setting in a while. I decided to take on some new certifications prior to a trip Honduras in the fall and was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem tucked away in my backyard. As I got to know Scott and his team, I could tell that they really cared about their customers. Sea 2 Sea differentiates themselves from the other shops by focusing on student attentiveness and the ability to make the subject matter approachable. I would definitely recommend stopping in and taking a moment to speak with any of the team members as they are all enthusiastic about diving and all around good people. My first encounter with Sea2Sea was when I signed up for Advanced Open Water classes. I was lucky enough to get Colin as my instructor. Throughout the review of material and dives he made me feel safe and comfortable to ask any questions I had both in and out of the water. To this day, he is still willing to assist me with all things dive-related. Since then, I've felt such a great sense of community with the staff here, specifically with Kayleigh, James, and Ashlley. Each of these individuals have made my diving experience exponentially better with more time that passes. I can't thank everyone here enough! They're seriously the A team in the diving world and it warms my heart to know that they care so much about me! In addition to the incredible staff, this shop has a large assortment of equipment. This is pretty important to me, as I'm a petite person and I typically need much smaller sizes than what's usually carried in shops. With that being said, if you ever need any special order items, the staff does their best to get you everything you want/need. I'm writing a good long review because this shop has really gone the extra mile for me and I have been nothing but impressed with these guys so far. For a fairly new shop this place is top notch! Most importantly this shop as two very competent instructors with many years of diving who are highly skilled. As a tec diver this shop carries just about everything you need and has the tec training to go with it! If there is something you need right away the staff at this shop will do whatever it takes to get you what you need in a timely matter. I have tried almost every shop in town and thus far this has been the only shop who had been up-front, honest, and willing to go the extra mile. A perfect example was I needed a certain sized bolt snap that Sea 2 Sea did not have in stock at the time. Rather then beat around the bush or show a lazy attitude, they ordered in my bolt snaps right away and was just in time for a big dive I had to do. In fact they ordered several bolt snaps just in case we needed more or if someone else might need them. The prices are excellent and the staff is top notch and very helpful and friendly. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. If anything stop by and check out their inventory you will be amazed at just how much stuff they carry. Even though this shop is further away from where I live, it actually is at a very convenient location because of being right at Shea and the 51. Also not one dive shop in town matched their hours of operation. I quit going to my closet shop because I actually learned what good costomer service is and found out my old shop was very lacking. Horrible Vendor! Item was important for a vacation. Vendor did not deliver on time, nor did vendor ever contact me about the delay. I called the vendor several times and spoke with a salesperson (Dean) who says only the owner does the Amazon orders, and the owner (Scott) can't be reached. The salesperson claimed they had the items showing on their inventory, but he couldn't "lay his hands on them." In frustration, after waiting for a call back from the owner all day, I wheedled the owner's cell phone number from the salesperson. I called the owner, expressed my displeasure about the item not arriving on time, nor being contacted about any delay AND my credit card being charged for an item that was never shipped. He told me he located the item at another store and, as we were speaking, was on his way to FedEx to overnight the product, and he would email me the tracking data. The item never arrived, the owner never emailed or contacted me, and when I called Amazon, they told me the order was cancelled by the vendor and a "credit would be issued." While it didn't totally ruin my trip, it did make it more aggravating and frustrating. There are a lot of vendors that sell SCUBA gear online, I would strongly suggest that you use one of them, as I will in the future, and not buy from the unreliable vendor, Sea 2 Sea. read more
