    Their clean shrimp

Another hidden gem I found looking for a fresh seafood market on google. Pulled up there was a spot right outside which is always nice on the quiet maple shade Main Street. When I walked in I expected a quiet market but what i saw was awesome. A full dining room of people enjoying a Saturday lunch. I walked up to a GORGEOUS display of fresh fish and "ready to cook" delights. A case full of raw fish fillets and clams and next to it a huge case of homemade seafood favorites. Jumbo shrimp (raw and cooked) clean or not. Lobster tails, Lobster imperial, bacon wrapped scallops, stuffed Clams and so much more. I got a 6 Pack of huge crab stuffed mushroom and a pound of cleaned ( i was being lazy but this is why this place is awesome) and took it home to make a nice Saturday dinner. I threw the mushrooms in the oven at 400 for 35 minutes and sautéed some shrimp in cilantro and lime juice and it was so fresh I was amazed. The staff was awesome but being a chef myself the open window seeing their chef running 10+ sauté pans making it look easy was the best part. I took mine to go but I will definitely be dining in next time. Best part about it... it's AFFORDABLE.

Great seafood. A lot on the menu. Not too expensive for being seafood. Quiet inside. Greatly decorated. Clean. Easy parking.

Manhattan clam was very good. Asparagus crab soup was excellent. Cajun tuna was overlooked. Crab Imperial was good.

He had corn and zucchini as sides and the spicy crab soup, which I also tried and was very tasty.

Their products are excellent and their variety is absolutely AMAZING! Where else can you find Dragon Fruit Smoothie Mix (which is sooooo good), Veal Chops (scrumptious on the grill), Thick, Luscious Swordfish, Beef Tongue (which I cannot find anywhere else), Yuca, Plantain Slices, the list goes on and on..... oh, I mustn't forget to mention the Key Lime Pie (I ran out of superlatives...but you get the point. Wild Fork is always adding new items and are receptive to suggestions (I begged for Beef Tongue and surprise! about 6 weeks later it is an option) Their customer service is impeccable. For example, one day a delivery simply didn't arrive. The orders are trackable through Roadie, the delivery service they use, and the driver marked the order as delivered, but the photo showed it delivered to an apt. that definitely wasn't mine and was definitely not in my building. I tried to contact the driver through Roadie, to no avail - so I reached out to Wild Fork. While they and Roadie both were unable to locate the order or the driver, my order was refunded in full (including the tip) with no questions asked and when I opted to reorder for the next day -it arrived as is per usual, without issue. My only warning...make certain you have enough room in your freezer! Everything arrives frozen (dry ice included).

We were told it can be a little overwhelming with all the options and to look at the menu ahead...even so, there's just a lot to explore in the fridges from a variety of soups, fish, raviolis, and even pirogies! Let's talk crab cakes! It seems like we arrived a bit late in the day, as the stop-n-shop was already out of two (crab) cake options. We ended up choosing the Smith Style, Signature, and Imperial. (A big whoops on my part: J wanted the shrimp and Gouda, not the imperial...that's on me!) Flavor breakdown: - Smith Style was a classic un-breaded cake and it had a perfect ratio of crab to bread crumb. This one was by far my favorite! - The Signature is a Maryland-style cake and had some old bay flavoring (obvi). It was OK. - The Imperial was fine but lacked a little flavor J said. I highly recommend trying the special Sabi Sauce...it had a lovely horseradish kick. We also tried the lobster bisque and for a take-away soup it was still thick and creamy. While my husbands crab cakes are my favorite (I'm biased) this is a great local option.
