But they absolutely refuse to discuss price quotes via phone or email, which is a complete deal breaker for me, as well as absolutely flabbergasting in the year 2020. It would be flabbergasting if this was 2005. Why even bother having an internet department if you can't discuss pricing and negotiations VIA THE INTERNET? In today's world it just comes off as having something to hide, or a warning to expect the usual slimy dealership tactics that you have been warned about. I would not recommend, there prices are extremely on the high side. I'm visiting from California and I was borrowing my brothers 2008 Chevy Silverado with a small V-8 engine. The starter gave out while I was using the truck. My brother told me to have the truck towed to Sea Coast Chevrolet. They did a diagnostic and said the starter and a battery cable needed to be replaced. The repair price was $1,600 dollars. I searched the internet and on different consumer sites and the low and high prices for the repair on that vehicle was between $350 to $700 dollars. My brother said he couldn't afford the $1600 dollar price and the service writer came back with a second price of $1000 dollars. He said he could lower the price by not using AC Delco original parts and waiving the $149 diagnostic fee. The price was still way too high and it concerned us that he was able to cut the price almost $600 for the same work at a blink of an eye. I found another shop to do the repair for one third the price and the truck now runs fine. The sad part is we still had to pay Sea Coast Chevrolet the $149 dollar diagnostic fee. read more

If I could give this dealership 0 stars, I would. I purchased a 2016 Chevy Traverse (loaner) with 8750 miles I walked the car before I test drove the car, and it had 0 damage to the rear bumper. However, when I went to take delivery of the car on Saturday morning, I noticed that the car had been hit. I immediately informed Phil Russomano (who I would give 5 stars if I could) of the damage, and he had the Finance Manager fill out a "we owe" form, where they guaranteed they would fix the damage. I went to the dealership on Monday, February 13th, and Michael Turner, the General Manager on duty, agreed to replace the bumper cover. Flash forward to today, Tuesday 21st. I go to pick up my car, and the service member, Scott Maas, hands me my invoice. On the invoice, it says "fixed rear bumper." I was floored, and Scott showed me the invoice from the body shop. I go out to view the work that Maaco did. It's perhaps one of the worst paint jobs I've ever seen. From the clear coat drip on the left side, to the marks in the bumper, to the choppy sanding job on the edges, it looks like an amateur did the job. This is where Drew Anzalone comes in. I see Drew and tell him about the awful paint job and he begrudgingly agrees to see it. Drew replies that "he's already uptight about the car, because he gave the directive that the car's bumper was not to be fixed." I explained to Drew that I did a walk of the car, there was no damage. Drew, with a raised tone in his voice and pointing his finger at me, stated "so now you're calling me a liar?" I told Drew that I wasn't, and that I stated that I did a walk of the car, and there was no damage on Friday. But then on Saturday morning, it was there. Drew, fired up, walks away from me and says "I'm done." While walking away, I ask, "What am I to do, take it to Maaco?" Drew replied "yes." He then disappeared into the service area. That was unacceptable to me. I followed Drew in the dealership, and at this point, I started the video on my Iphone. I wanted to get his "customer service" on video. After 2 minutes, Drew walked out of service, and I went into his office with him. Drew was still fixated on the bumper damage. He started with quoting all the stats about the car to show how much he knew about it. He also stated he "sold the car for less than 25 grand, and that the bumper was damaged months ago." I told Drew that his dealership, filled out a we owe form, and that Michael Turner agreed to replace the bumper. Drew continued to say that the car was damaged while as a loaner. I told him that it's not an issue of when it was damaged, but fixing the problem. Drew told me, in his words, to "just bring the vehicle back to Maaco, and they'll fix it for you." I then said to Drew that I have to go out of my way to bring the car back to Maaco? Drew told me to leave the car there, take the loaner, and he'll send it back to Maaco and he'll "get it fixed." He then started to repeat himself, and I informed Drew that I heard him the first time. Drew replied, "You need to stop talking to me like that, because number 1, you looked me in the eye and called me a liar (I didn't)." I told Drew that he did the same thing when he said that my claiming of their being no damage on Friday was wrong. Drew replied, "No, cause I know. I know it was there, I know exactly what it was. It was a little, flat indentation on the side of the crease, because it's been there 3 months I've been trying to sell the car....It was on the car when you bought it, it was on the car when you drove it." Drew continued to complain about how much money he lost on the sale. I explained to him about how frustrated I was to buy a new car, have to return it within 2 days of buying it, having to wait a week to get it back, only to have it be an amateur job. Drew stated that he understood, and that the vehicle was damaged months ago. I told him "it doesn't matter and at this point, it's irregardless." Drew informed me that "there is no such word as irregardless...it's regardless." I told Drew "You can use either word, they're interchangeable, and he can google it, if this is what he wants do do, I don't care. You want to argue semantics with me?" Drew replied, "I'm going to argue semantics with you, cause I'm gonna tell you, and save you from using that word again." He googles it, and what do you know, irregardless is a word, and low and behold, its interchangeable with regardless. I told him, "therefore, you're wrong again. So take the foot out of your mouth and apologize." Drew refused and told me to have a nice day. 1: If the car was damaged months ago, the driver would have been responsible for the damage, and it would have been fixed. 2: What type of General Manager tries to correct a customer (a teacher, nonetheless) on his/her grammar? 3: In what world is this acceptable customer service? Had a terrible experience with Seacoast Chevrolet service department. Brought my vehicle in to be looked at for an issue that was covered under factory warranty. I dealt with a service representative named Nick who seemed to care less about my vehicle issue and or concerns, me and my wife were both treated without respect or common decency On 2 separate occasions, regarding the vehicle and the loaner vehicle which I had waited 2 weeks to receive which was filthy. After 3 days of my vehicle in their possession I had to reach out to them to find out what was going on. In my opinion the service department is not customer focused and not concerned with your personal satisfaction . Will definitely not be returning as a customer ever again. read more

I bought a used pickup Chevy Silverado Classic short bed, on October 29th, my salesman Dillon , I thought did a good job. While we were doing the paperwork Dillon had the truck washed. When I got in to show my daughter we realized the owner's manual was missing. It did not have any previous customer names or addresses in it. Just a stock owners manual. Dillion assured me he would get one and send it to me with the Tags. I had to call when the temporary tag's expired. Dillon told me the tags and owners manual were there and would send them out ASAP. Tags showed up about a week later and no owners manual. I called Dillon he said he didn't know why they didn't send it he would check on it and get back to me asap. I still haven't heard from him and it's been 2 weeks. If you make an agreement and shake a customers hand , stand by your word. If this was a big problem how would you handle that? I'm very frustrated. I have read all the Bad reviews this dealership has had. So my best guess is that I will not hear anything from them. If you read this before doing business with them, BEWARE they do not respond to voicemail messages. Their word /reputation means nothing to them. i need to take the time to recoginize the exceptional service i received this weekend. I had my truck towed into the facility late sat morning after breaking down in Ocean Township. The service advisor, Scott Mass wrote up the service ticket and discussed the issue with me. He was very informative and said he would try to get the truck looked at that same day. Not only did he get it looked at, the issue was diagnosed and corrected for a same day pickup at a very reasonable price. (total turnaround time - 4 hours!) We all all know it is hard to find a trusted, reputable mechanic these days. I found mine. Let me tell you something about this dealership. My 2015 Equinox started to have a small issue of stalling yesterday when you came to a stop. The engine threw a code of P0010. I called Seacoast this morning at 8am, had my appt for 1030am, I showed up at 1000am to ensure I was on time and by 11:10 I was on my way home. Even though I was told they were jammed up and would probably not get the car back until late today/tomorrow and guess what? It was fixed in a little over an hr.(I had to wait for a ride home from my wife at lunch time...they even offered to give me a ride home!!) I cannot stress that they squeezed me in and took care of my vehicle beyond my expectations. I am horrible with names, but I think it was Nick...(guy with the beard at the front service desk) was extraordinary and I cannot thank him enough. Great Service....Fantastic!! Now onto my sales experience from August of 2017: Phil Russomanno has to be the best salesperson I've have ever dealt with. No nonsense, professional and honest. No up selling, no bait and switch. He won't try and sell you on something you don't want or need. He takes the time to show you figures so you understand. He will make sure you are happy. My girlfriend was looking to get a new car and trade her in. She has had a lot on her plate recently and got some bad news so she had been crying all day and it made her nose stuffed up. She calls them to ask about pricing on trading in her car because she wanted to be productive and get something done and the dude on the line told her "are you sick?" She says no and he goes "well you sound sick don't come in here." And hangs up on her. She has tried calling back multiple times to try to talk to a manager but they keep hanging up on her. I don't know if it's because she has an accent so maybe that's it but I feel so bad for her. I never leave bad reviews and I'm not a Karen but I've never seen such a lack of professionalism or just blatant rudeness to some poor girl who just wants some help trading in her car. I've also noticed I'm other reviews it seems to be only women having this problem with this place which doesn't seem like a good pattern. Very disappointed! My daughter bought a 2013 Nissan and sadly, like most women, she was taken advantage of. She paid more than the value of the car and has had many problems with it, including dry rot in tires which the dealer claimed were brand new at purchase. Today, she was lied to by the salesperson when told that the service manager was out until next week and could not address the ongoing problems, but that manager, when asked for ny name, was reached at his desk less than five minutes later. Dishonest much?? Don't get too upset when trying to get assistance either. You'll be asked "who do you think you're talking to?" Yeah, that's the "customer service" that gives car salesmen the reputation they seem to enjoy. Disgusting! Go elsewhere!!!!!! Update: later today we actually spoke with the service manager who Phil, the lying salesman said wasn't even in. The service manager told us that Phil, the lying salesman had never even discussed the issues with him and he knew nothing about them. This despite the fact that Phil, the lying salesman had told us that he was waiting for the service manager to get back to him. Lie much Phil? How do you look at yourself in a mirror? You willfully placed a pregnant woman and her child in a car with dry rotted tires. Karma is cool Phil and what you send out, comes back. Good luck when Karma shows up to even things out. You'll need it! Follow up 11-30-18: cookie cutter response from Sea Coast to my review comments. This is the robot reply from people who have no intention of satisfying a disgruntled customer. Update to my original review based on dealer comment received: We had been trying to work through our concerns with folks at the dealership, Drew and his manager included. I have the email chain and lack of response from Management to prove it. Our phone calls were also not returned. I just happened to check Yelp today and saw his response to my review. However, there was no attempt from them to answer our direct emails or phone calls. I will never recommend this dealer based on its apparent lack of care for customer service, lack of quality control and mishandling of paperwork. We were promised things and expected a level of quality that was grossly lacking. Our requests were simple and yet were completely disregarded: (1)Provide 2nd key fob (as part of we owe paperwork that is 'missing'. I do have a text message that I can share from sales stating they owed us a 2nd "key/remote") (2) Complete a thorough review of the 172 point inspection by trusted & reliable party, due to incomplete sections of the STANDARD checklist and missing items from car at point of sale. (3) Provide tonneau cover. We looked at four other cars (same make/model) at four other dealers; all came with a tonneau cover. Given that other items within the CPO car were missing, we don't know what else went missing or was not looked at by the reviewers. We expected the same quality CPO from SeaCoast that we saw at other dealers. (4) Reimbursement or Chevy accessory credit for 4 trips (130 miles per trip) to resolve issues that should NOT have existed in a CPO sale. (5)Fix scratches SeaCoast made to the car exterior when removing the childish pin-stripping. After two details, SeaCoast was still unsuccessful in fixing the damage. read more

This was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. As an out-of-state buyer, I was issued 20-day temporary license plates and assured that my vehicle would be registered in that time. I've called several times to try and ascertain the status of my plates but as of today, with now expired temp plates, I still don't have my actual registration. I've gotten the runaround the entire time and when I asked to speak to the General Manager, he couldn't even take the time to call me. Purchased a Chevy Trax earlier this month. Young salesman (who was otherwise well versed and very nice to deal with) made a significant mistake - telling us the XM radio WAS available in the LS model. When we got home we realized that the radio was NOT XM ready. Chevrolet admitted that the salesman was mistaken- the LS does NOT offer XM radio. The sales manager admitted that it was their error. They offered to take the car back (an offer that was good for 24 hours - however we were not told that there was an expiration) and they offered to install an adapter for XM. (ridiculous in a brand new car) We asked for another XM radio to be installed in the car. They declined. I lodged a complaint with Chevrolet Corporate and hunted down the owner of this dealership to complain. All parties referred back to the decision making of Drew the Sales manager, who would not make it right. Beware of this guy. read more

No one will acknowledge my concerns or cares to make any attempt to make it right. I attempted to lease a traverse there. I did my research and came up with a fair price. When it was time to talk money I got a total of lease payments that was $5000 more than another local dealer. Their numbers never made any sense. Drew the manager, changed the interest rate from 1.6% to 2.6%. Be careful, it's easy to miss. I asked about it repeatedly and was told they can't change the rate "it's already in the computer." They also added my rebates back into the lease payment. Basically I was paying for my own rebate. After 90 minutes they took 4K off. Their shady behavior is what gives car dealers a bad name. I went to another Chevy dealer and got a more expensive traverse the next day, for less $ per month. If you want transparency go elsewhere. If you want a typical old fashioned dealership where you have to be careful to not lose your shirt. This is the place for you. read more

Dropped truck off at 8 am as requested on a Thursday, was told it would be done by EOD Friday. Called at approximately 4pm on Friday and was told "nothing was done." Huh? They said they would not touch the truck until Tuesday when the necessary parts got in. However, never received a phone call to let us know that the repair/service would take until Tuesday. If we hadn't have called, how would we have ever known?! Regardless, we were out of a car until Tuesday. Service department was extremely nasty when confronted about this wrongdoing, refused to allow us to speak with a manager, and lied about the right parts not being there. After our several phone calls, they finally told us that the parts were *magically* available and the job could be finished by Monday. Monday rolls around and we call to find out that the part was faulty and the replacement would not be in until Tuesday. Sigh. Another day without the car. FINALLY we received a call Tuesday afternoon that the truck was done. After several complaints, the one female manager was nice enough to give us $50 of the service. Kudos to her, but it was well deserved based on the treatment we received for the past few days. read more

Drew, the general service manager, requested I give him a call. Delighted to receive a response (nearly a month later), I gave him a call. He said he had no recollection and could not find my review on yelp to reference. I mentioned that I was calling because he had commented on the review and he said, "I am not sure who handles the yelp reviews", I guess he wasn't the one who commented even though the comment claimed to be him. I explained my experience with Sea Coast to him to the point of losing my breath. He asked repeatedly that I was sure it happened at Sea Coast, I said yes it was each time and even said the location is on Sunset Ave. Sea Coast is not a difficult name to remember, and I have the invoice in front of me, besides the point that this is not the first experience we have had with them. (Quality of the work by the mechanics has never been a problem, so they have been our service center of choice until now.) He seemed confused. I continued to explained and was told he would have the service manager give me a call, I said he was the one I was having the problem with so I don't see how that would help anything. He then said he rarely receives calls like this and he was surprised. I told him I wasn't because when we came it they seemed already in the mind set that we would be a problem for them and were on the defensive from the beginning. At this point Drew started to give me the "thank you for bringing this to my attention and if you need anything else to give him a call", I was not aware the conversation was over at this point since he did not say much other than questioning if it was the correct dealer (challenging my intelligence?) and that I was a rarity. I interrupted him to mention that I was told him write a letter to GM about my experience, but I wanted to work it out with Sea Coast before taking it to that point. He just repeated his goodbye speech and added to let him know when the result of my letter to GM. In the end, I again feel belittled as they did not seem to believe me when I said it happened at their dealership and that I was unintelligent enough to remember the correct name. I have been unheard, and continue to be unsatisfied in any form of follow response. I will be writing the letter to GM at this point because Sea Coast not only can not keep track of their customer reviews, but they do not know who is responsible for dealing with the reviews, nor do they have any remedy other than to give them a call if I need anything. Never again will I need anything from Sea Coast. read more
