I have been a customer for decades but once the ownership changed it has gone down hill fast. My 2024 Lyric has been in the shop 3 times and handled poorly. Twice it was due to a defective battery which for an fully electric car is completely disabling. Both times it took days to fix and there were no real updates on it without our asking multiple times. Emails were not answered nor was a loaner offered and no apparent concern for my inconvenience and being stranded. Though it was their defect I had to pay for towing and it really felt like they couldn't care less. I had problems before this and tried to be understanding but this is just too much. By the way we leased a new caddy for my daughter from them last month, and my other daughter bought one at the same time. Absolutely no consideration for our loyal patronage! I am so hesitant in leaving this review; however, I am also so very disappointed with how sideways this experience was for me... So, here goes... This was my First time with Gold Coast. I called a few days prior to going there, gave all my New & Current Car info to Sales (Tiffany) who in my phone call introduced herself as My Sales Associate. I gave her My Mazda Car Info & My interest in purchasing a Cadillac XT4. She assured me they had many cars I could look at & also had a White XT4 with Light Interior I could see. Tiffany assured me with all the info I gave to her prior that she could have all Car Info prepared... I was So Hopeful. When I got there Tiffany approached me & introduced me to "A Guy Salesmen".. He was going to be my Sales Associate. Tiffany advised me "She is not a Sales Associate" & also advised me she did not have Any Information regarding My Car to trade or My car I was looking to purchase. Essentially, she had nothing & passed me off to a Sales Guy. He asked me what my Payoff was for my Car?? Seriously, you think I have this info.? Your the Sales Guy.. !! Told him the car I was looking for.. There was conversation not related to leasing a car.. I wanted him to let me know what the financials were for leasing a car & this just went round & round... He needed My Vin # (gave this to Tiffany days ago).. I got this for him. What I needed were Figures, Costs.. Finally he came back to me with a Crazy High Deposit & Lease Payments beginning @ $600.00 Plus a month. Then I was informed they only had 1 Car on the showroom floor & it wasn't what I was looking for... I wanted a White Car with Light Interior... They had Nothing at their dealership... Tiffany assured me there were many cars for me to look at. By far the most unprofessional sales experience I ever had. I was so disappointed b/c Gold Coast is said to be a Class Act Dealership. I couldn't even try to give this a Few Stars. I have No Stars... So I have to look elsewhere, keep hopeful & hope there are Honest Dealerships to try in the area. I had an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, etc and, for a change, I was going to wait for it. Stefan indicated it would be about an hour but, to my surprise, it was done sooner. There were a lot of people waiting so they were busy. It was a very pleasant surprise to have the car vacuumed and they got it washed. They used to hand us a card for a free car wash so this was a really nice touch. I was surprised to see a notice at the service desk indicating that they will be passing along the credit card surcharge if you pay by credit card. While I "get" it, that is the kind of thing that previous management wouldn't ever have considered passing along to the customer. That disappointed me. I have a maintenance plan so it didn't affect me but it made me feel like Gold Coast lost just a little of their World Class edge. read more

New car sales are not high pressure, the salesman just help to guide you, it's such a pleasure. The service department is great ! They run on schedule and the prices are fair. They protect your vehicle with floor mats, seat covers and steering wheel covers. They also leave you with a cleaner vehicle than when you went in ! The worst service I have ever experienced, they were so bad at providing any call backs time lines , and a loaner that I actually paid $450 to tow it all the way to flemington where I bought the Escalade to get proper service. I had to call over ten times and get transferred around and wait on hold for 20 minutes at a time just to get no answers, then when they promised me a loaner to be dropped off at my house they just kept increasing the time and it never happened. Having been a customer of Goldcoast for over 10 years I feel I've been generous in attempting to deal with them directly as opposed to a negative review. Not anymore. Never since I've owned my 2017 ESV has my car ever been serviced & come back to me cleaner than when I left it. Its beyond frustrating & it ponders the question, WHY, why return to a dealer who can't do a simple oil change without making a mess. I always felt having documentation from the dealership in terms of service records was the right thing to do....I'm starting to think that's not important anymore...don't offer to vacuum my car, advertise you did & then don't. Definitely don't advertise my car is "cleaner than when I left it". Because it NEVER has been. & Definitely don't advertise you offer loaner cars when they are NEVER available. I even asked the guy very seriously if the car was a LEMON bc it was a used Caddy, priced very low, and he said "No" as he shoved "car sold as is" paperwork for me to sign. Shady business. If this place has a deal thats too good to be true, pass on it. I would never purchase from here again. The icing on the cake was when I found papers in the glove compartment from the previous owner. Apparently the previous owner bought this LEMON from Gold Coast and because it didn't work, he sold it back to them as a trade in for another car. They must have taken the car back because they knew they dishonestly sold him a LEMON aka "AS IS". A bunch of crooks. I have prob already put in the same amount I spent on the car trying to fix it. I am very close to junking the car as it was a waste of money and everytime I get it fixed, something else comes up. I have had it for 4 months! 4 months! Very disappointing from this "reputable" dealership. Don't buy any used cars from here that sit in their back back lot to the far right behind the trees. They are all crap. Good lookers, but crap.
