After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. (Edit: the food that we took home was delicious and beautifully presented but couldn't overshadow the service and unwelcoming presence)

The first thing you see is a spacious open area that has several booths along the wall & an opening to the main dining area that houses the beverage area and numerous tables & booths looking out onto the street. There are mounted televisions surrounding the room & music playing in the background. The Servers are professional, pleasantly inviting and friendly. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad.
