I stayed here for 2 nights and drove down to P-town from Boston in the dark. I arrived just before 9 pm and checked in and they had some complimentary pound cake! When I got to my room, it reminded me of an older style roadside motel motor lodge where you park and then walk to your room. But the parking lot is down a level so you have to walk up several steps to reach the rooms. The motor lodge building is one of several though. There are other buildings behind and to the side that surround a quad that has trees, gardens and chairs. My room was large and a little spare, but there was a curtain hanging off its rod so it looked a little sad. But the next morning I woke up and opened the blinds and saw how gorgeous the grounds were and suddenly looked much better (but I hope they fixed the curtain hanging off its rod.) There was complimentary breakfast in the lobby. As I walked down, I admired the landscaping, lots of flowering bushes and shrubs. The Inn is set high on a hill and so it is quite private. I also took a walk and the Inn is very close to the ocean. You can walk one way and walk into town, or go the other way and you are walking along sand dunes and the ocean. If you are looking for a special place to stay, you should consider staying here. read more

We came up for a wedding in Ptown last weekend and had chosen the Seaglass as it looked a little on its own, offering a nice pool, breakfast and a shuttle that ran into the center of town which was quite a walk away. When we checked in they said the shuttle service was out. No idea if and or when it might come back. It would have been helpful to know that ahead of time but we just walked a lot more than I thought we would. Being in our mid sixties we could handle it, except when my date wore her high heels to the rehearsal dinner and actual wedding ceremony. Ended up getting the pedi-cabs for those events. We lived. The actual room was ok, kind of like a renovated motel. The room had a funky mildewy smell that was so bad we had to open the front and bathroom windows in addition to running the ac. Bathroom was definitely clean but older looking. I think my parents had those same floor tiles in their bathroom in 1965. The pool was nice and the breakfast was ok. Yogurt, fruit cups, muffins and different flavors of quiches. People were all very welcoming. read more

On my way home from a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff was so lovely. Property gorgeous. Clean rooms. I have dietary issues so brought my own breakfast and ate some fruit they had. My husband and friends loved the pre order choices. They also had yogurts, cereal, oatmeal available. Pool area was lovely. Towels provided as well as noodles and pool floats. Pool was heated. I've been coming to the Seaglass Inn for about 10 years. The pool and grounds are lovely, and it is a short walk into town. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer some great amenities, including a free shuttle service into town, complimentary breakfast, and a poolside food and drink service. The reason for a 3-start rating is that the owners have lost some key long-time staff (Pat at the front desk, Drew at the pool, and the woman who took care of the landscaping) and haven't replaced them. This has hurt the service and quality of the Inn. For example, the pool isn't maintained to the same standards as it used to be. They provide pool towels, but ran out of them before noon one day during our stay, even though there weren't many people at the pool. They no longer provide daily housekeeping services - they only offer it every third day. And they no longer provide muffins and other pastries at the complimentary breakfast bar. You have to order them a day in advance if you want them for breakfast. read more

Overall this is a great choice. Especially loved the grounds and saltwater pool. Everything is kept quite pristine and so nice to sit outdoors under the honey locust trees with soft wind chime to relax and enjoy a good book. The room is an upgraded motel room. Comfortable bedding, nice finishes and great housekeeping. Good A/C. Continental breakfast though not elaborate is very good and most mornings had quiche to order the night before, with other good options. Great location on the west end. Would return. read more

I think they staff make this place a five star spot. Just thinking back to any place I've ever stayed and this place communicated with me the most. Checking in to ensure I was happy with the stay and just letting me know what's going on. We stayed in the late off-season, with a few weeks to go until Memorial day. A lot of the rooms overlooked the pool, but ours also had a nice view of the sea. There wasn't a continental breakfast due to Covid, so you would place your food order ahead of time and it was brought to our room at times we selected. I was already awake, but it was always a nice wake-up call for my wife, so she wouldn't sleep the day away. We walked from the Inn to the town almost daily. It was a nice walk and since you have to pay to park, why not? The whole stay in Cape Cod and P-town was enjoyable because of this spot. If we ever return, we know where we'll be staying. read more

What a beautiful and quaint hotel located in Provincetown! While not exactly downtown, it is just a 15 minute walk to the main Commercial Street area! The Inn itself is very cute. There is a big outdoor pool with ample seating area. The landscape is well kept. There is breakfast included every morning. Rooms are standard and clean. A little pricey for the weekend we went which we didn't realize but was Carnival weekend but definitely worth it! read more

The Seaglass Inn is on the west side of PTown. It's a walk-able distance to the main downtown, but if you have luggage or don't feel like walking the hotel has a free shuttle that runs on the half hour to take you to the ferry, dinner or where ever. The hotel isn't staffed 24hrs a day though. While most things you will want to do are downtown about a mile away, there is a bike rental store and a good spot for lunch just across the street from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable. The door of the room opened to the outside and each room had two chairs outside of it and a table. Whether your room was on the 1st or 2nd level or overlooked the pool or parking lot it was quiet regardless and enjoyable to sit outside. The beds were comfortable; the shower pressure was good. The room was carpeted. There could have been a few more plugs. The free WiFi was fast when it worked, but it kept kicking me offline. Breakfast is included and consisted of two types of quiche daily, OJ, coffee, water, bakery, yogurt, granola, cereal and bananas. I was pleased with the breakfast and enjoyed the daily hot quiche. Coffee (K-cups) was also available in the individual hotel rooms. Water and chocolate chip cookies were available all day in the lobby. The pool had plenty of comfortable chaise lounge chairs and towels were provided. It was a nice place to relax. All the staff I encountered from the housekeepers to the shuttle driver to the front desk staff were friendly and personable and really extended a warm welcome. While big in PTown terms, this Inn is botique hotel size and the same staff are there daily and definitely remember you each day. ​ I would stay here again. read more

July 2023, we have been coming here for years. Love this place because of the great service by staff. The Breakfast in the morning is wonderful. Also they have a coffee and tea in the office and cookies and cake in the late afternoon. The Seaglass is the Best Place in P-Town for everyone to stay at if you want to relax. However, we we're trying to relax by the pool, but couldn't because there were a bunch of young children fighting and pushing each other by the pool edge, yelling and screaming, and jumping into the pool. In my opinion this is not relaxing, and why aren't the parents controlling their kids. Don't get me wrong I love kids but, if these were my kids they would not be screaming at the top of their lungs and pushing each other by the pool edge for safety reasons. Besides, this is not their backyard, and the pool needs to be enjoyed by everyone. Maybe very large signs with POOL RULES could be posted in the pool area with Do's and Don'ts. Now switching to another topic. If you don't feel like walking into town you can sign up for a ride in the electric cart a service that takes you into town and picks you up u til 8:30pm. All and all, we look forward to staying here in the future. read more

Our first tine staying at the Seaglass Inn and Spa. I have to say this is the best place We've stayed in Ptown. Rooms are much bigger then your normal Ptown hotel and quite lovely. Pat and Peter the managers are amazing and so very friendly. They serve a continental breakfast that is oh so delicious and delivered at the time you request. The pool is amazing (wish it was heated sooner) and a short 15 minute walk into town. We were only staying two nights but booked a 3rd just because. Well I don't get the 5 star reviews. This is an old motel that's been renovated. Rooms are spartan with 7 foot ceilings. A little claustrophobic. The place is clean and bedding OK. You can't get coffee until 8 AM. That's ridiculous. You order some muffins and quiche to pick up at a designated time in the morning. If you like cold quiche this is your place. They are paranoid about Covid. Masks required in the lobby. I know they are trying hard. read more

My Dad and I stayed here for 1 night when we were visiting the Cape in late September. A really gorgeous time to be here. The beaches were quiet! But P Town was still lively as ever, which was nice because we love the activity that Commercial Street has -there's always fun stores to shop at and nice restaurants to eat at. Seaglass Inn was a great choice to stay -just a little bit outside of town but in a really pretty area. The hotel has an electric car that staff can drive you in and out of town -they just require that you reserve 30 minutes beforehand. It came in handy when we wanted to go into town for dinner later at night and didn't feel like walking. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor and the room was huge, for having two queen beds. The bathroom was nice, as well. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming upon arrival. Checking in was a cinch and they even had a cookie jar with DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies (I would LOVE the recipe for those, by the way! I ate so many and loved them!!) There is a complimentary table of goodies and snacks available all day, as well as fruit-infused ice water. Breakfast was amazing. Guests came and went all morning, the same area where you check in. It is buffet and everything is delicious! I would highly recommend staying here -there are so many nice areas on the Cape but a little time in P-Town is never a bad idea :) This hotel is a great location. Traditional resort motel, on a hilltop at the West End of Provincetown. Large, spacious rooms with a sitting area out front. Two comfortable queen beds with four plump pillows each provide a good night's rest after busy days of activity. Modern bathroom clad in white subway tiles with pedestal sink, premium toilet, a stall shower and spa shower head. Double closet with sliding doors. Could use a few more hangers. There's also a large armoire with a Keurig, small fridge and space for storage. There's a freestanding "fireplace" which seems to function as a gas or electric heater, though we did not use it. It almost seems the space would be better used for a sofa. There are 2 rattan chairs on either side of the fireplace which are fine for putting on socks and shoes but not good for much more than that. There's a built in motel air conditioning unit which worked perfectly and was quiet. Windows are covered with floor to ceiling drapes: both room darkening as well as lighter, light filtering ones. The grounds are truly lovely and well maintained. Beautiful lawns, hydrangeas and other perennials punctuated the grounds, where the multiple two-story wings encircle the pool area. The pool is from 4 to 8 feet and is filled with heated salt water. It's quite comfortable, surrounded by nice lounge chairs, table and chair groupings and plentiful towels. The pool closes at 8pm. The breakfast is plentiful, delicious and staff constantly attends and refills it. The coffee, yogurt, baked goods and juice are all top quality and worthy of a boutique corner bakery. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient, answering all questions with alacrity, providing information helpful to newcomers as well as old hands. A hotel shuttle is available on the hour and half hour and just has to be scheduled with the front desk. There's also a fire pit which staff will light on request. The fact that the capacious resort is located on a hilltop means that it is very bright and sunny, although there are large ornamental trees here and there for shade. There's a spacious, open feeling to the resort which is a rare quality in Provincetown. read more

Absolutely love the sea glass inn. It is super cute and charming. Located a short distance from downtown it is the perfect getaway. They also offer a shuttle downtown which is super convenient (we took the shuttle downtown but walked home). Upon entrance we were greeted with friendly staff, the most delicious orange water you have ever had, a view of a beautifully landscaped courtyard and pool. The room is clean and well appointed and there was classical music playing when we entered. From our window had a view of the bay! We only stayed here for one day/night but took full advantage of the pool, and the way better than average continental breakfast (veggie frittata, meat frittata, hard boiled eggs, delicious pastries, and even gluten free options- bagels,yogurt,fruit) We relaxed at their pool for hours before we checked out and enjoyed fluffy towels, more delicious water and fresh melon! read more

Amazing hotel on the top of a hill. The best part of the Seaglass Inn and Spa was by far the electric car they use to shuttle you around! It was so convenient to be able to call or stop into the desk and ask for a ride to your destination and then they also will pick you back up. All the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable which made all our interactions that much better. The pool area was amazing too which included orange infused water and a large selection of pool toys and floats to use as well as music playing in the background which was a nice touch. The room was updated, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was also very convenient also! Definitely will be back again! read more

A wonderful retreat in Provincetown! Very close to the action but feels much more quiet and peaceful- perfect walking distance from the west end! Our rooms were spotless and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved spending a few hours by the pool- plenty of sunny and shaded seating and very clean pool- and loved the wind chimes and outdoor couches. We especially appreciated the very carefully packaged breakfast (per covid protocols) delivered to our room promptly each morning- plenty of fuel for a day of fun! Excellent location for beaches as well! The shuttle to downtown was cute too! We'll certainly be back next summer! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place--stayed here during Labor Day and everything from the staff, to the pool, and the rooms (more on that later) were fantastic. It's a bit of a walk to the main drag on Commercial St but it's closer to the beach (still would need to bike), but it is quiet up on a secluded location far up on a hill. Breakfast is complimentary and there are delicious cookies in the lobby in the afternoon along with tea and coffee. The pool is heated and has towels and complimentary orange/lemon water to stay hydrated. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and due to setup of the property, the rooms surround the pool and it truly does feel like a "home away from home" type vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bathrooms are very 1950s--while clean and effective they could use a refresh. I also had some problems with the cold/hot control of the sink. Overall, this is a fantastic little gem in Ptown and I'd highly recommend it. It's a perfect fit between the crowds and the seclusion that can be had at this hotel up on the hill! read more

I Ioved my stay here. The continental breakfast was fantastic. Hard boiled eggs, fresh baked pastries, English Muffins, Oatmeal, yogurt, and even a gluten free selection of oatmeal and muffins. Flavored water, tea, and coffee available all day. The pool is great with towel service, tranquil and has a great decor of bamboo and other greenery around the the pool - and a fire pit in the yard too. Rooms were clean and spacious. One of the things that makes this hotel is the cool little electric golf like cart shuttle service into town. It is definitely walk-able (about 15 min) but if you scheduled ahead they will take you in our pick you up. The only reason I gave this a 4-star instead of a 5-star is because the bathrooms are very outdated. The rooms are contemporary in feel but our bathroom was a pink throwback to the 70's. Making the bathrooms in the rooms like the one in the lobby would be my only recommendation. Otherwise a great experience, with friendly and accommodating staff. I couldn't imagine a more ideal place to stay in P-town (if you're looking to stay somewhere peaceful). The staff is firm (on occasion) but typically kind and courteous. They offer complimentary parking, complimentary breakfast, complimentary baked goods throughout the day, complimentary wi-fi, complimentary towels at the pool, and a complimentary transportation. I hesitate to give a review because I don't want the secret of the Seaglass Inn to get out. But that's never stopped me before.... The Seaglass Inn is a great option for lodging in Provincetown. Staff is accommodating and kind. The pool is lovely, clean, and HEATED! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and I love the wind chimes out back. Breakfast is better than simply Continental. It's not like this is a gourmet meal, but there are several healthy options considering that there's not a full-service restaurant on the premises. I love the spacious rooms. Bedding is 100% cotton and mattresses are firm, clean, and comfortable. I read a review saying that the bathrooms are outdated. While there is a configuration problem with getting into the tub since it butts up against the sink, I actually LOVE the green tile and old-school bathtub. I hate tacky and cheap bathtubs, so you'll get no complaint from me. Since the quality of the bathtub and tiles barely exists any more unless one is in the luxury category of consumer (I am not), it would be a shame and waste to remove these for some aesthetic-only reason. I have a fondness for the now-outdated green tiles. They are a charming nod to a previous era. If you are looking for a romantic place, Seaglass may not qualify as much as some of the boutique inns in Ptown, but for a comfortable and affordable option, Seaglass is my new go-to place. The location can't be beat for convenience both to downtown and Herring Cove Beach/bike trails. Highly recommended. read more

I stayed here in the Spring for a ladies weekend. It was last minute as my friend and I wanted to get a quick trip in before the busy summer began. The price was really reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this inn. The rooms were decent sized and super clean and very modern. The front desk staff was very friendly and the amenities such as fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and a sizable breakfast were great touches. The downside is that it is a little bit of a walk to downtown Provincetown but offseason driving and parking in town was less of a problem. We did enjoy the local bike company and the very close proximity to the national seashore. read more

Stayed at Seaglass for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. Got a great discount for booking very early, but I think their regular prices are fair. Pros: Clean room, amazingly comfortable bed, air conditioning, relaxing pool area, plentiful breakfast, very friendly staff, cookies and snacks. This place isn't in the center of town, but it isn't too far to get around and walking through Provincetown is part of the experience! There is also a free shuttle that guests can book very easily. Cons: Only one - spotty internet service (and cell service), which staff was up-front about when I booked. I enjoyed disconnecting during vacation but I imagine this could be an issue for some. read more

My wife and I stayed here for a few days as a mini-honeymoon. Everything down to the maid service was perfect and we loved every moment of being here. Our room was spacious and clean and had a large tub. We also had a lot of privacy which was great. The front desk staff is knowledgeable about the area and makes great recommendations without making us feel like a burden. We also took advantage of the spa and got a couples massage. It was so relaxing and wonderful. We literally debated calling into work ill to stay longer. The whole weekend was great! read more

Came in early on a Saturday morning via the Boston ferry... The hotel sent complimentary taxis and their shuttle (too far to walk with heavy bags). We weren't able to check in early but the hotel was extremely accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags with them. We used the shuttle many times over the weekend which was a big money saver since the cabs are so expensive. Both mornings there were ample amounts of food to snack on- amazing muffins, scones, English muffins, coffee/tea and fruit. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Best of all was the pretty landscaping and setup in the pool area... The staff was very helpful setting us up with coolers, ice, etc to enjoy our Saturday evening. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we asked they gave great directions and suggestions to town and for restaurants. And as mentioned above, setup taxis and their shuttle service which was much appreciated. Overall this was an extremely fun, clean, beautiful place to stay. It is about a 15 minute walk to town which was not too bad- quicker if you have a bike or take their shuttle. Also close to Herring Beach if your plan is to hit the beach. I would highly recommend it and plan on staying there again when I go back!! read more

Just got back from Memorial Day weekend and we loved our stay at Seaglass. The folks who work there are super nice and very accomodating. We had a slight issue with the room after we checked in and they immediately resolved the issue. The continental breakfast is awesome. Good coffee too. The place itself is quiet being up on a hill away from Commercial St. But they have a shuttle which will take you to and from the action. They have outdoor seating and an outdoor heated pool. My one negative is that the housekeeping could have been a little better. That being said, if you ever have an issue the folks there would respond quickly...I just didn't mention it because it really wasn't that big of a deal. Great place! Amazing stay! We checked in for a "girls family weekend" and couldn't have been happier! From the moment we walked in, Julie at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. The front office is bright, warm and inviting. The rooms are everything you could want and more. Awesome renovations from the gas fireplace, to one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and the shower...to die for. My team and I reserved three rooms during the Ragnar Cape Cod event, staying one weekend in early May from Saturday - Monday. I have nothing but love for this resort. Checking in and out was a breeze, the staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful. The staff went far out of their way to assist us and really succeeded in making us feel special. The continental breakfast was absolutely fabulous - when you visit, make sure to snag a chocolate croissant, they go quickly! I cannot recommend Seaglass enough. Five stars!
