Steve and Dave and the Aerie staff made our week stay an amazing and relaxing one. The Aerie House is a well maintained, clean, quaint 3 story home with daily housekeeping, complimentary hot/cold breakfast, large outdoor deck, jacuzzi, and bikes! Some rooms have private baths while two bedrooms share two 3 piece bathrooms. It was a full house while we were visiting but never felt cramped or had to wait for shared bathroom. On rainy days or when you might feel like hanging out, Steve and Dave even have a library of DVDs and daily newspapers. Being a dog friendly B&B, and since Steve and Dave have their own dogs, we brought our two miniature schnauzers with us. They love it! Will visit and stay again! read more

Gorgeous hilltop views all day and evening of Commercial Street and the PTown harbor? Check!! This place came highly recommended by fellow Yelpers and all I can say is THANK YOU!! I ended up renting "The Eagles Nest" which is the top floor, two bedroom, one bath unit at the Guest House which had daily, spectacular, water views!!! (2 adults / 2 medium dogs) I picked this particular room since - it was dog friendly - but also offered a mostly outdoor but private entrance - steep stairs but worth the effort once you get to see the view! This was literally my first time EVER staying at a bed and breakfast and having that option (of not walking through the house every time we came and went)...made me feel more like I was at a hotel / resort! The soaking tub was large and comfy - the jets were not all that great but I still found time twice to take a little soak in it, during our stay. The gas fireplace was a nice touch and actually produced quite a bit of heat which, was a nice touch for us and the dogs on a cold, windy night. Each morning there was either buffet style breakfast or breakfast cooked to order by Dave. Each day had an assortment of bagels with spreads, muffins, oatmeal, granola, assorted cereals, granola bars, fresh fruit, yogurts and juice. I was very happy with this aspect of the stay and even though I at first thought we would bring breakfast up to our room (trays are provided) - we ended up staying in the common area and swapping stories and restaurant experiences with other friendly guests. I really liked all the space we had in this top floor room and the private wood deck...if the weather were warmer - I can see spending a lot of time out on that deck in those loungers! It was also nice because the dogs could go outside and sniff the ocean air - without us worrying about them getting out (there is a gate at the top of the deck stairs as well as another gate at the actual properties exit)..... We did brave the elements (40 Degrees and Windy) one night and tried out the hot tub on the first floor - this thing was awesome! Hot (but not ridiculous) and the jets were amazing!! I did notice a 2 person max. sign which I found odd...but after giving it some thought while having cocktails with my BFF in said hot tub...I wouldn't really want to be that close to strangers in my bathing suit anyway!....We went down around 9 PM and got out just before the 10 PM closing time. The only bad part was the run back up to the room! (Next time I will bring a robe from home just for this!) This place was a great "HQ" for my latest PTown adventure... Yelpers were correct and I am now a huge fan! Give this place a try for your mid winter getaway if you need some quiet time - or go all in and book it during the summer when PTown and all of its characters are out in full force - if nothing else, you will have a safe, clean and comfortable place to come back to each night! read more

We decided to visit Provincetown to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found this inn on Bringfido.com. We don't go anywhere without our boxer, and considering how the innkeepers have two labs of their own, we felt right at home the minute we walked in (which was around 9:30pm thanks to Connecticut traffic). We stayed at the Aerie House, not the beach club. Sometimes you can tell that an inn is pet friendly, but our room was immaculate. Electric fireplace, lounge chair and couch, two tvs, and a glorious bathroom fitted with a respectably sized closet. Did I mention the glorious bathroom? Tub, steam jets, beautiful tile floors and walls, 3 different lighting options. Breakfast every morning included 3 warm food options, a plethora of bagels and types of toast with local jams and jellies, cereal, oatmeal, daily fruit salad, and hot coffee with 3 creamers and all your dairy dreams. The relaxing atmosphere, cozy quaint views, and walking distance to down make this place a winner. No wonder they've won several trip advisor accolades. Thoroughly Relaxed!! Our stay at the Aerie Beachhouse apt. 4 was exactly what we needed. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to see the sun shining across the bay. The deck and adirondack chairs provided us a private space to enjoy or coffee. The apt. has a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to feel like we were home. We cooked dinner and watched the boats come back to the docks. Everything is within walking distance. The delicious, made to order breakfast and availability of the hot tub at the Aerie House was an huge added bonus. The owners were pleasant and professional. We just got back from Ptown and cant wait to plan our next one! This is the nicest B&B we have stayed at and the breakfast was so yum and home made (umm particularly having warm vegetarian options will win me over any day). This is a great little B&B in P-town. We spent a couple of nights here and they took great care of us. Huge spread for breakfast and great coffee (They insisted it was regular folgers french roast, but thats hard to believe). The innkeepers were great hosts and helped us have a great little vacation, we could have stayed there for ever. Get room #2 for a nice view. We definitely plan to be back here - we hardly got to make full use of all the facilities (hot tubs, bicycles, etc) and extras Steve & Dave provide. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in early May, and it was simply lovely! We stayed in room #6, the teensiest (and hence, cheapest) of the lot! Plenty of space for our purposes. Steve and Dave were great--they were happy to offer recommendations on places to eat, and were very kind in allowing us to use their bikes a few hours past our check out time. Oh, and did I mention there's a hot tub?? Breakfast was delicious! The spread was overwhelming: eggs, bacon, freshly baked blueberry coffeecake, cereal, any topping you could possibly desire for your toast (nutella!!!)....I could go on. This place is such a treat. I went on a weekend over february vacation for a trip by myself and they were super accommodating. I got room # 5, which was about seventy or so dollars a night on the off season. It was a fantastic room with everything I needed. The shared bathrooms were spotless and great and I didn't mind sharing at all. Breakfast was AMAZING. Tater tots and quiche and so many fruits. I was spoiled. DEFINITELY coming back soon. read more

This place is a real find! We stayed in one of the Beach Club apartments in late March. The space was clean, quiet, bright, and pleasantly decorated--not too froofy, not too modern, with all the details from the teapot to the mirrors thoughtfully and tastefully chosen. The apartments all have stellar views of the ocean and walk out to their own stretch of beach. Our dog was welcome for a small fee ($10/nt), which made the trip much easier on us. The apartments themselves are right on the boundary between the center of town (you can see the library) and the galleries of the quiet East End. So it's quiet and peaceful but completely walkable to anywhere you want to be! The owners, Steve and Dave, are really pleasant and wonderful guys. We didn't see any of the rooms in the guesthouse but the common areas there are really elegant and comfortable. Breakfast is *outstanding* and far beyond continental--frittata, muffins, and delicious pan-fried tomatoes, all homemade by Steve, in addition to a lovely fruit salad and a wide array of cereals, oatmeals, juices, and bread products. We ate our breakfast in the guesthouse's sunroom, which is peaceful and overlooks the town and the bay. Extras: They have a huge and varied DVD collection for you to choose whatever you like during your stay. They also give guests comment cards for reviews of area restaurants, so there's a little chart of restaurant suggestions when you arrive. Beginning to end, a wonderful stay. The price--even with the great winter rates--felt like a splurge for us, but once we got there, we realized our stay was worth every penny. Our only complaint was that we had to leave at the end of the weekend! ;) read more

Steve and Dave are most gracious hosts that one could imagine. My partner and I with dogs in tow have been visiting both the Beach Club and the B&B on the hill for the past 15 years. The accomodations are superb, the full breakfasts splendid, and the bikes, hot tub, champagne, and candy treats wonderful. Their restaurant recommendations are spot on and they love all four-legged friends. I remember a visit to the B&B one particularly cold February weekend when a pipe froze in the basement and Dave came up from the basement covered in grime and exhausted and he offered to clean himself up and cook us breakfast to order. I pride myself on very short quick to-the-point reviews on here but I could go on about how great this place is. This is my second time staying here. The two guys who own this together are great, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is wonderful, homemade and very fresh everyday. I love siting up on the deck for breakfast overlooking the bay. The rooms are cozy, each with a simple easy to use fireplace, a nice flat screen TV and coffee maker and they change the sheets and towels everyday. A selection of bikes for the guests and don't forget the welcome Champs in the mini fridge. We always seem so busy to get a dip in the hot tub, but perhaps next time. OH, and dog friendly. They have two very lovable friendly black labs. I could go on with all the extras, but you get the point. read more

this was my first bed and breakfast experience, and it could not have been better. i felt so at home with steve and dave. they just got two black lab puppies, which were so adorable and playful. my boyfriend and i came in may, before memorial day weekend, so the place was still relatively quiet. we got a private room plus private bathroom. they were smaller than a hotel room, but really, how much time do you really spend in a room anyway? because we came before the summer rush, breakfast didn't consist of the normal range of eggs, bacon, etc., but dave was more than happy to cook something up for us if we asked. bf and i were happy enough with the cold food selection as it was - fruit salad, cereal with different types of milk, hard boiled eggs, AMAZING blueberry muffins, bagels, toast, etc. the place was impeccably clean, and always quiet. loved that they had complimentary champagne, lots of bowls of candy lying around, hundreds and hundreds of DVDs, the beautiful view of the ocean, and free bikes and helmets to use. bf and i definitely took advantage of the bikes, but keep in mind that provincetown is hilly! read more

Mere hours after a brief stay at Aerie House No. 4, I'm trying to think of something negative about the place. I cannot. It was our first time in Provincetown. It was our first time on Cape Cod! The experience was so nice, we can't wait for another visit and hope we can stay here. The view is very nice, overlooking the harbor area. And there's a spacious deck with two Adirondacks, an umbrella and a sea breeze. Win! The small apartment is ideal for a couple, and very tastefully appointed. It's just right. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you want to make your own meals. Which is a challenge, because Aerie House is located in the heart of P-Town's best area. Temptation awaits in every direction: Do you go to the private beach out back? Or to one of the amazing art galleries or shops on the same street? Or do you think about it while taking your choice of top-flight restaurants literally minutes away by foot? I cannot imagine a better location. Throw in a free parking spot in an area starved for them, and you're getting even greater value. A crucial item for us was allowing our three dogs. This is a challenge we've faced over and over, but not at Aerie House. Dogs welcome! Guests below also had a nice pooch. Because our stay was brief, we missed out on some features other reviewers are raving about, like the breakfast, the hot tub, the bikes... for a longer stay, we'd probably have dipped into their DVD library! A washer and dryer downstairs would be a handy item for longer stays, as would the perfectly sized Weber grill. The bed is cozy and big. There's no a/c -- maybe that's the only knock -- but a steady sea breeze and two big fans to compensate. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the apartment was clean and fresh-looking. We immediately wished we could have stayed longer and can't wait to come back. I almost regret this review, because now we've just created more competition for this excellent accommodation. Steve and Dave are friendly and attentive hosts. Steve picked us up at the fast ferry terminal in his Cadillac so we could avoid walking in the rain (thank you very much). Dave makes a tasty breakfast. Steve gave us a tour of the house which highlighted the free DVD collection, free bikes and the outdoor breakfast location. We enjoyed riding the bikes daily, and the bikes are in very good condition. Our room was small, but we expected this. We really enjoyed the views of the harbor from our room and the breakfast balcony. The price was great for Ptown in summer, and the location is one block away from Commercial Street and very close to our favorite restaurant, The Mews. We will certainly return. read more

My husband and I have come here 2 years in a row, and we plan to go back again next year. This year the rooms with private baths were all booked, and I almost didn't make a reservation. But after reading other reviews about the shared bathrooms, we decided to give it a try, and we're glad we did. During our 3 nights there, even though the place was fully booked, we never had to wait to use a bathroom. Our room (#5) had a sink and great view of the harbor and, like the bathrooms, it was really clean. Dave is a great cook and baker, and we loved the variety and quality of the breakfasts. We also loved eating on the deck and talking with the other guests. The vibe here is very open and friendly. It's also a very dog-friendly place, so even though we didn't bring our dogs with us, we were able to get our daily dog fix from the other guests' dogs--who, unlike our own beasts, were relatively quiet and never woke us up by barking. Other touches we liked were the complimentary champagne, the bowls of candy in the hallways and living room, the bicycles available to borrow, the beautiful greenery, and the aforementioned deck, which has often has music playing and is a great place to read, drink wine, or just stare out at the ocean or the stars, depending on the time of day. read more

My husband and I stayed here for Spooky Bear. Steve and Dave couldn't have been nicer. It was like staying with good friends. I enjoyed the hot tub, which had an ocean view. My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights after seeing it suggested from Frommer's. We stayed in the coziest room (#6), which was only $95 a night. It was a tiny room, but worked fine for the 2 of us. The house is lovely. The common areas were really nice and had a fireplace, hot tub and beautiful outdoor deck. The breakfasts were great btw. Nothing continental about them! Eggs, bakery goods and a meat everyday and everything was great! The owners were incredibly nice and helpful and the housekeeping was even nice. Great location too. Very near the downtown. We stayed in apartment 3 at the beach club apartment's. Apartment was very clean and cozy. Had private balcony and back stairs down to beach. Perfect for watching the sunrise! Super comfy bed with down comforter. We brought our 11 month old Weimaraner for his first PT vacation and he LOVED it too! The apartment is just close enough to walk to town but far enough that it's quiet. We're so happy to have found this gem and plan to make this a yearly vacation retreat! We stayed at the Aerie House, top floor, "eagles nest". The views were great from inside our room and out on the small deck! The hosts were very nice and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated, the lighting was perfection in every room. It felt very private and was super quiet [there were probably 2 or 3 other couples at the time]. We never made it to the hot tub but it looked nice. The fireplace was great to come home to at night. The bed was super comfy. It was worth every penny waking up to that view. The place was clean and immaculate everywhere. The second bedroom was a bonus, it costs $25 each additional person and the room was so nice/cozy/tastefully decorated. But, keep in mind that there is only one bathroom on the floor to share....which btw is very nice and clean with a great shower/whirlpool bath. The grounds were nicely done for a tiny space with gardens, benches, small greenhouse, and small vineyard. There were two mini Champagne bottles in the fridge upon arrival. We found the champagne glasses in the bathroom cabinets-since the kitchen space was TINY. which brings me to a few annoyances: The room could use some freshening up here and there with fresh paint and minor repairs and it is an old house so there were some awkward spaces like sloped ceilings, no kitchen counter space etc. Also, getting breakfast in the morning and bringing it up steep stairs on a tray was a challenge. Of course, you have the option to eat right there on first floor, or on the second floor too. the deck felt small and cramped especially getting around the table/chairs...the table and chairs seem too big for the space and the lounge chairs felt wobbly. But....that view made up for a lot! Also, their website is not really up to speed...you have to call to reserve a room. No online options, which was annoying. But, we also had no problem making the reservation on the phone. Note: we had a chance to peek into the other rooms and they were lovely, plush, super clean and worth a try. Even the rooms with shared bathrooms would be worth it as the two bathrooms down the hall are very nice, clean, modern, private and empty most of the time. Those rooms have no private deck but anyone can use their sunset deck which has tables/chairs and a bar in season...with a great view. Next time, we want to try a room at their beach house, which is down the street on the beach. read more

We just returned from our eighth year staying at the Aerie House. We love mornings on the deck with Dave's well prepared breakfast choices and afternoons lounging in the sun. Both Dave and Steve make themselves fully available; whether it's the latest and greatest in baseball, restaurant recommendations, or just asking about where we've spent our day. We miss guarding our breakfasts from Mack and Dylan (sorry if we've spelled their names wrong), but got a kick out of Coal jumping the gate and watching Duff wanting to. Well-run inn by a couple of great guys that really know the business. Great atmosphere, super breakfast choices, comfortable rooms. We've stayed with them several times over several years. Nice location in that they are in a quieter spot, away from the "hub-bub" of Commercial Street, yet very walkable. Rental bikes are a nice amenity. Very fair value, too. My partner and I are staying here for the first time, after many trips to Ptown. We booked at the last minute via the chamber of commerce last minute listings for a very reasonable rate. The entire property is very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast on the deck is superb and snacks in the afternoon are a nice touch. What a fabulous place! I never write reviews - haven't posted one on Yelp in 2 years - but had to after staying here. We just came back from an extended Labor Day Weekend and are such fans of Aerie House and the owners Dave and Steve. Dave is a master chef who prepared the best breakfasts each morning. So creative and tasty, and he was happy to share the recipes. They had great recommendations for what to do and where to eat in the area. They were both very friendly to our dog, and it was like staying at a friend's home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It's also in a prime location, one block off the main strip so it's not too loud but you're also right in the middle of things. You're also 1-2 blocks from the inn's own private bay beach which was lovely. I only wish our room was bigger and that we had access to a microwave or something if we couldn't eat out (a rainy holiday made for a lot of closed restaurants!). I do know we booked the smallest room so that's really to be expected and not unusual, we were spoiled with everything else! They used the space wisely, with a fridge and freezer, coffee maker, DVD player and even a fireplace. We are definitely planning to return, and I am hoping to come back with a group of friends and use the beach house. Highly recommend! read more
