Amazing outdoor fitness program. A good mixture of hard work and fun. Show up regularly and try your best and you'll get results.

I like the fact that Burn is bodyweight exercise, i.e. calisthenics for the most part, with an occasional dumbell, rope or other non-machine device. It's a 45-minute workout with lots of variety and an encouraging coach. "Group exercise" is generally not my thing... I've always been a loner in the gym--weights, running, etc., but this IS a good program to mix things up a bit. All the days I went, there was only ever one guy in there working out with the girls. And the girls are very supportive. Nice, but probably a little TOO girly for my speed, but great for other women who need a strong support system when trying to get fit. The main downside is that it is SO expensive at, I think, $99/month... maybe even more than that? The only way I'd consider actually joining is if I got a great deal. I think they had a Black Friday deal that I missed out on.

I didn't really care for the male trainer. He tends to pick on certain women about their training clothing. I mean come on, the woman is there to get fit, not to be ridiculed. He's also not very pleasant outside of the class when I went to ask him about prices for a full membership. He made no eye contact with me and kinda brushed me off. Maybe he didn't like me? But the female trainer is fantastic and so sweet! I thanked her on the last day of the month trial that I subscribed to! For those interested, Groupon will have good deals on having a month of these classes. It was a great way to get back into the swing of things after having my second child. I've continued some of the things I've learned at the camp in my current gym routine. I wish prices were a bit lower, though. I can't exactly afford over $100/month. Thanks for getting me on track though!

I love coming here! I was considering other group exercise programs in the area, but I saw the…read morewebsite for FBBC and looked into it. I have also been a member at both major local gyms and I wasn't getting the motivation or results I needed. I am very happy I decided to give FBBC a try. The trainers and owner are all awesome, friendly, extremely knowledgable, empowering, and great role models. I feel like my body is being challenged with every workout, it never gets boring because everyday is different, I have the flexible schedule of classes a busy mom needs, I am motivated to come in everyday, I am not being judged by other gym members, I am getting in 30 minutes what I got at the regular gym in 1 hour, and I am feeling good about myself. I joined for the 21 day challenge, but I liked it so much that I decided to get a regular membership. The price is much less than other workout programs like this, the schedule is much better for times of classes than the local gyms, I can workout before my kids are awake in the am so I do not need to dress my kids for daycare and haul them with me, it only takes 30 minutes to burn between 350-450 calories (Monitored via FitBit), the trainers remember me and my name, everyone talks to each other and is friendly, there are no mirrors and you do not feel intimidated by the atmosphere or other members, and the atmosphere really is very welcoming and comfortable for women of all ages. A few men come here too, but the environment is different than other places and it feels non-judgmental, non-masculine, non-body builder/Bro-tein shake hangout, civilian friendly, and safe. If someone is grunting next to you during their workout, it is because they are getting their butt kicked in the workout not because they are getting their swell on in the mirror while admiring themself. I have a healing workplace injury, the trainers here work with me each class to modify and meet my needs. I feel that next to physical therapy, this is the best thing I have done for my body since being injured a year ago. The women in my classes range from young adult to older woman, so everyone can enjoy FBBC. They measure me, my weight, take my pictures, my BMI, and total body fat at regular intervals plus they give me access to Fit Client to track my progress. You sign up for classes and do everything on your computer, so no need to go in to change a payment method. The owner is setting up with the owner of another FBBC in Florida, for me to go to that gym while traveling. This is a really great option in SOMD that I highly recommend!

I used to hate exercising and the regular gyms were not motivating me nor pushing me to do more than I thought I was capable of. I ended up paying for months and never going. Sounds familiar? In one last ditch effort to get healthy and fit, I stepped into this place ( 3-day free trial). Its only a 30 min class of High Intensity Interval Training and I was hooked from the first day. What an incredible anti-depressant! Amazing coaches won't let you down, constantly vigilant that your form is correct so that you don't injure yourself. They walk around encouraging you to do one more or realize that the dumbell you are using is too light and at the same time understanding the modifications you need if you have any joint issues. I have bad knees. No twisting here. And they are always aware of what I need. A personal trainer in a group setting. I could never afford a daily coach at a regular gym but here I can have me trainer for around $6/day. Can't beat that!! Come in and try it. You have nothing to lose but fat! UPDATE: 8 months later- I am still here! Major record. So far let me give you one of the many results I have gotten from coming here. Over the weekend I hiked 6 miles and climbed 3 1/2. I mean really climb up and over rocks and boulders. Slide down some and leap from one to another. It was a steep incline all the way up to Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah National Park over 3000ft at the summit. I could have never done this had it not been for Fit Body Boot Camp and the coaches who helped me along. 9 months ago I could barely walk 1/2 mile without my back and feet hurting. And then I'd quit and plop on my couch. This place is the best decision I ever made for my health and ongoing fitness!

I'm not done with my trial yet, but even after one week, I've already seen a lot of progress in my body. On day one, I was a little lost. Came in a little intimidated BUT Tara was so welcoming and helpful. Obviously you have to ease slowly into working out again if your body isn't used to it, but every coach gives you different moderations of the circuit workouts so that you don't hurt yourself. They listen to your needs and prior injuries and health concerns to make sure you're not straining yourself, but still working hard to get that workout done! What's most important to them is that you're moving. You don't have to go too hard if you can't, they're just proud that you even took the step of showing up! There's a different kind of workout each day of the week that concentrates on different sections of the body or the workout technique of the day from cardio to leg day to arm day to athletic training, etc. It is a little pricey for a membership, but if you can squeeze it into your budget, I definitely think it's worth it. You can tell in your every day movements that burn has been helping. I'm breathing better during any other physical activities (like going up the stairs lol you can't tell me that you don't try to hide your breath going up some stairs sometimes. I'm usually winded, but the other day, I CHOSE to go up the stairs instead of the elevator. Who am I??), I'm getting up without grunting, I'm choosing better for my bodily health. It's so nice! And honestly what I needed for this summer. Hope you guys get the chance to check it out!

I originally tried Burn Boot Camp a month after it arrived in the area, October 2019, so I've been obsessed with returning ever since. I love that its full body - you're able to get in your cardio and weight training all in one - as I've always been the one in the gym weight training or taking a conditioning class at the gym which is now made so much easier.
