I think the worst part is, they were pretty much calling me a liar, saying the damage around the buttons was already there. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't take responsibility for the damage- going as far as saying "it was already like that". I did, and I regret it. I brought in seat pillow covers from my (expensive, Italian) couch. I'd had them dry cleaned twice before at other places with no problem, but when I got them back from Sausalito Bright they were damaged: covered with a faint web pattern. I pointed this out to the owner, who agreed that the problem was his "extractor" machine. The covers, he explained, were crumpled during the dirt extraction process, and the creases turned a bright white, making a webby pattern against the cream colored fabric. So far so good. The owner did not agree this was damage, however -- that word he reserved for something that was ripped or torn. In fact, the acid wash effect qualified as a cleaning, he said, because the the whiter parts were not a stain, but a rather extra clean sections! When I asked for my money back, he said that he didn't want to give it to me because customers like me were what drove hard working dry cleaners like him out of business! I just wish they had gone out of business before I made the mistake of going there....

Dress alterations: Made an appointment online a week in…read moreadvance. Walked in and within 30 seconds Josh had introduced himself and told me to go ahead and try on my wedding dress. Within a minute, he was already taking notes of improvements and alternations to be made, even many I didn't consider. In and out within 20 minutes with a plan to pick up in a month. Only $330 for bodice adjustments, hemming, adding slip adjustments, and a wrist strap. When I picked it up about 4 weeks later, it was absolutely perfect. My wedding isn't until October but I can update afterwards to show the alterations. Great price and great quality

When I picked the jacket up the jacket it was zipped up and enclosed in plastic and somehow the zipper tab was broken. They kindly offered to fix it and I thought that was fantastic customer support. That was a quick resolution to the problem. I believe the tab somehow broke off during the cleaning process. They did not, they cut my jeans and completely changed the style of the bottom so I said I did not want to pay for what was messed up and all the sudden the man couldn't speak very good English? And offered me $4 off the price. I didn't know what to do so I just paid him and left and absolutely wish I stood up for myself more. The service costed more than the pants. Will never be returning an absolute scam.
