Dr. Ravaei was amazing. From my initial consultation to my surgery today everything was great. He's definitely one that gets down to business and doesn't waste your time in the office. His bedside manner is very personable. He's very knowledgeable and pretty funny. I knew from my initial meeting that it would go extremely well. And it did. Because I'm new in town, I don't have any family or a ton of friends; he even had one of his staff members ride home with me because I had anesthesia during my foot procedure. So we're all family now - haha. RN Cynthia and Dr Roy were there during pre-op, administering my anesthesia and my recovery. Super smart and really helped put my mind at ease. Be careful with this location. While their website states that they accept many insurances, they mean that they'll bill as out-of-network. In this case there isn't even a part in accepting insurance, as most of the time the patient will need to pay the bill and then submit the bill to insurance for reimbursement. Charges a $75.00 "consultation fee". Cannot judge the care because this is outrageous at the onset. Also, there was no offer to apply it toward care. (My toe is broken). Possibly a great doctor/surgeon, but I can and will go elsewhere. UPDATE: Physician contacted me to let me know that the fee IS applicable toward service but the employee was likely new and not aware of that. Regardless, they do have an ad running on the front page of their website stating "call now for a free consultation" which he said they would have honored if I had mentioned it. I didn't realize you have to mention this, but c'est la vie. Albeit unintended, a bit like a bait and switch and when you're ailing like me it can perturb you. Anyhow, I don't want to have his business be affected just for miscommunication from his staff especially as he has personally reached out to me and is obviously a caring (or else he would not have bothered to contact me) and skillful doctor (as other reviews reflect). Had foot surgery with Dr. Ravaei approximately a year ago and the surgery was fabulous. The recovery was as promised. The service that Dr. Ravaei provided was amazing!! The staff were also very professional and courteous. My wife also had surgery about six months ago. The surgery went very well as promised. We went to Dr. Ravaei back in June. My daughter is a dancer and she had developed terrible painful bunions. She could no longer walk without being in pain. We scheduled her consultation on a Sunday and we were seen right away. Dr. Ravaei was very thorough and has great bedside manner. We decided at that time we were going to have the surgery on both feet at the same time. He scheduled the surgery for the following week. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. From the receptionist, nurses, anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Ravaei. He took his time and didn't rush through the surgery. He is definitely one of the best! The recovery was so much faster then traditional bunion surgery. She was able to walk with her boot within a few days after the surgery. She was able to return to dance at about a month and half. When I first arrived I was treated so wonderfully, was seen in a timely manner. The office was reminiscent if an art gallery so I appreciated the attention to detail.The consultation went well, too. But as soon as we learned my insurance didn't cover the procedure, the front desk staff changed and were rude. When I asked for out of pocket expenses it was nearly impossible to get. And I didn't get the break down of the cost like I had specifically asked for. His reviews and photos looked great, and he was nice but ...I'm uncertain with the quality of care I'll receive. Dr Ravai was the third doctor I had gone to. The first two doctors had prescribed me multiple medications and had seen me for multiple treatments but my problem kept coming back after a short while. I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Ravaei! I saw him for a consultation regarding numbing and tingling in my left foot that I had for years after a bout with Athlete's foot. Although I had previously seen other doctors regarding this matter, Dr. Ravaei was the first to suggest that it may be nerve related rather then some version of Athlete's foot. He suggested the option to see a nerve specialist at his office and although that was going to be the next step (no pun intended), I decided to visit my chiropractor first. I saw Dr Ravaei for an ingrown toenail; although it seems like a minor deal, I was unable to practice Bikrum Yoga or hit the gym; by the time I saw Dr Ravaei the pain prevented me from doing either. When I realized it wasn't going to remedy itself, I began reading through a number of reviews. Based on Dr Ravaei's reviews, I decided to call his office and ultimately drove over an hour, not only as a result of the glowing reviews, but additionally because of his outstanding staff. It was likely obvious I was frustrated from my inquiry, however I was immediately put at ease and felt comfortable from the convo. Dr Ravaei's staff was able to get me in the next afternoon. After meeting Dr Ravaei, he was as advertised! He walked me through a couple options in regards to procedures and professionally spelled everything out. The thought of the procedure was way worse than the actual procedure; thanks to Dr Ravaei...I didn't even feel the shots of novacaine! I went to see Dr. Ravaei last minute because of some pain I was having with my foot. He was able to accommodate me and help me with my issue. He took X-rays and said it might be a possible fracture and wrapped my foot for me to wait a week and see how I feel. After he wrapped it I have been feeling much better.
