I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place, but i'm going to try! First time I came was on a groupon, and just happened to discover two of my friends came here as well. I have become a regular ever since! Sean and Ara are masters of hair. They take time with each and every customer, making it a personal treatment, as opposed to a simple haircut. I've had ombre, cuts, styles, and highlights and each have been grade A. I typically come for highlights. Sean helped me transition from a natural brunette to a bright blonde, keeping my hair healthy all the way. For those who can't tell my hair is not naturally blonde (yes, such skill that people believe i'm naturally blonde!!), i still receive regular compliments on my hair. Ara is incredibly talented as well. His blow outs will blow you away! Truly amazing. Please take note the parking is metered, or use the side streets for free parking. Went back to Seanara for the first time in 2 years, and again, was not disappointed!!! I got a Brazilian blowout with Sean, and I am 100% satisfied with my results! I kept the solution in my hair for about 3 1/2 days, and when I washed it out finally, the texture was exactly what I wanted. It kept my natural wave but took out the puffy frizziness. Thanks Sean! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Where to start... -I got seated and there is hair everywhere! You're on Robertson, come on, keep a clean shop! -While I'm getting my hair done I hear the two stylists speak in a different language with each other about another client! I guess they didn't think I was Persian and were talking about how the client was not going to tip so he should just hurry with the job. REALLY???? I do not like the feeling of sitting there thinking oh gee what will they say about me? The client is paying you for your services, regardless of what you ASSUME they will tip you, you should give everyone your best! But I guess these guys don't think that way. -While getting my hair washed I like to relax..well forget it! The guy just kept going on about what I should buy for my hair to keep its color and on and on! Please stop trying to sell me things! -My cut was rushed and when I got home I realized I had a random long strand. Ok, not a problem I can snip it away...but then I see my color is uneven! Thank goodness it's in the back but still a huge pain when you pay someone to do your hair. -Like the previous reviewer, my time there also included the stylist chain smoking every 10 min. Completely unprofessional and not to mention smelly! Are you going to touch my hair with your nicotine stanched hands? Ugh! -$$$$$ I went to pay and whoa! They sure know how to overcharge for horrible service and nothing more than ordinary job! I will NOT be going back! Don't take your chances with this salon. I am leaving this only about Ara not about the salon. This man is unbelievable, probably the most inconsiderate person I have met. I had an appointment I scheduled in advance for a special event, someone recommended him to me, I walk in and he says he has no time for me! WHAT????? Are you kidding me? No apology, no excuse just that he was overbooked, I screamed and walked out. I found Maro Gharibi on a Groupon deal for a Brazilian blowout and I thought it was for a great price. It was easy to book an appointment and the blowout process took about 3 hours. She informed me that I should wash my hair with sulfate-free shampoo after 24 hours. However, after I washed it, my hair became wavy again. Once it completely dried, it was evident that the treatment had not worked. I know many people who had gotten this treatment before and their hair remained straight for at least 2 months. She said that my hair should have stayed "at least 70% straight." After 3 washes, my hair was back to its curly and frizzy original. I called to talk to Maro and she said that the treatment was actually to calm frizzy hair but within days, my hair was back to its crazy self. Even in the description on the Groupon website, it states that a Brazilian blowout helps produce sleek strands of hair. I am very disappointed with her service and that she did not admit to the fact that she had not done a good job. read more

Purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian blowout for myself and a friend. They are extremely rude over the phone when calling to book, beware! They will probably tell you that you don't know what you're talking about and they don't offer the service you paid for! I would never feel comfortable having someone spend 2 hours on my hair after treating me the way I was treated when trying to make an appointment for their services. Note to establishment: it's poor customer service to tell a customer that they don't know what they are talking about when they have physical proof of your offered services online. Ps they made me text them proof of the online offer and were still rude after seeing their mix up! They also left me a message telling me I was a stupid person and to go fuck myself. Not sure who speaks to people that way but I would watch your back when giving your money to this salon. I reported them to the better business Bureau! read more

There is a reason he's THE stylist for a long list of A list talent: He's the best hair artist in Los Angeles. The Beverly Hills location does not face the street, it's got a certain style you should check out and it is quiet. I would not normally write a public comment about something so personal, but Sean has been able to do what no one else could after the injury. The bad reviews are from people that are jealous of him. Ignore the envious haters. If you're a man, you'd be a fool to allow anyone other than Sean cut and style your hair. And yes, it's time for you to update your style. It's time to change. Oh, and you should go now while the rates are affordable for you. He doesn't have to charge such low rates, but he cares about improving lives... famous or not. When he is at the top of the luxury highrise, his rates for the public have to multiply. Make your appointment now because you are better than hanging on to an old style that no longer works for you. As a new Angeleno looking for a salon that does fabulous, natural-looking blonde highlights, I am so grateful to have found Sean from Seanara Mode! He does a fantastic job on my color and cuts every time I come in, and a lovely job with blow-outs, too (I came to him before my engagement photos). I'm pretty picky about making sure that my blonde looks natural, not dull or too platinum, and Sean nails the color every time. The salon is reasonably priced and always fits me in on weekends, even at the last minute. I would definitely recommend it! read more
