I'm planning to schedule my haircut ‍ here very soon and there's even jewelry to look at in the front (I was just out of time). There's a reason why I'm loyal to this salon ‍ for many many years. Their work is fabulous and natural so that I can look polished for many many years and I remain loyal. Parking is always packed despite my early appointment but I guess it's just because this is the place to spend hours easily. This is a review about Meg and her policies. I woke up this morning not feeling my best and thought -- hey, before I head out to get my hair colored, I should take a Covid test just to be safe. My appointment was at 11:15, I took the test at 10:00am. Cut to 20 minutes later, and I'm positive. I call my doctor who advises me to not leave the house for 5 days, she calls in a prescription for Paxlovid. My second call (well, text) is to Meg, to let her know I tested positive and ask to reschedule. Her response was so rude -- no, "oh no, I am sorry" or "i hope you feel better" or "thank you for letting me know". Her response was, "Our cancellation policy is XX, please send me your credit card number." Flabbergasted, I reiterate that I have just tested positive for Covid. Does she want me to come into the salon with Covid? No care for other people in the salon to have someone with Covid in the salon. If we couldn't have found a time to reschedule, I would have happily paid her the $200. She didn't even offer to reschedule or acknowledge my illness. Meg has no class. read more

Joe was great and professional with me, washed my hair very well in the beginning, it was almost a head massage. Asked me exactly what I wanted and I told him I wanted to fix my layers from the previous hair stylist. My previous hair stylist, they had cut two lengths of hair attempting to do layers but only left me with a short layer and the longest, leaving it my last layer, it looked horrible as it grew out! Also, this is a fantastic place to get your haircut if you have ASIAN HAIR! He then tells you what he thinks will go well with your face shape. I've really been looking for a stylist who will look at my hair and know immediately what to do with it! I wanted an airy look and bangs, and Yuki did all of that and more. - Price: Definitely not cheap, but given the area and the service you get, it's 100% justifiable. I remember I was talking to a friend about the price of haircuts, and he said it's worth it to pay for haircuts because you wear your hair every single day. Just some food for thought​! - Service: Amazing! Had the greatest hair washing and blowdrying service ever. Michiko Muto is the best hairstylist - she is my colorist and cuts my hair. Her blowouts are phenomenal and usually last 2 -3 days. She is attentive, and keeps me informed during the entire time I am at the salon. I have been a 20 year client of Michiko and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my color. She is friendly, warm and "fun to be around with" person and I consider her a true friend. She also cuts my 2 children's hair and they always love to see her at the salon. We always leave the salon feeling pampered and beautiful. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxing and everyone seems to get along. Everyone is friendly and attentive. They offer a drink when you are seated in the chair. When your hair is washed they have the amazing massage chairs that make my hair washing experience so much nicer - plus a great scalp massage! Brisia did a fantastic job on my color! A complete color transformation! I came into the salon with prelightened hair, but still had some leftover color in it. Brisia first took all of the color out of my hair, and shampooed and prepped me for new color! She used three colors to give my hair really great dimension, layering dark blue, violet and pink throughout my hair. The end result was fantastic! It appears very dark at night, but upon a closer inspection you can see the pink and violet highlights. Brisia did a beautiful job and I would definitely recommend her! She gave me lots of advice about how to take care of my hair, and even allowed me to take some leftover product home. Overall, the salon is very clean and brightly lit. All of the staff are very helpful and kind. I felt completely at home at the salon, Brisia offered me a beverage and there were plenty of magazines to read while I waited for my hair to process. She was gentle, informative, and warm as she corrected the terrible pink mess I had going while in search of the right person. Plus, time seriously flew by while we chatted and she worked her magic! I got my hair colored green and violet by Brisia in December, and now even a month later the colors are still very vibrant. After washing my hair a few times there are also some hints of blue. I'm totally in love with my hair and I get compliments on it all the time! Since I have a lot of hair and had to bleach it first, the whole thing took a while (about 9 hours), but Brisia is great at making you feel comfortable the whole time. There was a good balance between casual chit chat and relaxing silence. She also had an extra outlet so I could charge my phone/laptop and do some work :) Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience! Honestly such a wonderful experience from start to finish! I got balayage highlights and a cut have never been so happy with the end results of both!! I don't have enough positive things to say about my experience today. The salon itself is bright and open and the staff are so welcoming. Right when you walk in, the receptionist are very nice. Joe did my color and did an amazing job. He was so meticulous, yet efficient. All previous times I have gotten my hair colored, it has taken over 3.5 hours, but somehow he finished in less than 3 hours. Yuki did my cut and he was SO precise with every snip. He gave me the exact length I wanted, with the right amount of texture. Not to mention he was so personable and sweet! Overall, I LOVED that the staff actually LISTENED to all of my hair requests and were so accommodating. Any time I wanted something fixed, they did not hesitate to fix anything. There was a promotion going on so I got a discount on my hair service. I booked an appointment with joe to get my hair colored. My hair was like three different colors and it looked like a mess! Joe was very nice and he chose a color with me based off of a picture I showed him. He explained how he was gonna mix the colors to even out my hair color and got started on my hair. He talks a lot and he doesn't like to stop for your comments haha which was okay since Im not a huge fan of small talks. So he basically told me his life story for an hour straight... anyways so the hair took about 2 hours to do and he was so detailed with it! I loved how the hair color came out, he's so skilled with his hair blowing techniques as well. Only thing I wasn't satisfied with when I came home was that I realized the top of my hair is lighter than the bottom by about 2 shades... I hope that it will wash off and even out a bit after. There is a BH lot up the street, but usually I end up looking for street parking. Depending on the time of the day, this can be OK, but some days are just horrible TIPS: 1. some stylists have trouble with Asian hair- not an issue here. That being said, I have seen clients of all shapes, sizes, colors, races, and creeds... everyone is served well! 2.
