Dynavin is the only unit that offers a fiber optic connection. Dynavin also allows you to keep the MB amp and your current speaker system, along with being able to use the steering wheel controls for volume and channel selection. In any event, they were incredible to deal with! Install was first rate! Now I have wireless CarPlay, a backup camera, and USB-C plugs in my center console and glove box! I highly recommend this shop! Do yourself a favor and go here if you need to update your old tech! You will not be disappointed!

I like to think I'd be able to trust whoever's helping me at a car place. The audio in my car went out randomly. The guy with the beard told me basically that my radio died and I need a new one. He gave me a $600 estimate for a new one. I called my husband to get another opinion. I ended up walking out with nothing. I googled everything trying to figure out how I can possibly fix the sound in my car. It wasn't until Reddit showed me step by step on how to hard reset my radio. Literally two seconds after hitting the microscopic reset button, my audio worked. Ladies and men, PLEASE go in with someone who knows something about cars because I almost lost $600 for nothing.

What also stood out is that they're using a legitimate professional system, not off-the-shelf products, and applying it properly. If you're looking for a detail-oriented shop that does things the right way, this is the place you are looking for. I don't have a good picture so I had a little bit of fun with an image generator..

I brought my new Lexus GX 550 in for the Ultimate Armour package (just under $5k)…read more Scheduling and drop-off were both straightforward and easy, so no complaints there. Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.

At 53 I wanted another system & stalked a highschool buddy who had the baddest system in hi school in a Honda CRX. Asked a bunch of questions as I didnt trust any of the east county shops from doing my own DD.... Don got me in contact with Skip as I would have never even considered this place, even though thinking back ive came here in the late 90s. Skip isnt the cheapest but very fair / competitive, you get what you pay for. Ive learned that as did a system for my son recently at another shop & after digging some, some some wiring issues that shouldnt have happened, running a 4 gauge wire for a 1800 watt amp that clearly calls for a 1/0 gauge power cables, amp has a 1/0 gauge terminal & so on... Skip & his team did an amazing job on my tacoma & the re-do on my son's ford ranger. He was patient with my OCD asking questions, processes, questioning things, etc... Skip & his team do great work & wouldnt consider going to El Cajon or santee from what ive experienced again... Have another system in the works....

I have been bringing my vehicles here for 20 years, and they consistently deliver high-quality modifications with a focus on both cabin comfort and safety. It's rare to find a shop that balances technical skill with such a high level of professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone who wants the job done right!
