Out of every place we've tried, this was by far the BEST! We honestly want to come back to Georgia just to eat here again. It was absolutely worth the wait and worth the trip. This weekend I'm in Atlanta, and when I tell you I was SUPER hungry the moment I touched down... I mean it! As I was walking toward the Georgia Aquarium, I spotted this little gem right across the street called Atlanta Breakfast Club and decided to see what all the hype was about. Let me tell you--I made one of the best decisions of the trip! The restaurant itself is small, but it's bustling and the eager servers offer an exceptional experience. Watching plate after plate come out only made ordering harder. Giant chicken biscuits smothered in gravy, fluffy pancakes, peach-drizzled waffles, and French toast had me completely indecisive. Finally made it back to ABC after several years. Food is still delicious and service was great (S/o to Seven(??). I came solo so seating took only a few minutes. Environment is generally busy and loud but typical for ATL restaurant, especially in the center of an entertainment/ tourist district. After being indecisive, I landed on the Salmon croquettes meal. I have been disappointed by croquettes in the past from other spots but these were truly delicious. Grits were perfect. Sweet tea was southern sweet. David had his eyes set on the Biscuits & Shrimp Gravy, but I wasn't super hungry so I ended up ordering a few things à la carte: scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and gravy, and a salmon croquette. The salmon croquette was probably my least favorite - it was a bit dry inside, although the tartar sauce on the side helped a little. The chicken sausage and gravy was exactly what I needed, perfect to go with my eggs. I tried some of David's biscuits and they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! They do not mess around with their biscuits. Despite this, the staff were able to quickly seat us and take our orders. I had the Crispy Fried Chicken & Waffles, which is one of their signature dishes. There is a paid parking garage across the street and a like 4 parking spots in front of the place but plenty of free surface street parking. I had a wonderful brunch at Atlanta Breakfast Club. We arrived at around 10 AM, and while it was pretty busy for a Thursday morning, we were seated right away. All beverages, with the exception of coffee and tea, are served bottled, so you'll have to pay a small fee even if all you want to drink is water. I found it a bit inconvenient, but it did not prevent me from thoroughly enjoying my meal there. FOOD: Blackened Salmon Special (5/5) - This was one of the house specials that Nya informed us about. We had requested the cook to be medium, and it came out perfect. My brother described it as the best-cooked salmon he had ever had; it was perfectly flaky and seasoned. The bed of potatoes and spinach that the salmon sat on was so flavorful and paired well with the salmon. Peach Cobbler French Toast (4/5) - I preferred the salmon, but I think that's simply because I am not big on eating sweet foods in the morning. However, it was too tempting to resist. The peaches weren't sickeningly sweet, the toast was fluffy, and the vanilla butter was very pleasant. I think it would be elevated with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (but that's a little too much for the first meal of the day). SERVICE: The service was absolutely exceptional! Nya was our waitress, and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. She even got me a chair for my tiny purse! So here I am in Atlanta for a conference, no idea where to go for a lunch as I am rushing to get booth setup started and I stumble past this place with actual parking in downtown - which in itself felt like divine intervention. The biscuits and potatoes were good and the bacon was cooked well. I was looking forward to the shrimp and gravy as a side dish to pour over my biscuits, but it was VERY watery. Came here on a Sunday for 2 people the wait was about 15ish minutes. They had music playing in the front and the guy was super attentive to the customers waiting to get in. You can feel her energy the second you walk in. She sets the tone, and it shows. Now... honest review time. The manager on duty (same person both days) was the exact opposite of the vibe the rest of the team brings. Upon entering a nice lady with blonde braids greeted me and told me I was next to be seated. 2 minutes later she sat me and my guest down and our server Cywoo, came over to serve us immediately. He was friendly, professional, cool. He took care of us, checked on us, he was top notch. I ordered the salmon croquettes w/egg whites and grits. All was delish.
