We scheduled appliance repair for next day and were given an 8am-5pm window of arrival. Someone called mid-day to sell me a warranty, but other than that there was no customer service contact. After waiting around all day, had a 3pm time on the online message eventually and the lady said we were assigned to a tech. Then it moved to 4pm. At 5pm, it moved back to 8am-5pm. By 5:30pm I was able to get around the chat bots in customer service to talk to an overseas customer service that informed me our tech wouldn't be coming and they wanted to reschedule. Don't waste your time with this company, they don't communicate, you can't get ahold of real people, and the service is non-existent. read more

Our technician did not actually touch our oven. He also refused to show us how to access our control panel. He would only describe in words how to do it. Then he told us that the entire thing needed replacing and handed us a 1k estimate. Now we've had to call the manufacturer who's saying they need a second opinion where someone actually looks at the control panel to determine if the entire thing needs to be replaced. This is the same technician who previously came out to look at a dryer timer that was broken and told us there was nothing to be done and we should set timers on our phone. A second opinion on that led to the entire machine being replaced by our insurance. Suffice to say, I won't be calling again. Oh and when we tried to call a supervisor to discuss, the phone line is entirely AI and the only real person I got to talk to was someone selling me a warranty who called 2-3 hrs before the technician arrived. read more

It is very disappointing. I need my furnace fixed because the weather is getting cold. He claimed he refunded the $100 I pre-paid. The refund was not made. I just want my furnace fixed. They had no idea what I was talking about. I was provided an email address for billing and not a phone number. This journey began on June 17, 2025, when the technician completed his evaluation of the problem that needed to be fixed to make our refrigerator work properly and he ordered a replacement part That part was delivered my address on June 24th. Since that time I have been attempting to establish an appointment to install the part. I have been unsuccessful in having completed appointment on several days during this time period I have several emails and a telephone call with non-computer people to try and resolve this issue. My last text to the System was on Friday July 5th. The System had scheduled an appointment For Technician to be at our address for an evaluation of refrigerator. Joe is the Technician who ordered the required part in June. Since he was familiar our unit he had our unit operational in less the 15 minutes. On June 17, 2025 we were charged $499.99 for a repair evaluation and replacement part. Even though I had told the AI Scheduler that we would not be available on July 7th until after 1:00 pm they ignored my text messages. Fortunately, they scheduled Joe who were before 8:00 am. He knew the situation was able effect a repair. I had an operation scheduled at 9:00 am at the Hospital. Situation was poorly handled for almost a month where we did not a refrigerator. I expect to be compensated for the inconvenience lost valued of our food during this period and not be invoiced for a new service call. The way the service tech left the job was very unprofessional they vacuumed the dryer to remove excess lint but proceeded to blow it all over the laundry room and then left it that way. He wouldn't give me any info on the denial and what he told me was different than what the warranty company had in their claim. In January, our family's fridge decided it was done keeping things cold. We called Sears, and a nice enough guy showed up to deliver some bad news: fixing it would cost over a grand. But wait! He had a "genius" idea--the SEARS WARRANTY PROGRAM! If they couldn't fix the fridge, they'd replace it. Sounds great, right? Sure, there was a catch: we had to sign up, wait 30 days, and pay a monthly fee. Thirty days later, we called back, and they said, "We can fit you in...next month." Fine, what's one more month of juggling three mini coolers and embracing life with a room-temperature fridge? The guy finally shows up--again. We assumed he'd come armed with a plan. Nope, just another round of diagnostics. But, he orders parts for the fridge, and we wait. And wait. For two months. Turns out, the part we were "waiting" on was literally sitting in the back of his truck the whole time. Apparently, it was a very common, less-than-$10 part. By May, we were six months deep in this fridge-less nightmare. He installs the parts, gives us a thumbs up, and... the fridge is still dead. So, naturally, we expect the new fridge they promised, right? WRONG! Apparently, we missed their 90-day "new fridge" window--because they'd been bouncing around appointments like some kind of appliance sitcom. Now, every call to Sears takes about four hours, and that's if you're lucky enough to get through to someone who speaks English and can actually help (two rarities that almost never overlap). So, we're left out a fridge, down on patience, and totally convinced this "warranty" was nothing but a slow, chilling scam.Sears Warranty: if you enjoy being ghosted, gaslit, and generally gouged, I highly recommend it! 1 year ago my washer wouldn't go past the rinse cycle so sears repair came out they fixed it and said the wire went bad. Easy fix. Then 2 months ago the exact same thing happened. Sears came out and it was the exact same wire again, the exact same technician from last year replaced it again. Then two days ago I experienced the same issue. I called and spoke to an associate who told me that they would have a technician come out and if it was the exact same issue they would fix it for free which I was fine with since there is no reason a wire should be messed up after only two months and if it is then it had to be a faulty wire. I called back later and they apologized for the miscommunication and told me they would only cover it if it broke within 30 days of the previous repair. After speaking to a manager and they reiterated the same thing I said to cancel my appt because I don't have money to have them fix the same exact issue they keep fixing and spending almost 200 each time for them to replace a wire every 2 months when wires are made to last years not a month or two. Very unhappy with this, feels as if they purposefully gave me a faulty wire each time so I would keep having to pay every couple of months to get it repaired. read more

Called Sears Service and they "fixed" it for $500.00, but gave me 250.00 off IF I purchased home warranty for 1 year for 60.00 monthly. I agreed. 3 weeks later- dryer quit (same issue). Sears wants to charge me "50% parts and labor". Set a day to come-no call/no show. HORRIBLE service!!! My technician was good, he fixed the problem - which turned out to be a simple fuel filter change. It took him a total of 5 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem. He charged me $186 for this. Laughed while he did it too...said "yea we're the most expensive ha ha ha I just go by what it says to charge" I miss the old Sears...a normal guy would have charged me the $95 service fee, plus the cost of the fuel filter and been happy to have helped. I will never call them again. To add insult to injury, he told me I needed bearings in my blade spindles, which would be over $200 plus the $95 fee - so $350 maybe. I said yea but I don't have to pay the $95 again because you diagnosed it already on this trip. He said no..hahaha...jyou didn't call me for that, so you would have to pay the $95 again if I were to come back and fix it...ha ha ha...my take? my the world has changed.... read more
