Gabe showed up 3 hours after the promised time and the washing machine had a knob missing ("We'll order you one right away and bring it over as soon as it arrives." Complete lie: over a month later and our washing machine still has pliers as a knob). The dryer was also missing a knob...Gabe took the one of our old dryer and stuck it on. Long story short...the dryer doesn't work. We've called Bryan and Gabe literally about one hundred times. There is no "warranty" because they ignore your phone calls. Gabe has sent me sexually harassing texts: (. )( .) and today Bryan attempted to send my boyfriend a computer virus. We have a complaint already filed with the Department of Justice and will be filing with our local police department next week. We will heed Kellie C's advice and also follow up with the Sonoma County DA, the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office, the State of California Consumer Protection Agency, and Lake County DA. That was a week ago, supposedly mailed within the same county. It should have come the next day--or perhaps the day after that. It has not come in a week, and I am relatively certain, will never come. Just like it didn't come the last four times he promised to drop it by, and later, promised to mail it, and then swore he did mail it! Just like he didn't come get the broken washer he sold me, which was on his schedule to pick up twice--and it still sits in my front yard almost a month later! I now have to pay someone to haul it off. Just like his original delivery guys didn't show up for four days from the time they were supposed to--costing me three + 1/2 days of work while I sat and waited for them. Just like his delivery man, Gabrielle, gave me his "personal word of honor" that he would bring me my cash back the next day because his "reputation" was at stake. I can document so many lies these two have told, it would make an excellent case study, and raises the question: is Bryan Perry a Pathological, Compulsive Liar, or a Sociopath: You decide. What is the Difference Between a Sociopath, and a Compulsive, Pathological, Habitual Liar? A sociopath is typically defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. A sociopath is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused - it is done to get one's way). Sociopaths have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. Sociopaths are often charming and charismatic, but they use their talented social skills in manipulative and self-centered ways (see, lovefraud, for more on sociopaths). A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning (unlike sociopaths), rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response which is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship (see, how to cope with a compulsive liar). Hummm...sounds like the sociopath to me. Whatever the case, these guys are crooks, running a profitable scam that works becasue their sales are small--not worth trying to collect on. So for you to say "junk you had to haul" just confirms to me your nefarious intentions.
