The customer service is amazing the second you walk through the doors you are greeted and felt welcome. Only down fall is that most of the employees ( mainly the guys ) assume I don't know what I want or what I'm talking about. But I've started to get use to it. The store is clean and finding what I need is easy. The lumber yard is kinda messy but it's whatever. I also have taken equipment in now that they got a new mechanic ( I wouldn't waste my time or money with the last guy that was there I think his name was John) the new guy is amazing and helped fix my mower that the other shop in town thought they "fixed". I think his name is Bryan he is great and when I called for an update the gal in the shop knew who I was and was able to help me immediately with an update that they were waiting on parts. They said it was a 2 week wait and I got mine back in 10 days and fixed correctly have not had a single problem with it. I will definitely be bring my other equipment here.

The Davis and Woodland Ace Hardware did not have any, nor did the Woodland Home Depot. Who knew that the Dixon Ace Hardware would carry them and have them in stock. They set one aside for us and we immediately made the trip to Dixon. The capacitor was waiting for us and the sales person mentioned that they are the only ones in the area that carry items like that. We wandered about the store a bit, it's larger than the Davis Ace. My husband was also looking for a specific drip irrigation plug but they didn't have it in stock. Two sales members helped us look for the item and then they explained that the store will be doing a major re-do in October so they are starting to reduce inventory and the plug seemed to be one of the current reductions. Even so, the store was orderly and well stocked with other items. Our $40 purchase in hand, my husband installed it once we got home, saving probably hundreds of dollars if we had called a HVAC company to diagnose the problem and replace the capacitor. BTW, it worked and we have cool air again.

In both instances, there were multiple employees working at the front desk area on their computers. While they may have been busy, no one acknowledged or greeted us when we walked in. Even a simple "Hi, we'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. My wife spent about 10 minutes browsing the showroom during one visit and we still were not approached. We ultimately left both times without speaking to anyone. We understand that some showrooms operate by appointment, and if that is the standard protocol, that is perfectly fine. However, a quick greeting, asking whether we had an appointment, or offering to schedule one would have created a very different experience. We did not have this issue at Golden State Lumber or Ashby Lumber, where we were promptly acknowledged and assisted. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will be moving forward elsewhere.

We…read moredecided to finish one of the sheds and every contractor that we have had out has commented on the high quality of materials and build on our sheds. The shed selection on site made it easy to pick our options, but we did ask about some extra add ons not on display that really made a huge difference in the look of our sheds. Based on some other shed photos we saw online, we upgraded the doors to the window door and on the shed that we finished, we added 3 small windows on the top long wall and it added so much light, and doesn't prevent tall shelving from being used. If you are getting a shed for a working space, I highly recommend adding those top small windows. We worked with Richard to order everything and he was super chill and no pressure. All the upgrades were things we brought up, and he clearly explained what would/wouldn't work. I felt the upgrades were very reasonably priced. Each shed took one day to build and the friendly crew came out on time each day. It took about 3 weeks to get on their schedule, which was enough time for us to get the space ready for the build.
