As I…read morecan only assume, they asked for you to pay for a full hour of work, up front, before would even come out. I am not aware of any business that demands payment prior to even diagnosing anything. The issues I had, seemed to work when they were on-site and I explained that this happens to me too. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. They suggested they'd come back, check out those issues again and install a new air conditioner (it needed it), clean another air conditioner, seal the roof and fix the original issues. They would build it all into a roof claim for insurance. After weeks of texting and calling with no follow up from RV Wizards, I asked if they were up to finishing the job or would rather pass? Again, no response. So I paid their 130.00 for.......nothing. I would not recommend. Run away!!

They didn't have the part to fix it but that was not really expected. They did send two guys over, at 8 AM on a Sunday, who wrestled the awning arms back to the IN position and then went on the roof and tightly rolled the awning and secured it in place. They understood the assignment! Before they left they talked us through making the repair once we get home and get the part. I would not hesitate to call this company again if we have a problem next year when we are in the Keys.

    I just rented an RV yesterday for a trip across country to relocate my 83 year old grandmother from…read moreMiami to Los Angeles. Where to begin.. The office phone line from where we picked up the RV continually rings. You're lucky if someone picks up and you can't leave a message as there is no answering machine. The place where you pick up the RV looks like an abandoned lot - the only reason we found it was because there were a few RVs in the lot. The main receptionist was nice and went through the orientation quickly but was willing to answer questions. She was the only positive part about this experience so far. We were told that the RV takes 4-6 hours for the refrigerator to cool. The reason we are driving instead of flying is because my grandmother needs Insulin that has to be refrigerated and she doesn't want to fly because of COVID. Well, 5 hours had passed and the fridge was not getting cold- not even close. I called the road side assistance number because the office tells you "once you drive off the lot you're in road side assistance's hand". I spoke with two representatives: Sherri and Melissa. After making sure I had done all of the proper steps, they told me that they would look into hiring a contractor to come take a look at the fridge. There is no actual road side assistance. You call the main El Monte number and they find someone to "maybe" come fix your problem. When I told Sherri that we needed the fridge for the insulin, she told me get a cooler as a back up for the insulin. Imagine paying $2,700 for a working RV and being told to go get a cooler. If I wanted a cooler I would have just driven in my normal car with one! The worst part is that when they found a contractor to come fix the fridge- they declined because his rate was too high. Attached is the text the contractor sent me about not coming to service our RV because El Monte didn't want to pay. EL Monte has yet to call me back and it's a new day already. My uncle was able to figure out the loose wires and fixed the fridge on his own. We haven't even hit the road yet and it already has been a bad experience.
