What can I say? Called and made appointment for two days later. Got my little trailer there at about 10am to have them check the bearings and brakes as we were leaving for a short trip the next day. They finished it up a couple of hours later and let me know it was ready. When I got there, they told me that everything was good to go: brakes good, wheel bearings good, AND they had checked the propane system, tire pressures and replaced a burned out running light! While I don't want to list the price charged, suffice it to say that I was extremely pleased. No sticker shock here! The guys there are all great, friendly and helpful. The owner, Joe, was very willing to discuss the possibility of doing some axle modifications for me and as soon as I can get him some info, I will be talking to them again. Great service! What an experience! The story goes like this... A few weeks ago my family and I were on our way to the marina when I blew a hub. Fortunately we were able to get a local repair guy to come roadside and fix it. We got to fish that day, but the repair was NOT CHEAP! Came out to $320.00 for the roadside repair. Figuring that I was running the risk for the other three hubs, I started looking around for my options. I was pleasantly surprised to find Trailer Depot of Miami so close to home. I went in and spoke to Eddie. He was awesome! I received a quote for the replacement of the other three hubs, a new taillight and aluminum uprights for the guide bars. All-in, I was out of there for $460.00. I was able to drop off the boat at 9:00am and pick up by 5:00pm. No up-sell and no bs... overall a great experience. I'm still trying to put into words the incredible experience I had with Trailer Depot. My community boatyard was going to have a resurfacing project the next day so I went over to move my trailer, which I hadn't done for four years. After I hooked up with my truck & went to pull the trailer the wheels were dragging & wouldn't roll. I made one call, & Joe came to the rescue! He immediately knew the problem was that the brakes were frozen & asked me if I had something to pry the calipers open, which I didn't. Joe showed up with his crow bar & pryed open two of the four wheels, then jacked up the trailer & pulled the lugnuts off the other two wheels for better access & freed those wheels too. He did all of this in about 10 minutes, put his tools back in the truck & was getting ready to go without charging me a dime! I had to talk him into taking something to at least grab something to eat later in the day. Who does that's?? Especially when I had about 2 more hours before the deadline from the property manager to get the trailer out of the boatyard! It's great to have companies to feel good about doing business with, especially those that have such good people like Joe. If you ever need a new trailer or repair look no further than Trailer Depot. Joe @ tlr depot went beyond the normal in getting a military load underway again by going the extra mile getting 6 tires replaced on site, not at his shop, as the boat trailer was oversized. The other two shops I called were not nearly as helpful. He also made me aware of studs being the wrong size before he installed tires. His knowledge and honesty is becoming rare. I was in that business once, and you get a lot of incorrect info & BS from "experienced tire repairman". Since I was 700 miles away from the site, I depended on him and the driver to take care of business. call him and know he will do a good job. Terrible service. Item was on backorder for weeks. Never got an explanation or offer from them to call the manufacturer. Last time I spoke with Josh, he said he would call me back in 25 mins. He never called that day or ever. This is the second time this has happened. Instead of calling me back and explaining why the parts were not available, they cancelled my order without telling me. I guess the small orders and customers aren't important. This exact same scenario happened to me last year when I ordered from them. Never again. I sent an email to Joe explaining what was happening, Never heard back from him either. BTW the order was more than 4 weeks old with no explanation as to why. read more

Needed to replace a hub that had temporary lug nuts on for a couple days. I showed up with the trailer. They came out and told me the cost to replace the hub(Very fair price). Got a call a couple of hours later to go pick up. They not only replaced the hub, they greased the axle, checked the other wheel, checked the suspension and fixed my fender that was mangled from the wheel that had come off while driving. They were very professional. The front desk and from a peak at the back, very clean and organized. Everyone wearing team shirts. A true testament on how a real business should be run(Rare in Miami). I purchased a custom trailer from Joe on 6/23/2015. I live out of state, so I was unable to meet Joe or see his location. I would never recommend purchasing anything from Joe at Trailer Depot of Miami. The following was and is my very unpleasant dealings with Joe. Prior to the order Joe promised to measure the vessel and verify bunk location/placement. Joe quoted and confirmed 2-3 week lead time for trailer delivery. Joe didn't measure the vessel, nor did he respond to several emails and phone calls about the overall progress and timeline of the trailer delivery. In order to get a response from Joe, I issued a stop payment on a check for a progress payment. This was after the trailer slipped the promised delivery of 7/15/2015. The trailer was then delivered on 7/30/2015. Joe said he was too busy on 7/30/2015 to bring the trailer to Hi-Lift for loading. By this time I was in contact with the actual trailer manufacturer and they were able to send one of their trucks and technicians for vessel loading and bunk adjustment. In this scenario Joe was a trailer reseller, he didn't bring any other value and was removed from the resolution at this point. We spent about 3 hours at Hi-Lift trying to place the vessel onto the trailer, unsuccessfully I might add. None of the bunks were even remotely close to the required placement for this vessel. I spoke to the owner of the trailer manufacturing company, we decided to hire a transport company and ship the vessel on a transport trailer to the manufacturing plant to be rebuilt. I received the corrected rebuilt trailer on 8/8/2015. The trailer is paid for in full. I have been trying to get the trailer title from Joe since 8/20/2015. Today is 9/26/2015. I still don't have the title to the trailer. Joe is refusing to issue the title. He told me he is waiting a couple more days for the final check to clear. Joe cashed the check and funds cleared my account on 8/20/2015. read more
