It's a Benjamin Moore paint retailer - so the quality is good. For me, Benjamin Moore is the only…read morepaint I'll use and since Parvo's is the only dealer on the island, I have to go there. The people who work there are hot and cold - sometimes I go in and get help, especially when the older woman is working, but other times they are absolutely no help. I am going thru the excruciating process of picking an exterior house paint color, and so recently have been going there just about every day for more samples or quarts to try out. I went in and said, "I'm almost there. Getting very close. The color I'm looking for is a toned down version of Stratton Blue. I'm looking for something in between Stratton and Sea Pine. Can you help me find that color?" To which their response was, "did you look at the paint chips we have?" Yeah. Uh, my painter gave me their entire color portfolio. I happen to really really suck at picking off of paint chips. Which is why I literally have 2 dozen samples here at the house, and you know, that adds up to alot of money. So I was asking for their freaking expertise because I don't know what I'm doing. And I said as much to them. So I walked out of there with yet another paint sample, which I picked on my own and was totally wrong when I got home. My contractor asked me how I made out when I got back, to which I responded that they really are of no helpat all there. He wasn't surprised and stated that they pretty much have that reputation. Then he had the brilliant idea of mixing Stratton with Sea Pine until we found what I liked - and lo and behold that's all it took. I painted a shingle, took it in to Parvos, and had them match it. When they matched it, yeah, it was pretty much a color they already had. Which maybe they could have helped me with when I'd asked, instead of me having to go home again and then make yet another trip back. If you are a professional painter or don't need their help, then yeah, Benjamin Moore paint is great and you'll be fine. Just don't be expecting any sort of color help.

That's my first experience, The next was I wanted two quarts of latex white gloss they persuaded me into high gloss which I found has nothing to do with price, but when I asked why it cost $60.00 they said its because it's high gloss. You can buy Benjamin paint at ace hardware in Portsmouth $10.00 cheaper same product! Don't know how they stay in business.

The…read moretwo young men who arrived were professional, careful, and able to lift the heavy items up and downstairs. I would hire them again as needed, with a recommendation and lesson learned to have a better feel for how many hours you really need prior to booking versus what they recommend. They worked with me to adjust my invoice when the team was done in half the time. Going forward I'll know to book the minimum amount of time, and can always add on at another point in the future.

Because of management's poor planning, it required a second trip to a new house nearly an hour away. The job was so badly understaffed by the company that one of the workers had to leave before the second trip, leaving my boyfriend and me to do a massive amount of the heavy lifting ourselves. We actually felt so bad for the two workers who were put in this terrible position by their employer that we tipped them well--this failure belongs entirely to the company's dispatch and planning, not them.On top of leaving the move completely unfinished--forcing me to hire an entirely separate moving company days later to finish the job--their careless logistics resulted in severe property damage. As you can see in the attached photos, they badly gouged and scratched my wooden table, and they broke knobs completely off our dressers and bookcases. To top off this absolute nightmare, Surv customer service contacted me to state they are charging me an additional $1,000 for a move they didn't even successfully complete. Surv management is unprofessional, unreliable, and exploits both their customers and their own workers. Save yourself the stress and hire a legitimate moving company instead.
