My favorite paper store. Like ever. They always have a plethora of paper goods for every event you can imagine. I used to live in Alpine and would drive all the way out to Coronado for cards (that's how awesome this place is). Now we live in the city and are only 15 minutes away, so my visits have become more frequent (woohoo!). I bring all of my out-of-town guests into the shop, and they love it too! Only complaint is the ladies there aren't super friendly or helpful, but I know they are generally busy. *Ahem, I'll gladly work here!* They carry goodies from Rifle Paper Co. and Mr. Boddington's Studio, both lovely design companies! This place is adorable. If you're looking for a great, albeit expensive, card this is the place. The papery has a selection of items that are great for gifts, and they also have an invitation service. They are big into holidays, so go there if you need to decorate, especially for Christmas. And the ribbons they sell are great! read more

A stunning store...every time I walk by the window display I feel happy! But, be warned...plan on taking out a loan if you buy here. Most greeting cards are $6 ea. I was here once with an acquaintance when she picked up her Christmas cards...she had to pay the remaining 50% balance. It was $1,100. Yes, that's right...I'm serious. But, there are lots of small unique things to make your desk look pretty or impress your friend for her birthday! read more

I come here for gifts, cards, etc. I love the store. It's magical, and so fun! They did wrap for free. There was a sign up in January stating wrapping is now $3...Eh? The owner is sweet, but I don't always get the best customer service. If you stop in, you have to speak up. There must be something distracting in the air. This store has a great selection of greeting cards and other stationery-related items! I live out of town and stop in every time I am in San Diego to stock up on birthday and anniversary cards. It's in a great location on Coronado. The window display is what first drew me to the store; it changes but is always fun! The greeting cards are not cheap, but they are very unique and special for the recipient. Every time I've stopped by the store also has sale items on display. This store is super cute!! Has so many neat and fun items. We were greeted by a sweet cashier (long brunette hair). She smiled and said to feel free to ask her any questions we might have. At this point with her greeting and warm welcoming, we felt good browsing the store. Absolutely loved everything there. Somethings were a bit pricey but there were also lots of fair priced items. As we got toward the back of the store I noticed the personalized cards and invitation area, there was a tall woman with short blonde hair standing there, just staring, no smile nothing. I didn't think much, kept browsing. As we went to pay for our items, with the cashier that greeted us, the woman from the back came to assist her (the short blonde hair lady). She not once made eye contact with us, smiled, greeted us or thanked us. Her vibe was very cold. At this point we didn't feel as great as we felt when we had walked in. Had it not been for the other girl we definitely would not have browsed much less purchased anything. Tip to the manager/owner (most likely the blonde) keep that cashier around because of her we felt welcomed. read more
