These folks do a very good job with our two Havanese dogs. Our dogs actually like going here and they always come back looking good!

I would not even give this pet salon/groomer a 1 if that was an option. I have to be honest we have utilized the services here occasionally as our normal groomer is always so busy and difficult to schedule at last minute ...perhaps I should taken note of that before I took my dogs back there ... but before we have not been as dissatisfied as this time. We have 2 golden retrievers and our youngest is losing his winter coat... so alot of fur and in need of a good grooming with trim. Please see what we got in photo below!!! Blisters from CLIPPER BURN and now infected. No they arent hotspots they were blisters that opened yesterday. My husband called after services and upon seeing the redness and blisters that formed he was not rude infact he used "disappointed with grooming and clipped too short and we never want him clipped that short again". Today at 8:03 am (the salon opens up at 0800 am) I received callback and it was "chelsea" and she was in rare form, right off the bat ready to let me have it and inform me "umm yes I was the groomer that clipped your dog and my clipper blades weren't hot and vet's misdiagnose this all time it's not clipper burn". Hmmm first red flag dading makes me think not the first time of this complaint. Looked into n reviews today and guess what it's not!!Then I hear a female in the background very caustic and cursing really loud and then i hear laughing. i asked Chelsea who is that swearing and yelling and is it directed to me and did they find this funny? Chelsea unbelievable answered "yeah and she is laughing at you because she knows that vets misdiagnose this all time". I said to Chelsea are you serious realizing at that point I knew I was speaking to a poor representative of this licensed business. So I asked who the owner was and Chelsea quickly responded " that would be my mom, Karen" and proceeded to give me an email address and then proceeded to say "well if he wasn't matted because you neglect your dog bc you dont brush him" , i said neglect my dog are you kidding me? If he had matting that bad then Chelsea, should not have clippered him to his bare skin if you couldnt see it. You should have taken more time and used scissors and products and again take time just don't clipper him directly to his skin. chelsea ended the conversation and said "well if your not happy, dont come back, we dont want your business". Umm do they really think I would take my dogs back there? Are you serious !! I emailed the owner "karen" and proceeded to go to the scheduled vet appointment. It was clipper burn and infact vet actually said it is one of the worst he has seen (a vet for years) and stated they clipper for surgeries and even they have not ever seen it as bad and he stated exactly what i said to chelsea if Teddie was "so matted" you don't clipper to skin. He said it is additionally infected directly at the level of skin. Shot, oral abx and topical ointment, and we went on our way. I still have not heard any response from owner! Poor business!! read more

I really love this pet salon. I like the way they groom my dog. However, I called to make an appointment and instead of getting the recording, an actual person picked up. We made it for Monday, February 6 and I came only to find out they are closed on Mondays. Very inconvenient for me. Had I heard the recording, I would have known that they are only open Tuesday through Saturday. I called several times and never heard back from anyone. I was willing to reschedule, but alas, no one called me back. read more

STAY AWAY from this groomer! If I could give them a 0 out if 5 I would! It's filthy, dogs are running everywhere and staff do not value customers. There was always fur and dust all over the place. And staff seemed very unconcerned about the quality of work they would do on your pup. The last straw, however, was the inconsistency with booking appointments. On several occasions, we made an appointment that was not entered into the system so when we arrived, we were turned away and they could not even reschedule even when we showed them the appointment card. Staff really don't seem to care at all about their clientele. This business is NOT worth your time, money, and pets overall safety. Would highly recommend not using them. By far the worst groomer in my over 30 years of being a dog owner. read more

My 2 dogs had been groomed in Virginia every month for 2 years although I live in Delaware. I finally decided to find a local groomer and read about this Salon, made an appointment, and was very pleased with the staff and the wonderful care given to my 2 beloved pups. First of all, I seldom if ever write reviews for local businesses. However, my experience with this shop is a different story. First, they lost my appointment for my two Westies, but they finally decided to service them, but said it would take a long time. Not sure why these dogs were serviced last due to their error. Six hours later, I picked them up. When I checked my credit card charges I notices a $30.00 increase than the price they quoted me on the phone.. To their credit, they did respond to the message I left them questioning their charges. Rather than offer some type of favorable response, the individual offered unreasonable excuses and rationalizations. One dog was "difficult" and that their prices went up. I have never had a groomer express a difficult time with either of these dogs. I explained their service was poor - the "difficult" dog's tail and head were left untouched. Both dogs had a look like it was rushed with uneven cuts and areas untouched. I am glad so many people have had a good service with this shop, but I am certainly not one of the. Their service was bad, unprofessional, but most importantly, their inability to offer a reasonable remedy to a customer is inexcusable. Here's hoping no one else receives this kind of experience with their fur babies. read more

I've been taking my dog, Olive, here for years now. They always take good care of her and they do a great job on the grooming. I have a long haired, very furry dog and they always trim her fur well. Staff is friendly. They are quick and it's always easy to get an appointment. Price is also reasonable. I also like that there are never a ton of dogs there at one time, which makes the experience less stressful for my dog. read more
