PUPPY MILL NOTICE - BREEDER INFO AND CHARGES BELOW: PATRICIA…read moreROWE - 10791 ORIAN ROAD SHERIDAN, MO 64486 - Public records https://www.humaneworld.org/sites/default/files/docs/101-problem-puppy-mills.pdf (PAGE 18) LUIS GONZALEZ- 22111 DAWN DRIVE MILAN, MO 63556 - Public records https://www.humaneworld.org/sites/default/files/docs/HSUS_Horrible-Hundred-2023.pdf (PAGE 13) Both of these breeders have failed USDA inspection reports; showing multiple problems at Rowe's Family Kennel, including excessive accumulations of feces, dogs outside in the cold in January, and dirty food. At Breeder Luis Gonzalez's location a puppy was found "lethargic and cold to the touch," another dog was underweight with his ribs and spine showing; the facility had over 500 dogs." I am beyond outraged by the inhumane and negligent treatment of these animals at Forever Love Puppies in Pembroke Park. We purchased two puppies: a 3-month-old Chihuahua and a 2-month-old Pomeranian. They came home sick. No family should ever experience the fear and financial burden of bringing home a puppy only to find out it is already ill. The so-called "complimentary" veterinary visit that this store "gifts" buyers to use is completely misleading. Our puppies were never examined by a veterinarian, yet we were assured by a staff assistant that they were "perfect" without any tests or physical examination. Side note on this fraud of a clinic: When I walked out of the examination room, there was a dead dog on the bench next to a lady in the waiting room. Such a level of unprofessionalism or disrespect is unbelievable. The attendant called someone to "come get the body". Didn't offer a room for the lady to grieve and choose the urn made her pay and choose in front of everyone with her dead dog on the bench behind her. Days later, our Chihuahua puppy ended up in the emergency room severely dehydrated with signs of Ataxia, a neurological symptom. The result? Over $1,200 in emergency veterinary bills and weeks of emotional distress, all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honest medical screening. We were told that a simple fecal test would have immediately detected Giardia. That basic test was never performed, even though the paperwork states otherwise. We took our boys to our private veterinarian, and both were diagnosed with Giardia. Even more disturbing is the breeder listed on our paperwork. A quick search reveals serious public concerns tied to this breeder. When we looked up the address ourselves using publicly available satellite imagery, the location appears to be a barn-like structure with no visible evidence of adequate shelter or proper housing facilities. At the time, temperatures were around 32 degrees. The thought of vulnerable puppies being housed and possibly transported in those conditions is horrifying. The fact that this store continues to source from breeders surrounded by red flags demonstrates either a shocking lack of due diligence or a complete disregard for animal welfare and consumer protection. There is also a publicly available news report involving the owner's son, Larry Master, which every potential buyer should watch before considering a purchase. Reports and documentation show that puppies are transported in freezing temperatures, with hundreds crammed into trucks and distributed to pet stores across the country. These are living, breathing animals, not merchandise, not inventory, not commodities. This entire experience was irresponsible, unethical, and deeply disturbing. If you care about animal welfare, please do your research. Seek out truly reputable, transparent breeders or consider adoption. No puppy deserves to suffer for the sake of profit, and no family deserves to bring home heartbreak instead of joy. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/lawsuits-forever-love-puppies-accused-of-selling-sick-dogs-11711531/

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a French Bulldog from Petland Fort Myers…read more When I bought my puppy, I trusted that a store selling such expensive dogs would stand behind the health guarantees they advertise. At around one year old, my dog developed a serious eye condition and was diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist with a cataract caused by a genetic issue and associated inflammation. This is not a minor problem -- it is a painful condition that can lead to permanent blindness and requires specialized treatment and potentially surgery costing thousands of dollars. I contacted Petland expecting them to honor their health guarantee for congenital or hereditary conditions. Instead, they dismissed the diagnosis and refused to provide meaningful assistance. Despite documentation from a specialist, the store would not take responsibility and repeatedly avoided helping resolve the situation. Buying a puppy should not turn into a financial and emotional burden due to genetic disease, especially when the business promotes screened and healthy animals. I feel completely misled and unsupported after the sale. If you are considering purchasing a dog here, be aware that once you leave the store, you may be on your own if a hereditary medical problem appears. I would strongly encourage potential buyers to carefully review the guarantees and understand that they may not be honored when it matters most.

When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! They were crazy about food and now they will sit in front of food and wait to eat it when they are told. It's amazing! We then brought them back for a tune up when our son was born. It was awesome knowing they were with people who knew them and loved them. Our dog Charlie ran and jumped in the lake immediately! Happy as can be. A huge shoutout to Derrick! When our son was born 4 weeks early he went out of his way to pick our dogs up when we were stuck at the hospital. He truly loves the dogs and cares about the families. You can tell this is his passion and it shows through his work! Lastly, Anthony has been fantastic to work with throughout too! Due to him and Derrick we will continue bringing our dogs back here when we need boarding knowing they are in the BEST hands. If you're looking for a great training facility with the best people, look no further. You found them!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING…read more I would leave 0 stars if I could. The managers and staff at this location are an embarrassment and a danger to pets. I brought my 1-year-old dog in for a grooming appointment, and he left the salon with his scrotum mutilated by incompetent groomers who somehow thought it was necessary to use a blade on such a sensitive area. On top of that, they must have been wearing blindfolds while grooming him because he came back looking like a 3-year-old got ahold of him with a pair of scissors. The haircut was absolutely butchered. When I first called to voice my concerns, the store leader, Carol, told me to take my dog to the vet and that they would cover the cost. Mind you, she didn't even have the decency to offer me a full refund. If you injure a pet badly enough that they need to see a VET, a refund should be automatic. Instead, I spent the next two nights listening to my dog cry in pain because of what they did to him. Then I got to spend the next two days playing phone tag with the incompetent store manager, Carol, and her other leaders, Skii and Samantha. Both Skii and Samantha refused to offer me a refund, claiming they had a "process." Neither of them showed an ounce of empathy toward me or my dog. Not once did they apologize or take any ownership of the situation. They simply kept telling me that only Carol could approve a refund and promised she would call me the next day. Well, today came, and by 5:00 p.m., Carol still had NOT called. She's a lazy, incompetent, poor excuse for a manager. I had to call her. The moment she heard my phone announce that the call was being recorded, she suddenly stopped talking and immediately offered to refund my card. Funny how that works. Even then, she still didn't apologize. She didn't take accountability. She didn't show a shred of empathy. If you can't be a decent human being, you have absolutely no business working with animals. I will never return to this location--or to any PetSmart. They don't care about your pets. They care about making a quick buck, and my dog's injury is proof of how little they value the animals placed in their care.

Good service. Not so affordable but very nice staff they take good care of your dog. Good service…read moreambiance
