Did we get the same thing as last time? Yes. Do we regret it? Not one bit! The lamb here is so tender and perfectly cooked every time, definitely one of my top lamb dishes here in Birmingham. The shrimp bbq flatbread is the perfect app - light, flaky, sweet & savory, fresh - all of it!! They were pretty busy this night so it did take a good minute to get our food but we were more than okay with it. What an Amazing experience at a health conscious restaurant!! The food was so delicious. The crab cake was so light and delightful seasoned to perfection! We had the Mediterranean chicken breast salad with the flatbread pairing. The tea was perfect and the dessert was just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth.! Our waiter Kenyon was the true professional and earned every bit of our respect and gratuity. Seasons 52 will be a constant go to when we dine out. My fiancée and I had a reservation here last night; since it was our third year anniversary. We wanted to eat at a new restaurant for this special day and I'm glad my fiancée got us this reservation. Check in was a simple process and we only had to wait a few minutes to get to our table and food. The kitchen was backed up due to homecoming. Not a problem at all. I got a Caesar salad as my appetizer and rainbow trout, potatoes and broccolini as my main dish. I also got a Botanical Splash to drink as well. It's a non-alcoholic drink. My fiancée got the salmon, with potatoes and broccoli. She got a cranberry and sage to drink. Plus we had free dessert. :) Everything we had to eat and drink was absolutely delicious. Visited here for the first time because honestly North Italia had a long wait. I started off with a watermelon margarita. It was actually pretty good. I was turned off at the waitress not putting any sort of napkin underneath my glass. I expected that gesture in a restaurant like this one. The candle at our table was off and it was too dark to read the menu, so we had to ask for the candle to be lit. Kind of annoying to have to ask. My husband got an espresso martini. It didn't taste great and had no foam on top or the three coffee beans. Tasted very watered down and didn't have the correct color most places have. We ordered an app that had tuna, avocado...it was built up high and was good I guess but sort of tasteless. Presentation was nice. For my entree I had scallops and it was cooked perfectly. Asparagus was cooked well too. My husband had the filet mignon with lobster and a side of asparagus. Cooked very well and tasted great. Steak was obviously very soft. We gathered here for a surprise birthday party. Initially, the waiter was cool and seemed not happy to be there, but by the time the guest of honor arrived he warmed up and did a great job. Two of us had the salmon over a salad. We agreed it was cooked perfectly, flaky and juicy. The greens were fresh and tasty. Several had the pork chop and wanted to lick their plates. The guest of honor had the rainbow trout and was very pleased to see it on the menu. It was a large serving and she had nothing but good things to say. The majority of the meals came with broccolini. This is where all were disappointed. It was tough and hard to eat. It was the only thing left on everyone's plate. First time at Seasons 52 to celebrate a birthday. Yeah, I was that person who joined the e-mail newsletter for a free flatbread. Our table of 4 shared the Pesto Chicken and Mozzarella for an appetizer. I panicked when the table deferred to me to pick and only remembered the chicken and mozza, forgetting that I am not an arugula fan. It was still pretty good, though I would request to forgo the arugula next time, if only because I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't like arugula. Others at the table also started their meals with the lobster bisque and an ahi tuna tartare. I don't know how good the ahi tuna tartare was, but it sure was pretty! Main courses we ordered were the steak salad, the Chilean sea bass, and filet mignon in both the 6 oz and 8 oz cuts. I ordered the 6 oz medium-rare, and my spouse ordered the 8 oz medium. His 8 oz looked beautiful and was closer to the med-rare end of medium, and he enjoyed it. Mine was way closer to medium and was definitely more done than the 8 oz. It was still tender and flavorful, just a minute or two more than a med-rare should have been. They were nice enough to sub green beans for the asparagus on my order, and the Yukon mash was pretty good. Our server admitting to being pretty new, but she was really nice and pretty attentive for a Saturday night. They do get extra kudos for helping celebrate the birthday. When half the table came early, they gladly stowed a birthday cake and brought it out after the meal and several (masked) servers helped sing the obligatory verses. read more

The service here is excellent and professional. The menu varies seasonally as it is loaded with fresh food options. I had the Sea Bass - it was absolutely sublime. A delightful light Asian glaze served over wild rice. My wife enjoyed the seared scallops, and my daughter dined on a nice flatbread. We started the meal with a roasted artichoke hummus appetizer that I would highly recommend. Multiple wines are available by the bottle or by the glass as they have an extensive wine list. For our appetizer we ordered a crab cake thinking that for $14 there would be atleast two...there was one. It's definitely NOT worth the price tag but it was delicious. The menu was a bit lackluster, entrée wise, to me. I decided to get the salmon which comes with potatoes and green beans but I swapped out the latter for mac & cheese. The salmon was dry and the dill-mustard sauce that came with it didn't compliment it. We asked our waiter for a new sauce and the chef made us an Asian inspired sauce that went PERFECTLY with it. The potatoes had a nice flavor on the outside but the inside was dry. The mac and cheese was bland but wasn't horrible. I also had a glass of the Royal Rosé and a Hawaiian cosmo which were both good but not worth the price. Overall I wouldn't rush back here but I would come back eventually! read more

I guess I'm not the only person not cooking this year. They had their regular menu and a special Thanksgiving menu. My family chose to eat the Thanksgiving special. The flat bread pizzas are always good here. I was impressed with the lobster bisque. It was creamy and rich with a great lobster flavor. The salmon, which was baked on a piece of cedar wood, was also good. It came plated with green beans and baby potatoes. As far as dessert goes, stay with the key lime pie - I got the upside down pineapple cake this time and wasn't as pleased as when I got the key lime last time. Seasons 52 has become one of my favorite upscale chain restaurants. I have never had anything on their menu that I didn't like. For starters, I highly recommend buying a flatbread for the table. I love the Lobster Flatbread and their buffalo cauliflower flatbread. They also have a great mixed drink menu that you can't go wrong with. During my most recent trip I got the shrimp and grits, some of the best I've ever had!! They included sausage and bacon which made it unique. I will say the sweet server was super overloaded with tables so service took longer than the pre-covid days. PSA: Be nice to servers and staff.... If they're there it means we can be too.
