I had a party here for my husband's birthday. Seasons 52 made everything so easy. We were given the Napa room for our party of 15 to 20 people. I chose to do a set menu which included a choice of two flat breads for the table, a salad for each person, two choices of entree, and mini dessert shooters for everyone. The room we were in was nice and we were all seated at a giant table where we could see everyone. I chose the roma tomato and garlic pesto flat breads. Both were really good. I also chose the caesar salad for everyone. Each person got their own salad and they were really big! For the two entrees, each person could choose between filet mignon or wood plank salmon. I chose the salmon, hubby got the filet. The salmon was really moist and tasted good. I tried hubby's filet and it was delicious. Made me a little sorry I didn't get that! Before dessert we had a little champagne toast that was included. That was really a nice touch. The desserts were the mini shooters. There were so many different ones. They all looked great. I had the peanut butter mousse one. It was really good! The staff was great and impressed us when all the entrees were brought in at the same time by many servers so we could all be served at the same time. One of those meals you wish never had to end! This is one of our go-to's to celebrate special occasions and it never disappoints. I get the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and sub green beans for whatever is listed on the menu and everything is superb. I add on the Caesar salad and you will not find a better Caesar anywhere I promise you. The steak and potatoes melt in your mouth and are so good to the last bite. I ordered mine medium rare and it's always cooked perfectly. I can't say enough good things about this place. I went for happy hour on Thursday. I didn't love anything I ordered. I really hate that but I just didn't. I ordered the avacado toast. The toast was very, very dense and more on the burnt side than the toasted side. The avacado and toppings were very good. I also ordered the pimento cheese which came w/some kind of cracker that was awful. They seemed pretty prepared for me to hate it, as the server readily brought a different cracker. The new cracker was good not great. The cheese was very tight, dense - same consistency as over cooked meatloaf. The taste was actually pretty good. I had the house cabernet and it was good. Let me start by saying we had the greatest waitress! So friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! I've eaten at a Seasons 52 in Naples Fl and they were phenomenal so I wanted to eat here for my Birthday last night! They weren't as tasty as the one in Naples but they deserve 4 stars. For starters we had 2 appetizers - the grilled artichoke and whole cauliflower with cheese! The flavor of the artichoke was good but they were so tough you couldn't eat them... (we were served 3 half's and only could eat half of 2 half's - we were piecing thru them to find any good pieces to no avail, and I was heartbroken as I'd had them in Naples and they were to die for!!). The whole cauliflower was amazing and I could drink the cheese sauce! For our meals I had he half chicken which was good but dry. My daughter and my sons girlfriends split a garlic and pesto chicken flatbread minus the chicken and they said it was really good! My son had the wood-grilled New York strip and he said his steak was good and flavorful just a thin piece (not what is usually served in restaurants) On to desserts!! We tried too many! Hahaha.... We tried the Pecan Pie, Belgian Chocolate S'more, Mocha Macchiato, Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte, Strawberry Rhubarb Cheesecake! They were all super fabulous!!! I could eat them all day!!! Seasons 52 is a very nice restaurant without $$$$ prices. We went for an anniversary and we looked at each other 15 minutes in and said oh my goodness this is the best service we have ever had and it's not overdone where the waiters talk to you too much. I was scared to go back because I wanted to remember the perfect dining experience. But eventually, we did go back and it was still excellent. I think this store must have had the employees read the book ( Raving Fans ). It's a good place to take people that you want to impress or share a lovely restaurant with. My girlfriends took me to lunch for my birthday. It did not disappoint. Atmosphere was perfect, service was great. We did not have a reservation, so we sat at the bar and I ordered a mimosa and my friend ordered a margarita, let me tell you, it was off the charts good!! We made reservations at Seasons 52 for New Year's Eve. We wanted to go somewhere new to us and somewhere with a great atmosphere and great food. Seasons 52 came highly recommended. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before meeting our waiter & getting our drink order taken. The other tables around us, who were seated after us, got their orders taken before we even had our drinks. From there it went even more downhill. We rarely saw our waiter, waited 30 minutes for a water refill (my husband actually went and found the water and refilled it himself), waited 30 minutes for our appetizer, waited an hour for food, didn't receive some of the items we ordered, and spent over $200. We expected an enjoyable night and instead spent two hours irritated and aggravated with never the slightest apology for any of it. I would have given one star but the food, what we received of it anyway, was delicious. read more

Mother's Day, etc.) it may get a bit backed up even with reservation and food could be a bit late but that's generally everywhere! Ambience is family friendly. Outrageously reliable and decent are probably the best ways to describe this restaurant chain. Over the years, this building has seen many tenants, from terrible overpriced BBQ joints to equally terrible Mexican restaurants. Seasons 52 in many ways seems like a refreshment relative to that. A staple for corporate dinners, where nobody cares about the food, but wants a predictably priced outing and a business oriented conversation. Started off with a lobster flatbread, which was rather pleasant, but overcooked and dry compared to those at other chain locations. For the main course, the lamb was prepared dry and hard as a rock, despite being ordered as medium per chef's recommendation. It was a completely flavorless chunk of meat and one can't help genuinely feeling sorry for the animal that was butchered in order to be prepared in this fashion. It's just a disgrace. The cauliflower mash was extremely over salted. The desserts, as always, overwhelmingly sweet. The filet mignon was brought out dry and barely warm. On a business dinner, one might not even pay attention to these things, but when coming here on a personal occasion to enjoy food, this was a complete disaster. Having been to Seasons 52 in Buckhead, Atlanta previously, for some reason I don't recall things being this bad. The trout however was wonderfully cooked and very delicate, so that was a plus. There were three things that made this night better. First, the beer and lots of it. Oddly, they don't have any draft beers available, but a beer is a beer at the end of the day. How a restaurant in this day and age does not have a single beer on tap is truly beyond my comprehension. Second, was our waitress Emily who was kind and very attentive throughout the meal. And lastly, it was the manager, who came several times to check and refunded the steak that we didnt want to eat given it's equally terrible preparation and quality. Frankly, most of the table wanted to send the food back, but that just would not be appropriate, so the group dealt with it. What can be said about this Seasons 52? Uneventful, lacking, depressing and inconsistent preparation of food. Good attentive service of behalf of all staff and an average ambiance. read more

We came to this restaurant since it had a fair number of vegetarian options and it did not disappoint! Seasons 52 serves modern American food in a beautiful restaurant. We were seated in the bar area and even for a Monday night it was pretty busy. Our server was new, but was very sweet. There was a slight mishap over one person in our party getting the wrong dish, but it was quickly remedied. Additionally, this seemed to be a slow paced restaurant with every thing taking a little longer than it should. Shrimp and Grits - highly recommended by our server and I see why! New Year's Eve!!! We decided last minute to go out and celebrate. The nice staff at seasons 52 had an open table and I made a reservation on the way there. Here is what I like about this restaurant - upscale but not overly crazy prices and not snobby. My hubby ordered the apple bourbon infusion and it was cider with a kick! A good kick. We started with the stuffed lump crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms. They were hot and shrimpy. Then I went for the grilled scallops with risotto. This is by far the best fish on the menu. The scallops are perfect and the risotto is creamy. I am not a huge fan of broccolini so I can't say that was a winner. Of course I would say try the mini desserts indulgence!!!! We had a nice table that had a nice atmosphere. The diners ranged from well dressed to casually dressed. Our waiter came and gave us the menu and helped us get our dishes. He was really nice. However, he was slow and did not attend to our table often, especially after he dropped a plate on the ground. He also got one of our orders wrong. It was his first week so I did not add that to the pro or the con section. We also waited a long time to get our checks and to decline dessert (as presenting the dessert was deemed necessary by the owners/ managers). The food landed moderately quickly, and it was worth the wait. The food that we had was a wide variety and included flatbreads and some main entrees such as the gnocchi and the lasagna. The flatbreads were really flakey and good. It had a decent amount of flavor and was pretty filling. We had the grilled chicken ravioli which was really good. The chicken taste was hidden from me, but you do get some of the flavor here or there. It was not too creamy nor was it too powerful in any of the main flavors. Overall, it was a nice and light dish with some fresh tomatoes on the side. Everything tasted really fresh and made me appreciate the food that we ate way more. The hand-rolled lasagna was my entree and had a unique flavor to it. The cream on top and the lasagna with the tomato sauce started off as a really unique and interesting flavor. However, the taste begins to grow on you and I ate nearly all of the dish. The cream reminded me of sour cream but did not add much in terms of flavor. The hand-rolled lasagna had a strong hint of fresh veggies and was where most of the flavors were concentrated. The tomato sauce was nice and not sour at all. The lasagna also came with a small side made of cheese and a few greens which work to change the flavor of the dish. The only reason that I had to deduct a star was because of the service. However, this was definitely due to the time and the experience of our server that night. You could have an amazing experience here. read more

I've heard so much about Seasons 52, and I finally got to check it out yesterday. We arrived fairly early, around 4 pm, and were seated immediately. We ordered the Rosé Lemonade and the Cucumber Basil drinks to sip on while waiting on our appetizer, the chicken pesto flatbread. The waiter came out shortly after we ordered our entrees and informed us that due to some kind of mix up, our appetizer would be coming out with or shortly after our entrees. Our waiter was incredibly apologetic about it and offered to comp the appetizer right away, and the sous chef also came out to our table to apologize about the mix up. Our entrees were delicious! I had the scallops and my date ordered the filet mignon. The scallops were perfectly cooked and on a bed of creamy risotto, with broccolini on the side. His filet mignon was also perfectly cooked, covered in a delicious mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our pesto chicken flatbread was ok, definitely not the star of the evening tho! I was incredibly impressed with the wine selection. I hope to go back sometime and take advantage of their $12 flatbread and glass of wine deal! read more

Oh my. The Irondale Cafe, everyone's favorite down home southern cuisine restaurant. Just throw a dart and hit anything on the menu and it's good. Catfish and jalapeño hush puppies - yummmmm! Greek chicken - great. Peanut butter pie - to die for. Carrots and raisin salad - good enough to be dessert. Fried chicken or pork chops, meatloaf, fried chicken livers, liver and onions, country fried steak and gravy - just try to walk away. You can't. Collards or turnip greens, fried okra or green tomatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, squash casserole, black eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, lima beans and green beans. All dishes are delicious all of the time. Everything is dished up with yeast rolls or corn bread. How about apple, peach, or blackberry cobbler? Stop what you're doing and get over to the original Whistlestop Cafe. It's worth a trip. read more

Our visit started out a little rough right off the bat. We arrived & checked in a few minutes after 7pm for our 7:15pm reservation. About 7:30pm I asked the host stand how much longer & she replied, "Probably 15-20 minutes, we are super backed up." Finally about 7:45pm we were sat at our table. (They did bring out some appetizers for everyone that was waiting because they were so behind. That was a nice touch.) Our server was super nice & we ordered the crab cake appetizer & a few minutes later ordered dinner. It took almost 25 minutes for our appetizer to come out. Our server even came by our table a couple times to apologize for the delay. The crab cake was delicious (probably the only reason we gave 2 stars), but our dinner wouldn't arrive at our table for almost another 25 minutes. I had ordered the filet over mashed potatoes & my wife ordered the steak salad. The server brought my wife the wrong dish (steak, potatoes & green beans). The server quickly apologized when Kristy reminded her that she ordered a salad & said she would get it out ASAP. After the server left I cut into my filet that was supposed to be medium rare +. After the second cut I saw that my 8oz filet was almost completely raw in the middle. When she brought the correct dish out for my wife I showed her my steak & she again apologized & said she would have it cooked correctly. Now we have been seated for almost 1:15 minutes & I still don't have my dinner and I'm getting a little frustrated. When the chef comes out with my steak cooked correctly & re-plated, it was with small roasted potatoes, not mashed. When I asked about the mashed potatoes he let me know there were out of mashed potatoes. It was a very frustrating night that ended up costing me $70 + a $15 tip for a total of $85. read more

I am going to preface this review by saying this was a private surprise birthday party for me. Having said that, I cannot tell you how perfect this was. The staff did an amazing job of being very attentive. Now on to the second star of the evening the food. They started us with a treat of a pear like salad sample that was amazing, really enjoyed this. The. The appetizers of 2 flat breads came out, really good for an appetizer. The next was the Cesar salads, a huge portion of perfectly dressed goodness. For the main course we had our choice of filet mignon or plant salmon. I chose the steak and my wife had the salmon. Since I do not line mushrooms I asked for mine to not have them in the gravy. All I can say is this was by far one of the best steaks I have had in a long time, I was unsure as I have never had nor wanted gravy on a filet.... and I am here to tell you I was pleasantly surprised. That steak was so flavorful and moist. The cook on everyone's steak was perfect, and for me this is a huge plus. I also tried the wife's salmon, very flavorful as well. And just when I thought things could not get better the tower of desert shooters came out... wow is pretty much all I can say, I had 2 the chocolate and peanut butter shooter.... amazing. The other was a peanut brittle pear cheese cake I thing and that was good as well. As the evening was winding down and before we all went into a food coma, the waiter that was taking care of our party who had already done an absolute amazing job came up with one last surprise. He took our group photo and before we left brought in a birthday card with that photo and all the signatures and birthday wishes from the staff. That was the icon on the cake so to speak. Oooh La La! Best meal I have had in a LONG time! Not just because the place has fabulous decor, beautiful bar, excellent wine by the glass list.....superb service both at the bar and our waiter. The food was just excellent! There were so many choices! Rainbow trout, scallops, steak, chicken, lamb loin, pork chop, risotto, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs! Wow! It was extremely difficult to choose. Hubby got the scallops and he is always pretty complacent about his meals but exclaimed that it was DELICIOUS! It was served over risotto which was smooth and creamy! We ordered a side of the risotto also for the table. It was really good. The filet was tender! They were out of steak knives, and the waiter was apologetic but they weren't necessary because it was so tender. Served with broccolini, fresh and crisp and mashed potatoes. Delicious red wine sauce and mushrooms on top. The meatballs were fabulous and stuffed mushrooms were perfectly cooked and excellent. I loved how many choices of wine by the glass there were. We were planning on going pretty much all out to celebrate a friend leaving for med school in the next coming weeks so he chose Season's 52. Although the food was beautiful and had all the visual appeal you could imagine, the flavor of the food was a bit of a disappointment. I don't think I would come back here to celebrate a special occasion at least. We started with the Meyer lemonade which was excellent and the blackened steak & blue cheese flatbread as our appetizer. A flatbread is almost always a perfect appetizer, and they were able to deliver! For the entree, I ordered the turkey skewer which was rather flavorless. It came with a rather awkward wedge of lettuce that I didn't really touch. I believe a salad with maybe a special dressing/vinaigrette in it's place would have been a better compliment for the meal.I probably wouldn't order it again, and it's no longer on their menu. I ended the meal with a raspberry chocolate chip cannoli. I had to pretty much fight my table for it, since the waiter only brings you one dessert of each, but it wasn't worth it once I tasted it. Much like the other food, rather bland and not so memorable. It's pretty hard to say no to dessert when the waiter brings you all the dessert choices to your table, so if you're on a diet...good luck there! A popular upscale eatery at the Summit, Seasons 52 prides itself on a "rotating" menu that matches the current seasonal foods. I was fortunate to sample their menu during an office Christmas gathering. We had quite a large group and was in one of their private dining rooms. We also had our own servers. The two young men were excellent. We sampled some flatbreads and my favorite was the blackened steak & blue cheese and the pepperoni. Eat them quickly. They don't taste as good when they get cold. I ordered the Lump crab, roasted shrimp & spinach stuffed mushrooms. It arrived in a cute plate with 6 small openings. The stuffed mushrooms tasted delicious but they could've used a little more crab. Their romaine & baby kale ceasar was nothing exceptional and tasted as I would've expected. But Tammy really enjoyed her Mushroom & Arugula salad with truffle dressing. I opted for their special. Two filets, a lobster tail, garlic mashed potatoes, and broccolini. Get this if you're starving. I had the other filet for lunch the next day. The presentation was immaculate. The filets were covered with a wonderful mild brown sauce. Filets were a perfect medium rare as requested and the broccolini was nice and crunchy. My biggest complaint about lobster tail is that they are too often overcooked. The lobster was cooked perfectly... maybe even a little undercooked. Good job on the lobster Seasons 52. Tammy tried their shrimp and grits. There were at least 6 extra large shrimp on top a bed of buttered grits that tasted good but had an abundance of "tomato" flavor. Tammy said it was cooked well a traditional shrimp and grits doesn't have as strong a tomato taste. The deserts are uniquely served in their signature "shot glasses". The only problem is that they are too small! We had to request some extra cups :) Our favorite were the mocha macchiato, pecan pie and the raspberry chocolate chip cannoli! Sweet, moist, creamy... a perfect ending to the evening. The food was very good with some exceptions. Service was excellent.
