The vibe of this place and the people that make it happen every morning are world class. Life situations kept me from making my way to the shop for a year or so, but when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a "it's been a while!" The coffee is reasonably priced and imo - best in the area. It's consistent and while I'm a sucker for the 12oz cold brew - I've gone off script a few times and have always been pleased. I've got family that comes into town fairly often, and almost every morning they ask to go because they think about it when they're at home in Chicago. There's plenty of seating, tho it's sometimes so bumping (because it's a great spot!) it can be hit or miss if you can stick around and enjoy the vibe. But generally I've had good luck over the years setting up at a table and chatting with friends & fam before a hike, enjoying the morning with my pup doing some socialization training or throwing a few emails around to my corporate overlords. I've seen ads for their evening events and have been wanting to make it to one, but I always seem to see the poster days or weeks after the event! I always approach purchases made while drinking cautiously as there has been things and bottles off wine we have bought while under the influence that do not live up to expectations later. Z Street Coffee is definitely not one of those mistakes! This stuff is awesome, smooth, rich full of flavor and everything I want in a cup of coffee! If your looking for an excellent way to start the morning look no further. If you want you coffee as soon as possible after it has been roasted to ensure the best flavor, you really should give them a try. The bonus to this is they deliver free of charge in the local area. I asked the barista to use a pink lotus and make me something of her choice. She was happy to do so and asked what I didn't like. I let her know I was good with everything except cream. She made me a watermelon, desert pear, and passion fruit mix. I was very impressed with the flavors. It is not something I ever would have picked for myself, but I will now in the future.
