Efficient, competitive, trustworthy. Did a great job replacing some fogged up door inserts. Came in competitively and guaranteed workmanship for 10 years. Highly recommend.

    Glass replacement

I hired Seattle Glass to replace failed seals on several window panes in my house. I really liked that with measurements and a few pictures that I took they immediately were able to give me a quote of the price which was more competitive than other places. Once I agreed to the price they sent their technical. team to take precise measurements. They ordered the glass about a week later they contacted me that the glass was ready to install and schedule the mutually agreeable time with me. They were on time for both appointments and communicated well. They also cleaned up very nicely after their work . I sometimes can be suspicious of a place that has almost all five-star reviews but they have earned it.

I was looking for a custom tempered glass table top for a large 100" x 40" dining table in my home. I performed my own measurements and knew what specifications I wanted for it. The hard part was finding a company to come in at a reasonable cost for it. I had been putting off this project due to cost for a couple of years. Luckily I found Seattle Glass and Window through Yelp. They responded quickly to my request and sent me a great estimate. The custom order was made promptly and was delivered to me within 2 weeks. The delivery person was professional and helped with placing the glass on my table and cleaned it throughly. I'm very happy with this experience.

Before: Window on right has had moisture and mold between the panes of glass for years.

Seattle Glass was one of the first companies to provide me with a quote for a window replacement. They were very responsive and reasonably priced. Unlike some companies, they were willing to come and replace one large window (no minimum like some bigger companies). Mike came out and measured and then came installed the glass within a couple of weeks. I had to push out installation due to my daughter being sick, and they were nice enough to be flexible with our schedule. Mike did a fantastic job and was done in less than a hour. The window looks fantastic. Thank you so much!

We had Seattle Glass and Window replace the glass on three cloudy windows. They are efficient, reliable, and do good work at a good price.

Looking for a Christmas miracle? Well, FDC Glass just became my holiday hero! Picture this:…read moreshattered glass panes on my front door, a dozen contractors telling me "just replace the whole door" (aka "give us more money"), and me slowly losing hope faster than a snowman in July. Enter FDC Glass, cape flapping in the wind (okay, maybe not literally, but you get the vibe). Not only was their quote actually reasonable, but they didn't hit me with the classic contractor combo of upsells and surprise charges. They even sealed up my entrance while working on the door - no extra fee, no fuss, just good old-fashioned service. The result? My door looks fantastic, my wallet isn't crying, and I'm singing their praises louder than carolers in December. I've already told my HOA about them, and you bet I'll be calling them for my other properties. TL;DR: FDC Glass = Christmas miracle workers who actually fix what's broken instead of trying to sell you a whole new house. 10/10 would recommend!

Update: Since…read moreposting this review the company has continued to threaten me by emailing me directly. I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. I am done repeating myself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had a foggy/failing window repaired that consisted of 3 separate sections. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. That was really frustrating because it made the overall cost much higher compared to other companies I had received quotes from. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.

After running into Glass Doctor after seeing a technician working on a neighbor's house, I reached out to them. They were super responsive and helpful. Moreover, Scott, who worked on my window, seemed to have questioned whether the entire window needed to be replaced. They accepted his recommendation instead of moving forward with the original quote, and he came out again to reassess and find a solution that didn't require a full replacement. He ended up making new screens, and I hope that did the trick. If not, Glass Doctor is the company I'll call. I was very impressed by their honesty and customer-oriented mindset. They could have pressed on with a full window replacement, but they opted to go for the much lower-priced but better (for me) solution. Scott could have ordered the screens from a supplier, but he actually volunteered to make them himself, saving me hundreds of dollars. I cannot recommend them enough!
